Seattle-based coffeehouse chain known for its signature roasts, light bites and WiFi availability.
I have been to this Starbucks in the Safeway in Annapolis quite a few times. Each time was worst than the last. I do not mind tolerating attitudes, but I do have a problem when my order is not made correctly nor am I given the correct proportions. I had ordered a grande white mocha, and by the time I got home, my coffee was a bit cold. I take the lid off of my coffee to heat it up in the microwave, and I find that the grande I had ordered was clearly not filled up.
Additionally, each time I have gone to this Starbucks, all but 2 employees that I’ve met have given the worst customer service. I have worked as a supervisor at Starbucks, and while it can be extremely busy and difficult in terms of orders and customers, it’s another thing to have a blatant disregard for customers’ orders.

My understanding is that Starbucks is a "coffee shop." The way that this concern first made its name was by engaging in various for-profit coffee merchandising activities in Seattle Washington. Having gained popularity, Starbucks then expanded and branched out in their offerings. Starbucks also extended its reach by opening outlets throughout the US. Currently, Starbucks offers a wide variety of delectables, beverages, specialty coffee beans, containers, etc. Right? Still, Starbucks achieved its success selling coffee with a capital "C." Honestly, this is pretty common knowledge.
I asked for a large, grande, astronomical, colossal, or what have you, dark roast coffee at the Starbucks in Safeway the other day. After some delay, the attendant stated that they "did not have any dark roast."
"Well, make some, please," I replied.
The associate plodded around a bit and finally replied, "We don't do that."
My response was, "You don't do what, make coffee? This is Starbucks, isn't it?"
The Starbucks employee readily agreed that indeed the shop was a Starbucks.
"I dont understand," I replied. "You make a wide variety of beverages here. Can I order a Trenti iced coffee, 12 pumps sugar-free vanilla, 12 pumps sugar-free hazelnut, 12 pumps sugar-free caramel, 5 pumps skinny mocha, a splash of soy, coffee to the star on the siren's head of the cup, with ice, and double-blended?"
The employee stated, "Yes, of course I can make that for you."
Incredulously, I asked, "And you will not make me a lousy, stinking large cup of dark roast coffee? My ridiculous iced coffee order will probably take 10 minutes to manufacture, and the line-up will be out the door; yet you will make that??"
I begged, "Please, pretty please with sugar and spice on top, make me a large, grande, groß, 大的, or whatever we need to call it, COFFEE."
"We don't do that," the attendant stated flatly.
And so the day was theirs. I did not, could not, purchase a coffee. I was disuaded, prevented even by the coffee shop employee, from buying a coffee.
FLASH!! Starbucks (in Safeway) employees do not know that they work in a coffeehouse and that the main service is MAKING COFFEE FOR CUSTOMERS.
Amazing. Truly amazing.

Service is always good. They make drinks a little differently at this one than other ones I go to so I hesitate what to order. I will ask how they make them first. The " medicine ball" just tasted like water at this location. I have not heard them ever say they were out of something though.

New barista's are rude and overcharged me because they were on a power trip. Tagged pastries while i waited to have my order taken. Also, they were extremely demeaning to thier female coworker. There're plenty of Starbucks worth driving to in the area. Avoid this location. Train your barista's better.

The batista was rude from the time she started taking my order. She had the attitude that I was bothering her. I ordered a Venti Mocha, which comes with 2 shots of espresso. I asked for 1 extra shot of espresso and to make the drink 2/3rds decaf. She said, "ok", then took my payment. I got my drink, looked at what was written on the side, and it indicated 1/2 decaf. I pointed out the mistake that was made. Her response was, "I don't know how to do that". I was surprised because when she took my order, she said, "ok', as if they would make what I ordered. If I hadn't noticed the mistake, I would have never known. Some people, like me, are sensitive to caffeine, which is why I only wanted 1 shot of espressoto be caffeinated. Some people cannot consume caffeine at all for health reasons. Baristas should be cognizant of this and realize the the impact that caffeine can have on some people.

Went here at 7:40 p.m and the barista said she couldn t make us a drink because she had already cleaned up. Maybe you should change your hours to reflect an early closing and not 8 p.m very unprofessional

This is the worse starbucks to get coffee from. They never make it right. Sucks because its convenient, but im not wasting my money there anymore. They must hire people who have never made coffee before in their life.

Located inside of a Safeway grocery store, this tiny Starbucks is a kiosk location. The barista, and I use that term loosely, let me know that she would have no trouble with my order. She made twice as much as she needed to and when dumping it in the cup, spilled more than half of it on the counter. Not only did she not do light ice, but she poured skim milk rather than the whole milk that I requested. Rather than re-make the drink, she handed it to me. The cold brew from here is the most bitter beverage that I have ever experienced - cutting it by with with milk did very little to save it. Not worth the time or money to stop here again.
