I swear there's not a genuine 5 star. Thats just staff turn over giving 5sto boost the shop. Poor customer service, unorganized, and the staff all the way to management don't really enjoy video games or those who play them. Will neglect phone calls and will sell you games for metrics and not because you'll enjoy them. This spot has been a problem for a long time. No one should work anywhere they don't want to be or at baseline enjoy. They say when you do something you love and every work I can understand they're being bad customer service experiences as far as rowdy customers but there's no excuse to just be there for a check .It bleeds into everything else. Gamestop I love the company but dislike this specific location. Bring back staff that enjoy gaming, familyor have a family , and community that they love and embrace. Not people that so happen to be in a community due to their job at a game store for discounts. There's a difference, PEACE.

Horrible customer service! Can't tell you what the person's name was because they didn't introduce themselves. I wasn't familiar with the process,I was there to sell a phone and she was not interested in providing me the information that I needed. I would never recommend this location. I got the impression that they weren't interested in having conversations with adults.

Literally everytime I have to call Corporate because a store won't honor the policy this store honors the policy. It's crazy I have to always go to this location specifically for that reason but I'm thankful for them

Online opening hours - 10 am. Posted opening hours - 11 am. Sitting here at 11:30 am (hour waiting)and gate still down. No one at district or corporate answering phone to tell store is closed. Line outside wondering if location is shut down and we should leave?

Update: After over an hour on hold was able to get to corporate office. The opening person was running late. Store was great, clean, and very friendly and helpful staff (he deserves a raise.) But the fact that corporate and district are not accessible when something like this happens is seriously problematic .

The new manager lied and said that purchase was necessary to obtain a "free" pokemon code. She clearly hasn't been there long because I've picked up codes for years and never had to buy anything. She's literally stealing from people and her story doesn't make sense. Any other ganestop I never have had this problem

This Gamestop have been a great experience, substantially from the help from DeShawn. He has assisted me and a few friends with many preorders and some game suggestions i wouldn't thought of. The times i notice, he kept the store organized and updated new releases. Vast costumer service over all. Demonstrates qualities of a foreman

Although the store is small, the employees are happy to help and go above and beyond to explain different games and systems. What good patience they have with their customers. I would definitely revisit.

The Worst GameStop in the Area, the employees are not knowledgeable in Videos games at all, u can tell they just read game informer and whatever article GameStop sends them, they will also cheat u out of ur money was offered $80 for my 1 Tb Xbox one S but it was traded in as a 500GB, so went back to get the correct amount for what I was trading in, and was then offered $40...... why u might ask, Because now the controller needs to be cleaned. This GameStop is very shady and needs to be retrained or shut down. And GameStop wonders why it’s stores are going out of business, it’s because the employees and managers don’t care about the customers

I brought a used PS4 and take it home plug everything up... Start playing the game for 5 minutes then the system start to overheat and turn off more then 4 time... Please check to make sure the system working good b4 taking it home.

The associates are SUPER NICE & helpful. It was after closing & my husband & I we're shopping. The associates were super nice. We didn't even know they were closed until the woman helping us offerd my husband to bring his game back to the store because he needed help to get it out of sorry mode. Thank you Forestville Game Stop! We bought Overcooked 2 & Tom Clancy's The Divsion 2.

The good reviews must come from friends and family because these are some of the laziest workers with zero knowledge i have ever met in my life. I called yesterday to inquire if I could bring my daughter's broken iPad into their location to be replaced as I bought a 2 year warranty that states that if it breaks they will replace it. At the time I thought I misplaced the receipt and they said it would.be possible but would take awhile I said that was ok and I did not mind waiting. Fast forward to today I come in and after remembering I found the receipt as well as the warranty policy number in my email so that we can get the process started. I knew that we would not walk out of the store with a brand new iPad as they would have to order it but the employee that "assisted" me proceeds to tell me before I even show him a receipt that even with me having all the necessary information it will still take over an hour to process as I didn't purchase the iPad at this particular store. I told him i did not mine because I paid for the warranty so I will wait. He asks if he can finish up with the other customers and I said sure.(mind you there is another employee there just standing around like he doesn't know which way is up) so when he finishes he comes to me asks to see the iPad and the receipt. I produce both and then he says because he cannot unlock the iPad because the screen is broken as well as the home button he cannot verify the gigabytes (eventhough the receipt says how many there are) there's nothing they can do. After some push back he calls someone on his personal phone that I presume tells him to tell me to call customer service instead and gives me the number. I call and speak with a very lovely woman who was just as confused as to.why they didn't do it in the store because through customer service takes a lot longer to get a replacement. She was very apologetic and offered me some solutions which I decided on sending it back to them myself and they reimburse me the shipping fees after I fax them the information. This store is very unprofessional and should properly train their employees or be shut down. No real attempt was made to help resolve the issue. Not even suggestions of other places that could better assist me. This person was lazy and just did not feel like doing his job. I would advise to.not.go.here unless you are desperate

The manger at this game stop is so disrespectful. She had a problem with me asking for the owner of the store name and phone number to report her. She treated me like I was not welcomed in the store all because I was looking around to long for a particular game for my husband and didn't want to call him because I was getting it for him as a surprise. She was so nice to the men in the store that day but made me feel like I was going to steal something. Asking are you going to buy something or keep looking at the empty boxes. I dont understand why she kept coming over to me informing me that there were no games in the boxes I kept looking at. She needs to be retrained on customer service because I felt very uneasy in this store.

The staff there was very friendly and helpfull. They answered all of my questions. Very please with this store, I like the one in Penn Station too but this particular location had my thrustmaster wheel.
So I go in and purchase it so I can start Sim racing on the iRacing platform.
Tell me why I read my receipt (which I never do) and I had got a free iRacing membership for a year ya'll. Not 1 month trial, not 3 months. ONE WHOLE YEAR HELLLLLLL YEAHHHHH

Then they had my sim rig hiding. Thank God I dont have to order it.
