We found a magician of a cake decorator in Samantha at the Eagle bakery… a very special 80th birthday celebration needed a very special cake, and Samantha delivered a knockout! Not only did it look EXACTLY like the photo we provided (found it on the internet), it was also DELICIOUS! Thank you for your amazing talent and INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I have been going to this store for 30 + years, did shopping got cigarettes after being ID (over) 60 yrs old; it was brought to my attention my birth date was printed on the receipt. Where is my protection, that is all somebody needs to start identity theft on you. I never ask for a receipt but they always print one, I ask for it to be destroyed. First time I noticed my full birth date was printed right there on the receipt. I went to customer service counter young lady (brown hair, glasses), though this was humorous when I ask for supervisor number or corporate number she looks at the bulletin board by the phone and said yeah I don't see it. Ask to speak with the manger (11:58 am) and she called back to his office i guess and I was told at lunch and I could come back. How's that for customer service! So beware unfortunately eagles could give a darn about their customers private information. If they really need my personal information then don't print it on the dam receipt.

It seemed to be laid out ok. I was looking for first aid and the pharmacy section seemed to be split so not as easy to find as I hoped. Walked through to check out what else they had and it seemed like a solid selection. Not as big of a store as some others in town so the selection is going to be a bit smaller. But a nice neighborhood grocery.

This place is horrible. Credit card machines always offline, and they don’t put signs on the door to let you know. You fill up a cart and go to check out and the guy mumbles “cash only” and then tells me he’s not sure why they can’t have their credit card machines work ever

This store sucks now. Now they've locked the public restrooms. Their excuse. Vandalism. Don't believe them. All the times I've used the restroom there it was fine. Old people need to use the restroom. Plus eagles price gouge. So I told some friends I'd drive them to hy vee. Maybe we can shut eagles down. And get a decent store in there

Decent little grocery store.

I guess I was a little underwhelmed by the bakery options on a Saturday morning….they had some breads and cakes, but not much in the way of other bakery items. A lot of the offerings were purchased wholesale and stocked retail.

Very limited liquor department. Basically just well brands in plastic bottles.

I miss our Eagle down in Macomb so much. I’m happy to see the legacy lives on there. I know it’s not the same company anymore, just the name, but it’s good to see the owners of this store haven’t changed the store much. I soooo loved their bakery and meat departments. Miss the good ol’ Lady Lee and Harvest Day! :)

I easily found the items I was looking for. It didn't take long to get checked out. The store was clean and bright. The weekly ads have good deals. I'm glad there's an Eagle still around and that it still looks much like it did in the 90's & early 2000's. Its like a walk down memory lane and it provides a nice simple unique shopping experience. Thank you Eagle!

Aisles are clearly marked so it's easier to find what your looking for. Ask a worker on the floor for a specific item your looking for and they'll take you right to it. Prices could be a little lower but not to outrageous.

Bait and switch job, ad said "Office Admin Assist", turned out to be a cage cashier position. And, food prices are OUTRAGEOUS for many basics. This is the "got poor people over a barrel so effem" grocery store.

I like Eagle. It’s a manageable size, has a decent selection of products, and has a pretty good bakery and deli. The bakery makes a focaccia bread that shames anything from the local chain. It’s a terrific neighborhood market.

I like way they cut and package their meats riight in the store. The store clean and well stocked. It can be a little pricey, but they have good weekly sales. They also carry different items that other stores don't. The employees have worked there for many years. It is always good to see a familiar smiling face.

Been shopping here since I was a kid in the Quad cities. It’s nice to still have one store around at least they have the best bakery

Published 6 years ago

Review №44

Facts first. It's a decently clean and kept store, with helpful employees. It's local to the area, and that makes it the only full grocery in the area, leaving little choice to many, but if you can travel elsewhere, do it, save yourself some money by shopping some place like Hy-Vee. Yes, it's that over priced here, and that's pricing multiple items against several stores. You will spend more here for the same thing versus almost any place in town.

Review №45

Gross. I’ll go to HyVee, or Aldis.

Awful customer service. Went to check out grocerys totalling $40. Didnt realize i only had $24 on my card. I asked to void the order so i could go back and pick $24 dollars worth of grocerys. I went to check out again with only $20 dollars worth of grocerys. And my card got declined. I showed them it was a pending charge on my account. They couldn't figure out why them money was taken off my card in the first place..and didnt care. They basically told me to move along and call my bank to figure out the problem. I ended up using the $5 bill i had in my pocket to get some food cuse i was completely out and planned to make chili to last awhile. I couldnt imagine if i was i single parent or someone who was really struggling....being turn away like that.
