There’s always something creative to find for every artist and crafter. Please note: Some products have been replaced by different brands so watch for quality. They used to have “Iris” plastic storage bins, not anymore. They carry more of their own brands such as “Creatology” “Artist’s loft,” “Make market” and “Recollections.” If you know the quality of these specific products they can be a great bargain, but if you want a name brand you know of, you may have to shop elsewhere. Their framing department has always done a great job.

My most recent experience was in July 2024 and I found the staff helpful and surprisingly the service much less expensive than the previous purchase ($150 vs $250). More importantly, the store responded with kindness and understanding when I had made a mistake with the date on the needlepoint and needed to have them undo the framing so that I could correct it. Eric did it with courtesy and grace. Thank you much!

They did a great job custom framing some artwork I bought overseas. It's not cheap but absolutely worth it. High quality work! Will absolutely go there again.

As an artist, Micheal’s has unfortunately lost my respect due to all the Ai generated art they began selling. 👎🏻 and I shall not continue to support a brand that claims to support artists, but doesn’t utilize real work in their pieces

I usually like Michael's as a unique craft, hobby, and general decoration store, but you guys lost my business on this one. It's the first week of June and I am looking for summer, 4th of July, and pool party decor, but the whole store is full of nothing but fall, Thanksgiving, and CHRISTMAS. I know retail is usually a season ahead, but 6 plus months is too much.
Couldn't find a single thing in your entire store that could be summer decor, which seems completely counterintuitive to your actual customer base. I realize that store level management has no say over corporate policies, but please pass along the message that your customers don't need Christmas decorations in early June. Had to pull my business from you guys and purchase off Amazon instead. Bad business, y'all.

CAREFUL IF YOU ARE BUYING SEASON ITEMS. MAKE SURE YOU READ!
Receipt states 60 days to return. Nowhere on this receipt does it state the item is seasonal and needs to be returned before it hits clearance, like we know when that is.

The store is always clean. The girls at the register are usually friendly and helpful, but last time I went the girl made me feel like a nuisance for checking out. It was a one off, but body language, tone, and clarification are important for front end customer service. She rolled her eyes when I approached the check out because it pulled her away from something else she was doing, but I was ready to check out and it wasn't even a complicated sale. She just clearly didn't want to be there or she didn't want me to be.

You know, Michaels has a reputation for being THE PLACE for frames. Couldn't find a frame in the size I needed. So 2 stars. I hear they can custom make frames. But c'mon. They should at least have 1 kind of basic frame that comes in every size imaginable. Right? Right?!

I’ve always loved this location but today I got treated terribly by the sales associate. I went to buy an item made by Cricut. I called their customer service number to make sure they would price match and I was told yes. When I got to the register the original person was very nice and as soon as I mentioned the price match the other associate came up aggressively and started lecturing me on how they don’t price match and how will Michael’s ever make any money if they price match Cricut’s website. I did not argue but I did say okay and I left. There is always a nicer way of speaking to others and this store needs to be trained on how to deliver customer service. Sadly, they lost a loyal customer today.

It's smaller than the ones I usually go to. I would just use this place to pass time or if there was something small I needed. They have a good selection of certain products, but not the the extent of the bigger locations. I visit this one because I moved and this is the closest. But I sometimes have to make the longer trips to the other stores to get what I need.
However the employees here are still just as knowledgeable about their store as the others and always ready to help when needed! Also the slower pace make me feel less rushed! I can take my time.

Went into this Michaels location today to get the glass framed out on some artwork. The associate at frames, believe her name was Sarah, was incredible unhelpful and seemed confused that Michaels does framing. She also said flat out that she could not put the glass in because we got it framed out at another Michaels because that’s their competition. So rather than gaining a customer and business, she lost one today. We will not be returning, and don’t recommend getting something framed out here because the staff clearly isn’t trained well on how to do it.

Well stocked with craft supplies and a lot of fun to browse.
I wanted two pieces of matting cut for a picture. I was quoted 90.00. I then went to a different craft store in the area and was quoted 40.00 for the exact same thing. That is a huge overcharge and even 40.00 felt like a lot for what is basically two cut pieces of cardboard but 90.00. Ridiculous.

I went today to have a print framed in their custom framing department. I worked with Sarah and she was fantastic. She was extremely friendly, professional, patient, and knew what she was doing when it came to the esthetic parts of framing. Very pleased with the experience and 100% would recommend.

I shop here anytime I'm working on an art or craft project. The associates are very knowledgeable. If I'm having trouble finding what I need, they know exactly where to locate the items. Sometimes I get distracted by all the items they have in stock. Whether home projects, jewelry designing, artist's supplies, cake decorating etc. you'll find it at Michael's

Every time I leave the store I feel frustrated and crabby- which is a rarity for me. It is dirty, small and has many empty shelves. Hobby lobby on Ogden is so much better. I am a long time Michael’s customer so I come back once or twice a year in hopes it will be better-Only to be let down.

This was the farthest but Still didn't have different color box frames.. I needed walnut they only had BLACK. JUST WOULDN'T DO.. WHAT I WAS DISPLAYING NEEDED SOFTER COLORS. I ordered some supplies yesterday for in-store pick up and was pleasantly surprised. The girl on the front desk (I wish I had caught her name) was so friendly and sweet. I asked for some sewing machines and whether or not they even carry any, and she kindly pointed me in their direction. Very knowledgeable staff and quick checkout too. The store is stacked nice and neat and tire able to find exactly what you’re looking for.
