Good store to get arts and crafts and many more things.
All the products have an old antique look to it.
I don't know how they can make a profit in the age of online shopping.
They need self checkout counters.

I like Hobby Lobby for several reasons, but #1 is their selection of model supplies. As a model railroad creator, having supplies handy is great

#2 is their picture framing service: very good selections, with very reasonable pricing.

I had an odd experience with a framing associate, but still placed my order. When I picked the order up on the 12th of October, I attempted to share my feedback with the framing department manager. Sadly, she was flippant, offered a one sentence "push off" reply, waved her wrist at me, then quickly proceeded to help another customer without fully acknowledging the feedback I shared. I was shocked by her response. I am very disappointed by the lack of customer service, time, and attention to a valid concern. While I am satisfied with my custom frame order, I thought it was important to let others know about my negative experience as it relates to customer service by the framing department manager.

Service is horrible, everybody there acts like they don’t wanna help you especially this cashier, we wanted to check the price for an item and she was really rude looks like she doesn’t want to work here . I’ll stick with MICHAELS and JOANN FABRICS were the service is excellent and always welcoming.

I love Hobby Lobby, their prices and products, but going there in the middle of July to see 3/4 of the store stocked with only Christmas was very disappointing. I mean I don't care if they do Christmas early in July but 3/4 of the store was a bit much the reason for the lower star rating.

The new location is fabulous! The store is so organized and they have great stuff at great prices. I was shopping for a bridal shower and found excellent quality decorations for good prices.

Utterly ridiculous! It's the first week of June and I am looking for summer, 4th of July, and pool party decor, but the whole store is full of nothing but fall, Thanksgiving, and legitimate Christmas decorations. We are more than 6 months away from Christmas!! I understand that retail is usually one season ahead, but capitalism is getting outrageous. I would have actually spent money here if there was anything remotely in season to buy. Do better.

I went into Hobby Lobby to find a canvas picture (05/25/2024). I can across a beautiful faux plant, reached for it, and I felt instant pain! I pulled my hand back to find a piece of glass sticking out of my hand. I pulled the glass out, but there was a small piece that I couldn’t reach and needed tweezers. I called for help and the curly hair kid was nice and empathetic, he sent me to Steve in framing to see if he could help. I waited for Steve, he acknowledged me, but continued to help his customer. A manager came over and asked me what happened, grabbed some wire cutters and alcohol pads. She tried to help and caused me more pain! She couldn’t get it out, my cousin came to the rescue and got it out painlessly. The manager walked away without a “We’re so sorry” or even a bandaid. Really?!?! I cut my hand because 2 broken bird figurines were sitting in the back of a shelf and I couldn’t see it!

I spend hundreds a year at Hobby Lobby. I love this store, but please acknowledge your wrong or make up for it! I didn’t cut my own hand! I had to drive home without a bandaid and in pain.

I usually go to Hobby Lobby in Naperville/Aurora and this has never happened.

I go to Hobby Lobby occasionally for sewing supplies. The notions are priced well, but zippers, for example, are flimsy compared to others. The biggest problem with the store is finding someone to assist you if you need help.

Rude, rde, rude. So tired of it. Get over it, leave it at the door or move onto another job..
You will get bad ratings when you have staff that is not trained properly and has an attitude about something unrelated to me and this transaction. It is not the only Hobby Lobby location Ive received disengaging reactions from workers. Do better in development and recognition HOBBY LOBBY. I just needed to say it so it's out there.

The Hobby Lobby in Downers Grove is an absolute answered prayer. I found 2 very good looking pillars and a heavy glass table for my living room it made an excellent cocktail 🍸 table and the Price was unbelievable awesome and VERY MUCH APPRECIATED AND AFFORDABLE. MICHAEL is an awesome friendly cashier too. They have a lot of Kool stuff in there.

I have been in this store 3 times in the last 10 days. It is very well stocked-great selection. My only hiccup is I stand in the checkout line (at least 5 people deep) longer than my time in the store shopping. There has only been one person on a register with several others walking around. Each time the lady at the register is friendly.

The employees are so rude! Asked a woman about some fabric I wanted to get; she had attitude and was treating me as if I was stupid just because I wanted to be polite and not use the bell (just cause I think that's really demeaning to the workers). She told me "if you actually read the sign on the table it says to just ring the bell so you should go do that" while I politely asked her if someone could help me out.
The girl that did help with my fabric was super nice though.
Going to the registers, all the employees were talking about either a worker or a customer in front of other customers, which I thought was super unprofessional. Just a horrible experience overall. Will not return and they should get an attitude check.

The store itself was neat and clean. Great merchandise and prices. Loved it, but only gave 3 stars because there were three women working by the cash registers, and they were rude, lazy, impatient, and just all together unpleasant! They made me not want to go back because it was really weird and awkward. They acted like we were imposing on them. This was on Saturday, May 27, 2023, probably between 5p-6p.

Came here to look for a certain product, wasn't sold, that's fine...then I get other items...while in line...i experience discrimination from one of the cashiers, she continued to make it more obvious in a passive aggressive manner that i was the target....and it's national hate day.. do better. Likely not coming back and actively discouraging my community to avoid this location.
