The Restaurant Store - Capitol Heights

I went to buy an oven today and one of the workers changed the price for the oven to a higher price and when i had asked for the original price he said he couldn’t check as he had removed the price from the one that i was buying which was the original price to the price of another one that is not a way that you treat one of your valued customers we usually go to this location either once or twice per week this is not an acceptable behavior from the worker, I hope that the manager can check and also put more attention to what their coworkers are doing.

Terrible service from the cashier Miranda C. We are customers of this place, we come up to three times a week and we have never been treated like today. They should take action on the matter regarding the service they provide before losing a customer like Sardis.

The Restaurant Store has been my go-to place since I found out they existed in August of 2020. Customer Service and prices are way better than Restaurant Depot. See yall in a couple days lol

Hello everyone I am a new member at this store this year about 2 month maybe or less I experience a bad day today i when to the store to buy a paper towel dispenser and paper towels to go with it so the one that I wanted showing on the display rack they didn't have anymore or the paper towel to goes in it so they took me to the front and let me use the computer to ordered online so when it was time for me to go pick the item up a 2 or 3 day after they had the paper and the dispenser but the dispenser was the same one was on the display rack with scratch mark on it and had no screw no key kit to put up or to open the dispenser. This is the first and last I be a member here.

I would ordinarily give this store a much better rating but lately I’m beginning to wonder where they are getting their employees from??? They are not the previous customer service friendly staff I had grown accustomed to.

I hope you all re-examine hiring criteria, we as customers can take our money elsewhere!

Ridiculous store policies (can’t return sealed, unused items, 25% refund charge). And you’ll find 4-5 workers sitting and doing nothing when you enter.

First, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly helpful - EVERY time I have come in. The store has almost everything you could ask for too (speaking as an amateur who has had to plan events). I highly recommend this store.

The manager is very disrespectful and not good customer service. I bought all of my equipment and tables from them not even 6 months and they Constantly breaking down or go in bed or falling apart. All I get is a lot of run around from management.!

Everyone there is outstanding. A special shout out to Ham and Chris who are always the best when it comes to assistance with any of my questions as I always direct my technical questions to them. I am thankful for this location! If only they sold perishables I would never go to restaurant depot!!!!

Never knew this place existed. Pleasant surprise to find some restaurant grade equipment for the home. Cost a bit more if you're not a member but still better than paying shipping and handling ordering online. Everybody I Matt working at the store was friendly knowledgeable and helpful

So happy I finally bit the bullet and walked into this store. Staff is beyond friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. EVERYTHING I need was right there and staff was able to direct me. First impressions are lasting impressions, and I have tossed my restaurant Depot card in the trash. This is my go to!!!!

With a membership prices are good, without one, prices use to be good as well. However maybe do to inflation covid, or whatever, prices are high.

I was amazed at the customer service. From the moment I walked in I was greeted asked if I needed assistance. They knew where the products were and made recommendations. The line had gotten longer and a cashier ran over to open another register. Once my transaction was complete the cashier asked if I needed assistance carrying my items to my vehicle. As far as products they have everything you need for parties large or small a go to spot for restaurant and business owners. The prices without membership are great! But with membership you save even more. I also like the fact that if you don’t want to buy a case of an item they sale them as separate items as well. I will be back.

Love this place! As a restaurant owner going to supply stores is sometimes a necessary evil and dreaded experience - coming here never is. I make weekly (if not more) trips here and it's always an amazing experience.

When I walked in last week and one of the employees says "oh, hey Gregg, I almost didn't recognize you with a haircut" it is a next level experience.

Their online ordering and express pickup is super convenient and the fact they help you bring out your purchase and load into your car really sets them apart.

Highly recommend The Restaurant Store to anyone I can.

My first time in a restaurant supply store and I must say I was EXCITED! I only came to purchase one item but ended up being in awe of the many items I could use in my home and my side gig event decor. I will definitely return as soon as it's safe to again have events that require my decorator talents...and The Restaurant Store will also definitely be part of my event decor.

I love the store and the customer service is outstanding. I'm like a kid in a candy store everytime I'm there. The employees are very courteous, they greet you as you walk in, also they ask if you need help. I've met Rachel and Marco and so far they've been very pleasant, not that the other employees are not. I've told everybody about this store, I even bought customers here, and they love it too. I'm not going anywhere, lol. I'm a valued customer now.

Came to this place just to look around due to a recommendation from a friend of mine and let me tell you, it was amazing! The manager (Miguel) and sales specialist (Edwin) greeted us and took us around. He showed us different options for our restaurant and definitely helped us out more than expected. Will come back again for sure!

They were quick sufficient and helpful with directing me to areas I needed to be in. My only complaint was I was overcharged $75 but the clerk that run me out caught the mistake came out to my vehicle asked me to come back into the store and corrected the mistake and I was thankful for that because I didn't want to get all the way home balance that receipt and see that I was cheated out of $75 so other than that I had a great experience with them and everybody's entitled to a mistake especially if they correct the mistake themselves so I had a pretty good experience I use them pretty often and I will continue to use them.
