Dollar Tree

Stopped in to get a few items. Asked a young man where an item was. He told us what aisle and then a few minutes later stopped by to see if we found what we were looking for. Amazing customer service - unfortunately i did not get his name. And then there is LeRoy! He has the best and sunniest disposition! If you were having a bad day, it just got better. So thank you LeRoy and the man who helped us locate the item we were looking for. You made our day not to mention our shopping experience a pleasant one!

Went in today to shop for a few items with my little sister (age 10) and while she was looking at an item an older African American woman employee seemed very upset that she was grabbing an item for herself and straight up snatched it out of her hands and put it back on the shelves and let out a loud ufff with a horrible attitude and then she noticed me staring at her and tried to pretend like i didnt just witnessed what had unfolded, i dont know why she had such a problem, but this was extremely unprofessional and im also very upset that she had the audacity to snatch something out of a literal childs hands while being under supervision!

If I could have gave this store a Zero I would have I was there shopping with my kids and noticed the general manager was putting up Halloween. I made a comment to my daughter about something in the isle being nice and the general manager yelled at us she said I’m putting stuff up in this isle no shopping over me when we were just passing by didn’t even go down the isle . RUDE . But I won’t be giving that store business at all. I don’t patronize bad customer service . It’s not what you say but how you say it .

Wow, this place is clean, organized, neat, nicely lit inside. I'm going to stop using the one at 63rd/Woodward anymore it's an official pit and corporate needs to check it out.
Cashier was super friendly, and they had 2 registers open cause they are busy!

Been here multiple times and their bathrooms are “out of order” or they “lost the key” just say you’re lazy and don’t want to clean the bathrooms I’m tired of having to go to other businesses next door and use theirs.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at your store (Center, 7323 Lemont Rd, Downers Grove, IL 60516) on 6/7/2024, I visited your store to purchase a balloon for a special event. The balloon I purchased had a problem, which I returned once to refill, but it was no use and I planned to change to another one in my third visit.
However, I was met with rude and disrespectful service from one of your staff members. She (as I know she is the shop manager) rejected to exchange to me, and claimed I had to provide the hard copied receipt even I could show the payment proof in my bank app. Obviously, it wasn’t a big deal not to exchange a balloon with me if it is your company policy, but the problem is the employee in question exhibited unprofessional behavior by speaking to me in a condescending manner and showing a lack of courtesy. This type of treatment is unacceptable and has left me feeling disrespected as a customer. I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of the circumstances. The negative encounter I had has tarnished my perception of your company and has made me reconsider future interactions with your brand. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and address the behavior of your staff to ensure that other customers do not experience similar treatment in the future.

Omgggg I had bought chocolate 🍫 from here yesterday I was gonna save it for Thanksgiving but as I was opening one it looked old so I open another and another disgusting looking one I open the 3rd one anddddd I decided to turn it around and sawwwwww that in one of the chocolate jc check your chocolate before and eating and please do not buy no food from dollar tree if this is in the Chocolate imagine the rest omg

This has to be the worst staffed dollar tree I've ever been to. The employees are so rude to all the customers and I can't believe they are allowed to talk to people the way they do even with the customer being nice. It's a shame because they are close and convenient I'll shop at a different one from now that knows how to treat their customers with respect

The products are interesting in this location(in a good way), but when i approached this staff member in particular, an older, Caucasian woman with short hair, i absolutely did not appreciate her attitude. If you don't want to work there, don't. Work somewhere else.

The worker Gustavo is very unprofessional, rude, racist and unpleasant. He discriminate customers based on their appearance in special if they are women. That is disgusting select customers and if he doesn't like you he send you to the next cashier or he says I'm closed. He doesn't have any customer service skilss at all. Dollar Tree should put self check out and we don't need to deal with those kind of creepy workers.

I bought a bunch of small items to make baskets for an event. The cashier was outwardly angry and started making rude comments to the person behind me about how much stuff I had. She was throwing everything into bags aggressively to show me how mad she was, even after I apologized and tried to joke with her about it (which I didn’t have to do, I was spending money there and I have seen people buy more there). I did not leave because I had spent time choosing the items, but I should have just walked out without buying anything. She did not have a name tag and just stared at me when I asked for her name at the end. Definitely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

It was very busy today. They have stepped up their game in some of their products. I was really quite impressed with the Christmas selection. I love getting the little Christmas boxes to use Instead of wrapping everything.

The employee stocking shelves were openly bad mouthing customers they had previously dealt with. The person who rung up my items basically slammed each item into the bag. I know it's only a dollar but there's no need to treat the items like that. If you hate your job don't take it out on customers.

Shelves were well stocked and the social distancing was good. We found just about everything we were looking for and a few holiday ideas. Remembered to pick up foil pans for Thanksgiving after seeing them near the registers.

I couple years ago when I worked at Payless this location was my spot to go to on my break! I was always buying the big thing of tea PLUS those two of those 4 hour energy shots. I was a very fast mover at work haha.

Just left Dollar Tree in Lemont IL and couldn't find the item I was looking for and there were no employees on the floor. So, I knocked on the customer service door, only to hear "yeah, what do you want?" from behind the door. I said I need help finding an item", only to hear "who is this?". I said "a customer" Then I heard "If you can't find it, we are out!"

At this point, I told my daughter to put her items back and that we weren't going to buy anything from here. All of a sudden, 2 women walked out and one asked what item I was looking for. I said "don't worry about it, we are going somewhere else" and we walked out and will not return.

Terrible customer service
A sales associate named Jack open the register when there was a big line for the cashier I try to walk to his register once he opened he didn’t want to take me and he choose who to check out first
Secondly the person before me didn’t check all Of her stuff and I tried to bring that to his attention he didn’t answer after she paid I told him this is not mine and he stared at me looking with a very bad tone and attitude saying that he knows he kept shaking his head saying Jesus then when he checked out my stuff he throw them away on the other side with a horrible attitude I asked him about his name he rudely answered Jack I told him you’re getting a Complain for me he left and said sounds good

As others have said batteries are crazy cheap here, medicine can also be a very good deal and works as well as the name brands. You just have to know your stuff to know what is worth it and what is not, but the stuff that is cheap is very cheap. This particular store is always very clean and well staffed

This place usually has stuff that I'm looking for, but they're really busy so sometimes they run out. My review is basically for the customer service I received here (which I wasn't expecting). I called at around 10am on a Thursday morning and wasnt sure if anybody would pick, someone answered the phone (sorry I didn't get her name) and informed me that they do caret the item I'm looking for but they're out of stock. But then, after 2 minutes I received her call saying that they just restocked them and she wanted to inform me.

They have EVERYTHING!!! And literally everything is either $1 or 2 for $1!!! I can skip the grocery store or Walmart or party stores or Walgreen's all together!!! Love it!

I was not impressed by how the employees were going around with brooms and machines cleaning the floors while we were trying to shop. They repeatedly forced us to stop our shopping and jump out of the way and almost ran over my sons more than once. This is inexcusable and dangerous. That part of the cleaning should be done after they close when there arent customers everywhere. The only part of the experience that wasnt traumatic was the cashier was very nice and pleasant when we checked out.

Office and stationary products are brand name for just a dollar. Personal care products are excellent. Many groceries are brand name. Batteries are just as good as anywhere else for a fraction of the regular price.

Just went into this location and was so impressed with Laura’s customer service. She really went out of her way to help me with glasses I had to get for my bridal shower. She was so sweet, helpful and very professional. Hope she gets recognized for all her hard work and dedication she has to making customers happy! Thanks Laura!
