We had a GREAT experience here, especially for someone with a severe gluten allergy. Food was delicious (and very safe for me with a dedicated press for gf melts)! Staff was kind and welcoming as well. Would visit weekly if we lived with 30 minutes of this place. Seating is a bit limited but get it to go if there isn’t room to stay!

Best Panini's in the Midwest! AMAZING! Mouth-watering. Great selection to choose from or build-your-own sandwich! Mac n cheese also a build-your-own option, several sides to choose from, chips, fountain drinks, bottled drinks. Quick and Friendly staff. Clean and well stocked restrooms. Definitely, worth trying out for anyone passing through!

Ok...you guys. I don't even know where to begin. The sandwiches ate AHMAZING!!!! The staff was so friendly! Definitely a place to go for lunch.

Update** went back again today! We plan on stopping by every time we go to dubuque. This place is by far the BEST place to grab a bite to eat!!!!! Our baby was asleep this time so we couldn't sit and enjoy our sandwiches in shop. But they were great to eat on the road! Not too messy (depending on sandwich you got hahaha) but only downfall was my sandwich was missing veggies. They were pretty busy at lunch so I'm not too worried. My sandwich was still delicious! Can't wait to go back and get more!

The Farmer's Daughter sandwich is my favorite, but we haven't had a bad sandwich there. Also, try the sriracha ranch doing sauce! The pricing is more than fair for the quality and amount of food you get.

Did you know that have Quinoa and Rice Bowls!? I love this place! The ingredients are whole and nutritious with killer flavor combos! The only thing I would change is the location. It is a little difficult, due to traffic patterns, to get here but it is COMPLETELY worth it! Favorite lunch spot!

This was my first time dining in. The food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is fun and lively with a friendly, caring staff. Good music and service. Noticed staff speaking to some regular diners by name. Owner even came by to check on our experience and get to know us. Sign of a great place to be!

Great place to go if you have any form of allergies they can accommodate for it.

I cannot eat gluten or any trace of it and rarely can ever eat out and KM makes it possible for me to eat out and the sandwiches taste amazing my favorite is the mississippi queen!

Im from Clinton. This was my time here and I was very happy with my sandwich. I got The Farmer's Daughter sandwich. It was just what i was looking for. It was something different. When I come back to town, I will visit again. If you haven't been here I highly suggest it. You won't be disappointed.

The atmosphere, employees, and service were great. The food was so-so. Got half sandwich and Mac. Mac and cheese was kind of bland. Sandwich had fresh ingredients but nothing special about it. They were large portions.

This place was very okay. The staff was very friendly and polite, but the food was bland, and the cashier didn’t know how to make change. The bread was a solid 10/10, but everything else needed some seasoning. I was really looking forward to the mac-n-cheese, but none of us ended up finishing it or the soup because of how bland they were.

I highly recommend this place. A tucked back treasure. The sandwiches are amazing along with the service. This is a must if you are traveling through or a place to sit and relax and enjoy great food. They have a child's menu also.

Wonderful place, prices are amazing, best food for your money. Staff is well connected with the area and was happy to recommend places nearby. Incredibly clean eating area and bathrooms, and tons of decor. You will eat too much and you will not regret it. 5 stars but I'd give it 6 if I could.

Great sandwich, but man it took a long long long time to get 3 sandwiches and a bowl of Mac & cheese? I don't get it, there was a line, and lots of people, but that was well after we got there. We got there and no one was there? I hope they get it together, because I can't wait 20-25 minutes for a sandwich that takes 5 minutes to make, especially at a non-busy time?

I really love this Mom and Pop Shop. The owner is very nice, and she accepts customers how they are, she doesn't discriminate. This is what makes knockout melts one of a kind. They have great food and all of the staff members seem to like what they do If you're ever in Dubuque Iowa bypass all the other restaurants just to try this one.

My wife and I got two melts and some Mac and cheese. It came to 37 dollars. How on earth do you justify those prices. You make fancy grilled cheese. If and I mean if they were the best grilled cheese on the planet the price is still too high. They were not even close to a good grilled cheese.

Come one, come all, just come ready to eat! The staff is welcoming and incredibly helpful! The sandwiches are out of this world! Pick one of their signature sammie or make your own creations! Mother Clucker is outstanding; the Mama Mia is a whole 'nother level! I didn't even get to the mac'n'cheeses! I dare you to stop and not have a fantastic meal. Like I told the staff that day, "This is flipkickin' awesome!"

Sandwiches slightly small but honestly, it's the right amount of food for a reasonable human being. Wait times a bit long but that's the price you pay for it not being fast food. The sandwiches are good and I come here frequently. The sides could use some more love and personality. They taste no different than what you'd pick up from the HyVee deli.

Will give all 5 stars after they up their side game. Overall love this place as an option.

Delicious food with great service! I know folks who go out of their way when they come to town to have these sandwiches, they're that good. Add to that the tasty sides (love the dill potato salad) and rotating daily specials and you've got food that make you think of this place's food truck roots in the best possible way. Highly recommend.

I went there looking for Rock Salad and I settled for the melts. Everything LOOKED amazing but there was literally no taste or flavor with the sandwich or the macaroni and cheese. I literally tasted nothing and no don't have covid, taste and smell are just fine. I had to season my Mac and cheese and the chicken melt just tasted like they boiled the chicken in plain water. Appearance A+, flavor F-.

We visited today and we tried a sandwich melt, a grain bowl and a soup. Everything was delicious, super fresh and fresh the store was very clean. Very courteous service as well! Wish we would’ve had space to try their mac and cheese. They all look so good - I recommend that they offer a small tasting option of the different macs so that people can get a taste of each in smaller portions.

We will definitely return when we are back in town.

Great staff and service and food. We brought a group of adults with disabilities in for dinner, and the staff let us and helped us rearrange almost all of their seating to accommodate our consumers. They also asked for some tips on how to best accommodate others. They are a great community advocate for all!

Im celiac so I am always cautious eating somewhere new. We were on a roadtrip and found reviews that stated this establishment could make a gluten free sandwich. I called the restaurant first and spoke to Noah. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We decided to give it a try. Noah greated us. There were also two other young men working. The two non celiac in our group ordered the Mama Mia and the Farmers Daughter both said the sandwiches were fantastic. I had the Hula girl gluten free. Noah changed gloves and took necessary precautions. This sandwich was also very tasty. I wait a day before writing a review to ensure no issues. Our meal was very good and I had no reactions. Noah was very patient and answered all my questions.

Food was good, however I'd have to agree with another review I saw on here that the staff was not welcoming at all. We were not greeted at all(nobody else in the store at the time) and the person who took our order was very snippy. Our sandwiches were very good, but the Mac n cheese was pretty bland.

We drove here from watertown,wi and the food was absolutely amazing. Very fair prices. Only thing I can say is staff did not greet us at all. No smiles at all and no "thank you and have a nice day" when we left. I noticed it with other customers that came in after us. Work on those welcoming smiles and interactions with customers.

Sandwhich was good. i got ham, bacon, swiss, mayo, lettuce, and tomato and it was a decent sandwhich. wasn’t very hot but I think it was due to eatstreet.

Hash browns were decent, pretty much like any run of the mill cheesy hashbrowns you’d get at a cookout or make homemade at home, which i can definitely appreciate.

I also got the Mac N cheese…I was disappointed. it definetly looks and tastes like a boxed shells n cheese that was microwaved. I was hoping for a more authentic homemade style mac n cheese. it was very very bland and had WAY too much black pepper, and i’m a huge black pepper fan.

sandwhiches and cheese hash browns are definetly worth giving a try. it’s nice to support local businesses, especially if they have good food. I just would avoid the mac n cheese.

I had a sandwich called the bombshell. It was garbage. Zero flavor it was just boiled unseasoned beef roast and included maybe 3 ounces of meat. The only source of flavor was the pepper jack cheese. 60 dollars for 4 grilled cheese sandwiches and sodas.

I just saw the response wow should I really need to tell you that you made bad food you should know I would think. The flavor alone tells me you're not interested in putting a lot of effort in. I just wish I would have read the other reviews all the bad reviews I have now read were spot on.

Was ok at best. When I go out to eat I simply hope to get better than I can make at home. Sandwich was fine, they forgot the sauce, and precooked bacon.....come on, bush league. Mac and cheese was even more disappointing - mushy shells, skimped on the bland cheese sauce, again with the precooked bacon, topped off with old tasting pickled jalapeños. One star for the sandwich, second star goes to the price point. Overall, lacked any reason to become a repeat customer.

SO so good! My husband and I like to find new "go-to" places to eat and this is definitely the one for us right now! Delicious unique sandwich melts and we haven't found one that we didn't like yet! I was going to write an honest review but have seen how the owner responds to criticism. Very childish. I was in here recently got a large order and was severely disappointed. The chicken is chicken from a can they drained the juices from very dry. Just like the employees banter. Or lack thereof. I complimented the music playing and was met with silence. Then when i told the employee the fork and spoon dispenser was cool I was met with a stare and annoyed silence. But as the owner loves to say go somewhere else. And i will and will also tell anyone else who will listen to do as such. The one saving grace of this place is there grilled cheese. Which was ok at best. Either way will defenitley eat elsewhere from now on. Furthermore who ever staged the sandwiches for there photos did a great job mine looked nothing near that.

This place is nasty! Please save your money and go to McDonald's. The staff is rude and the food is bland. Thankfully i asked for extra containers of sirracha ranch which are mostly just sirracha or it would have been inedible. The sandwiches cost 9 dollars each! For something so gross I can't believe I paid that much! DO NOT GET CHICKEN anything! I got beef amd held it down, my husband made the mistake of chicken and couldnt eat it. The only safe thing here is the plain jane grilled cheese or the bags of chips they dont make. Good luck!

Great food at a great price. Staff was over the top friendly and willing to answer questions for a 1st time customer. Will be back and will recommend to others.

The food was good, however, 3 of the girls did NOT wear masks.
I felt like tossing the sandwiches away. The two boys where well covered.
