Sam's Club

I've bought a lot of meat at this store with good results until this beef brisket purchase. It must have been cut up by a newbee because after removing the 40% fat on it, you can barely tell the point from the flat. One cut looks like it was done during the slaughter process. This meat also had a tendon that wasn't on any other briskets I've trimmed up. The prices here are good but after this experience, I'm having second thoughts

Spent 2 hours shopping and 20 minutes in line only to have the rude cashier refuse to check us out because she didn't want to type in the member code. First time trying out Sam's club was literally a joke you can't do something as simple as take care of a paying club member. I will likely cancel my membership immediately.

Always come out of there broke, tired but happy with my purchases and savings. People that work there R always in a good mood and happy 2 help U out. Well, all except for Anne back in pharmacy. She has got a serious attitude problem. But their selections are always exactly what I didn't know I needed or wanted, but always happy I got. I do think that their carts could either B replaced or cleaned up. They're pretty gross and nasty. But all in all, we always renew our premium memberships, and there's always great reasons that we continue 2 do so!!!

Love sams club. But they don't always have the same thing as I bought the last time I was there ie...spaghetti seasoning. I spent enough money on everything else. But I would like it if they could just keep the good stuff. 👍

Purchased my membership online this morning before going. Stepped over to Customer Service when I got in to finalize my membership. I was assisted by Lisia who has excellent customer service skills. She was very pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable while being personable too.
There are of course items you find in the grocery store but in bulk. Deals to be found.
We had a quick lunch at the Café. Hot dog and a drink for $1.58, 2 slices of pizza $2.50, big pretzel $1.
Parking was sufficient. Easy access.to the location.
Look online for membership deals. Mine was buy a 1 year membership for $45 & get a $45 shopping credit.

Great selection at the store and you can order online for shipping directly to your home; if you are a plus member, shipping is free when you spend a minimum amount. When shopping in-store the checkout line can be skipped by using the Sam's Club app to scan-and-go (and sometimes there are opportunities for additional scan-and-go savings). Another option is to shop online for pickup at the store (the pickup parking spots are clearly marked). You can return your cans and bottles directly to the service desk in the store to get your deposit back.

Employees gathering around a friend or family member that stopped in, while completely disregarding the 3 lanes of customers that were patiently waiting over 5 minutes to be acknowledged because the checked screen said they needed “assistance” before they can check out.

The employees need to be trained on how to weigh out the meat; they include the packaging in the total weight, which is illegal. I got 5.01 lbs of burger, and it came out almost 4oz under on my digital scale, so I included the package, and it came out to what the label said.

Have you ever tried to call to speak to a service member at this location? (about mattresses in this case) Don't hold your breath. This is based on several years, multiple times calling about products or services (tire service). They are the worst store when it comes to trying to get an employee for information. Is it management?

Not an amazing membership for a single person, but they have an amazing selection of produce, a ton of bulk frozen food. If you've got a chest freezer and space for the bulk products, you can probably save lots of money and stock up on food. Their selection of home goods, automotive products (besides tires, batteries, and windshield wipers) and a few other categories are too random to count on as a good store for certain items.
Overall, the frozen food, cleaning supplies, liquor, and pharmaceutical products are going to be the most beneficial areas for the average smaller family.

Today 2/13/24 my wife and i went to purchase a cooked chicken and when we approached to chicken the employee behind the counter said in a rude tone "the chicken was all fresh" which was a lie becuase the chickens have the time they where made or fresh out the oven. We like to get the most recent chicken because as a customer i have the right to do so. Then when i told the employee why he lied to me and i wasnt even asking him anything he got beligerent and rude and said that i could either take it or leave it. Also he challenged me to a fight. I hope management takes action in this matter because that employee does not have any customer skills and apparently doesnt like his job

Literally have tried calling the store 2 days in a row to extend my order pick up because of being sick. 13x and all of the calls resulted in being hung up on, getting an error message that the number is no longer in service, now my order is canceled and I can't pick it up today which is when it was needed. I'm sick, I don't want to get others sick! The more time and money I spend here, the less I like this place. Would think it would be the opposite. I'm pushing for their competition to come in and do it RIGHT! They've lost their mojo for sure.

Can't shop before 10am unless you pay $110 to be a plus member. So regular members that don't know this spend time going to the store and shopping, only to be told at check out they have to wait until 10am. Stupid to turn away paying customers.

Cafe, went to the Cafe ordered the brownie sundaes, they were out of brownies, then ordered plain, there was a hair on it when I went to complain the gal told me that I put it there, pizza was left on the counter to get cold before I was told it was mine, gal was ruse and unfriendly.. not recommended..

I was just at Sams in Dubuque and had the nicest employee help me out, Salaman was his name and was working back by the freezer section. I couldn’t find what I was looking for and he took me to the spot and they were out of what I wanted. He went into the freezer and found some for me. I really appreciate that he went above and beyond.

Ordering curbside is awful. When I completed my order and checked out it told me I could add items I may have forgot. When I tried there was no where to do so. Tried getting help from employees but it took forever to even get through to curbside and then when I finally did they told me I could just put in another order so no help at all. And I'm not about to put in another order and get charged the fee all over again especially when I already spend so much money at Sam's and often! It should be that when you spend so much there's no fee!

I'm a longtime Plus member and I wish that Sam's Club would offer more Vegan options! A couple of years ago, they would have a few items in the frozen section but now...NOTHING! I shouldn't have to go to Walmart and Natural Grocers and buy my Vegan foods when I have a credit card with Sam's Club.

This is why I didn't give them 5 stars. I HATE the fact that when I use self-checkout, People are watching me scan my items! I hold a Black credit card with a nice limit! Please do not watch me, I can buy whatever I may need in this store!!!

Todo estaba bien, pero no quiero que por una sola persona este negocio tenga mala reputación, ya que acudí en varias ocasiones sin tener problema alguno, pero en una de esas ocasiones me atendió una persona que al parecer tiene algún cargo y el problema fue el idioma, pero no por ese motivo creo haber merecido el trato que se dio por parte de dicha persona, se comporto de una manera descortez e incluso me levanto la voz al grado de que otra persona que se disponia a pagar se ofreció a ayudarme al darse cuenta de la forma de comportarse de el americano, pero ni así bajo el tono de su voz, le puse un texto en inglés del traductor de mi celular y le dije textualmente que si estaba enojado porque me estaba levantando la voz, pero el dijo que no era verdad, pero si fue verdad, por lo que exhorto a todos a que cuando acudan a este negocio tengan cuidado, no todos los empleados son iguales y a pesar de todo Sam es un buen negocio.

Call the night before to see if they had a certain item. Lady said Yes. I asked do you price match other Sam's Club? Lady said Yes. She also said we have at least 30 of them. I said great. Drove an hour to get item and of course picked up more stuff. At check out the price was higher, and ask Lady about price matching and she said No we never do that. If I would have been told that the night before when I called never would have traveled so far. Thanks Sam's Club Dubuque.

Came in for beef tenderloin seen some had sell by date 2/1 asked associate when/if they mark them down he said yes 1 day before sell by so I went in today grab 1 with sell by 2/1 asked same associate to mark it down per conversation the week before he literally took it and said we are no selling this. you can buy another one. How I see it they are hoarding the better deals for them selfs and dude was on phone doing nothing i called management Ryan basically did nothing as well forget sams club

Quality products, the employees are well trained very welcoming, and make shopping there a a very enjoyable experience. Would have given it 5 starts had I not gotten some slightly expired Meat and wilted Fruit a short while ago. Otherwise I have no complaints about this store.

The store itself is ok, average food, they have what I typically buy. So theres that. The reason this particular store is terrible, is because the people they post to try to sell you something or “talk to you about your membership” are so aggressive and rude. Like I just wanna buy tea leave me alone.

What happened to my old Sam's club? Currently Sam's club is just a big discount box store. It's not personal anymore no more specialty items like swedish meatballs. It just feels like a different place now. I'm not that anxious to return. I prefer Walmarts now 💯

Absolutely the worst location I have ever been to, not sure why every employee you see is up front just standing there, refuse to help in any way. Staring you down as you pay, never felt so low while shopping. They really need some leadership in this area, adding unwanted stress to already hard times.

Robert in the Meat departament was very helpful in choosing an excelent cut of Meat for my families favorite stew. Outstanding customer service. And Emily went out of her way to help me find an ítem. Thank you Sam's.
