Italian Fiesta Pizzeria - Dolton

The overall experience was okay. I ordered a pizza and it was ready in 30 minutes🥰. The lady at the counter was friendly🥰. This was our first time trying Italian Fiesta and I will give it a 3.5 out of five. The only thing I didn't like was the Italian seasoning that was sprinkled on top. Italian seasoning has a very strong flavor and it was a little too much for me. This is just my personal preference. I would try them again, but I would ask for no Italian seasoning.

Seriously, they need to swap the whole team out of there. There's not a single person in there that take their job serious. Phones ringing off the hook with one of the workers that's manning the front flat out ignoring it, paying more attention to their personal phone. I've witnessed orders being miss or flat out botched. Then my own online order that I already gave them 30 minutes to make was completely ignored, and I was told I had to wait another 30 minutes for them to finally make it with no compensation for that additional wait. And the pizza itself was actually bad and the service provided was subpar to other Italian Fiesta Pizzeria standards. If this was ever my first time eating at one of these restaurants, I would've been highly disappointed and never would visit another one again. This place brings shame to the chains name and really should be addressed before it's too late...

Well, let's start with the cars being parked in front. Like seriously parking in fire lanes with a smile. Please take care of this.

Now, let's get to my issues with this location. I called my order in while coming from merriville,In, and I got there and still waited an extra 30 mins.

My order was half sausage half turkey. The entire order was sausage, and my girl couldn't enjoy her side of things at all.

The lobby was full !!!! Uber eats orders were late, and not one apology for the mess up at all. I got home( 5 mins away), and my sht was cold n of course no answer.

I try to support my people, but damn. Please don't get familiar with us cause we're black. I'm a stranger with $ to spend, so treat our dollars like celebrities when you see it.

Please get things in order there and fix these issues.

So, updating somewhat. I've had a few pies here, and my experience is a bit more 'nuanced' at this point, as I've now compared it with Aurelio's and Rosati's, both popular branches in the area.

Pizza is a subjective business. My favorite is not yours. That said, IFP best compares with Rosati's thin crust pizza, as both are prepared in fairly similar ways. Having tried the sausage and pepperoni here amongst others, and the same there, I will say a few things about them comparatively: A positive of IFP is that you can get a few ingredients you might never find at a Rosati's, but they aren't necessarily ingredients that I want on a pizza, and they will drastically increase your price tag. For comparable fare in terms of ingredients, IFP has slightly larger and higher end toppings, while Rosati's pizza is tighter, less messy and has a more pleasant marinara sauce that pairs better with its dough. Rosati's also reheats much better than IFP, so if you're going to have left overs, you'll be happier with Rosati's.

For the price: If you're not gaga for IFP's toppings and choices, I recommend Rosati's. However, you are getting approximately the same bang for your buck. The wings are better at IFP, however, so if you're including that with your order, IFP is better than Rosati's. This is a nickle and dime issue, so pick which you like better.

This said? Aurelio's is flatly a better pie on every level. Cheese, Dough, prep, customer service experience, cost, toppings. If you want the superior pizza in the north South Holland and South Dolton area, Aurelio's. But that is a personal take, and I'm more of a New York style lover than a thin crust lover, so take that with a grain of salt.

A particular note: Service is 3.5 here. Service experience has been very spotty. Depending on the server, curtness and rudeness are a possibility. Estimated wait times for pizza are rarely accurate (Add 15 minutes to any estimate). So, be aware customer service experience may vary.

this is the first time that I ever ordered Italian fiesta from this location let me begin by saying it will probably be my last. I ordered two large pieces and a perch dinner. The fish was burnt, not just cooked burnt. It was not even edible. I contacted the location and I was online over 30 minutes, I was told that they were busy and I continue to wait for this poor customer service. The customer service representative answered the phone. I explained that my order was unacceptable. There was no one available to address my concerns and I have pictures to show how bad the fish was, I will not be patronizing this establishment.

Went to this location 7/5/2024. I ordered a large sausage and cheese. When I got home all I had was cheese not a sausage to be found. If it was not for the fact that I live far away from this location I would have gone back. May sure you check your order before leaving.

The crust of the pizza is beyond thin, like it’s barely there. I would never again spend money on this pizza neither would I recommend it. Highly dissatisfied. Requested cheese and pepper packets, of course they were missing from the delivery.

This place is very unsanitary, the workers are uneducated very ignorant and it shows through negative interaction with customers and aweful food. I was insulted by one of the workers after spending over 50 dollars for 2 pizzas which I believe my order was purposely sabotaged because I mentioned the rudeness. This business needs better management ir shut it down. They also have a roach problem. They deserve ZERO stars.

This place once had the best pizza but now they use artificial cheese, quality of the food has declined so much not to mention Rude uneducated staff. I was there 5-5-2024 830 pm. When I ordered on the phone the chick with the long straight orange hair was as NASTY as she could be, the fat one bringing out the food tried when she answered the phone (I was there to pick up food in line observing) but the phone system was having issues so she kept having have customers repeat themselves, my order was all wrong and I believe it was done purposely because I got agitated with the rudeness and addressed it. Get some staff with ambition, character and goals. I definitely won't be coming back here because of the ignorant staff. Next step is letting the Better Business Bureau know about this horrible experience. Spent over 50 bucks with these jokers, never again.

My entire experience here was horrible. I ordered online at 8pm for pickup. When I arrived at there was a long line which is no problem I didn’t mind standing in line it’s was about 10 minutes wait. After speaking to the cashier and the manager i literally waited for my order for a hour and a half. I had to call for the manager multiple times and I kid you not I watched these people make the guy 4 spots behind me food twice and still didn’t get my food much longer after the person left.

Don't waste your time here!!!! I placed an online order at 6p. I was quoted a pick up time of 7:25p-7:30p. It is now 8:21p and they keep giving me the run around. I paid over $70 for 2 large pizzas. You'd think they'd give a shhh about their customers. I will NEVER order from here again!!! This is absolutely ridiculous! Finally got my food at 830p. If I could give them zero stars I would. I'd rather drive to the city than come to this location again!!! Ghetto, rude and very unprofessional! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I ordered an large pizza, half Italian beef the other pepperoni. Also included in the order French fries. My son picked up the order from this location because he lives nearby and drove to Chicago to deliver the pizza to my granddaughter and I. We received a pineapple and ham pizza with maybe 20 cold fries in a basket. I immediate called and explained we received the wrong order and would like it replace with what I ordered and a hot ordered a French fries, expecting more than 20 for the price. We received the correct order and NOTHING was offered an apology, a credit , maybe a couple pops, NOTHING. I asked for the manager name to file a complaint and was told nothing could be done, but to speak to two men ( Managers) at the 71th street location on Monday. Yes, my pizza was ordered over the weekend, I believe a Friday night. I’m explaining all of this because I chose not to call the managers, just never do business with this location. And make it a point to discourage others as well.

OMG their pizza has always been good since early 2000, I use to visit the restaurant on 71st Street until I found the Dolton location. Love both restaurants but not the one on 83rd Halsted. Too many in and out and kicking it with buddies and also they don't wash their hands after coming from outside. I canceled my order once. Will never go there again.

They messed up my order. And didn't offer any compensation or discount. I called in at 8pm got there at 10pm to be told my order was taken wrong. Then they wanted me to wait 20 more minutes for it to be corrected. But never offered an incentive to wait. Then took someone else's order and gave it to me.. (Yes I peeped that move). I had a long ride back home ahead so I took it but I won't be eating at that location when I come to town anymore 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

OMG! Over cooked and scorched pizza. I ordered a small cheese and sausage One hour and a half before closing. Haven't eaten Italian Fiesta in 6 years but late night hungers kicked in and they were the only restaurant open. I regret I made a bad decision to visit the Dolton location. I also wish I would have opened the pizza box on sight instead of waiting until I got home. I will never order pizza from this location again. The staff/owners don't care how their pizzas are presented to customers.
