Mr. Quix Printing

Project: 120 copies of an event program, 2 sided color, proprietary graphics, text. The design and copy needed redesign as the original was too pixelated (designed by me on Canva, not scaled correctly).

Experience: Mr. Quix took on the project with little lead time, quick turn around, and a frantic Project Manager (me). He used his own expertise and experience to quickly fix problems that I didn't know existed, and find solutions for the project as a whole. He has excellent attention to detail, professionalism, and experience in design, typesetting, color, format, and of course printing.

Results: Perfection. Mr. Quix Printing saved the day.

If you're not highly skillful with design and typesetting, you might take your file to Jason like I did and pay a little bit extra for his redesign/formatting skills. This is a rare service in this industry, and it's so so valuable. Certainly, Staples can't do what Jason and his shop can do. So grateful. And the pricing is very reasonable!! High quality production! Such a relief. Highly Recommended.

I’ve had several projects printed here - Jason provides a high quality service at an affordable price & speedy turnaround time. I appreciate that he double checks the files/ formatting prior to printing & will alert you if there’s any potential issues

We couldn’t ask for better service or quality. Jason worked with us to design exactly what we wanted and created a fantastic final product. Our wedding invitations and thank you cards were perfect and created super quickly. 11/10!

After sending him my artwork, Jason provided me with a fair quote. He then requested that I send my artwork to him again (must've deleted my original email). He stated that he didn't "look close enough" the first time around and that my order would be $100 more than originally quoted. I ended up reworking my entire design to maintain the initial price.

He also neglected to inform me that he doesn't accept credit or debit cards as payment. He accepts check only. This order was supposed to be charged to a company card, but I ended up having to pay out-of-pocket. What a frustrating experience.

I really appreciate the price and service provided by Jason at Mr. Quix. My order was last minute and short notice, but he went the extra mile to take care of it for me. It was excellent.

I needed some printing done as I travelled in from out of town and tried to call the FedEx (Kinkos) number and the menu was so convoluted and time consuming I hung up. I searched for "Dubuque printers" and Mr. Quix was one that came up. I called, told the super helpful guy (Jason) what I needed and in about a minute has my order set up for pick up when I arrive. No transferred call - just right to a live helper - awesome customer service!!
