Yeah.... not efficient at handling a crowd... who knew morning was a popular time for coffee? Not this establishment.

Not only is the line long, it’s barely moving. I’ve been here so long that I might just invest in a sleeping bag. 🏕

Great full service Starbucks to grab a quick drink! Even with it being busy- the service was quick! The lobby next to Starbucks has tons of seating to enjoy while drinking!

While the service is fine, the lattes always seem to taste burnt. I usually go to Starbucks because the coffee is consistently decent (not the best I've had, but certainly drinkable and better than what a lot of chains offer). This is the only location that has been consistently mediocre and after three inferior lattes, I've decided to stop visiting this location (inside the GM Renaissance Center).

Ivory dumped part of my drink out because she forgot to put the cold foam on top. It should be a darker color, but the espresso was mostly dumped out!

I was charged $599.63 for a large frozen coffee and a medium coffee and they don’t know how it happened from what they say management was very helpful but all they said was they THINK it will be refunded in two or three day and call back if not

I’m not a normally a Starbucks guy but the staff here was excellent. Especially the cashier who got me the reindeer cake pop. I’m claiming this is a top 5 location in the country. Cheers

Normally I go to Starbucks because of the consistent service and their drinks always come out the same. I was really annoyed at this particular Starbucks that the baristas didn't seem to care about customer service. To be fair the drinks were the same as any other Starbucks that I have gone to but the service was just terrible. For being in the Renaissance center I was surprised that the standards were so low. not only were they rude right from the gate but when I asked if they could fill up my water bottle they said no. at every other Starbucks I've gone to, the baristas have happily filled up my water bottle and I feel like it is the least that they could do after paying almost $6 for a latte. If you are staying in the Renaissance center I highly recommend that you just go somewhere else for coffee. Ignore the convenience, it will be worth it to go somewhere else.

Lots of people behind the counter just chatting. When order was ready server put it on the counter mumbling what it was. More than $10 for 2 mostly ice Mocha Fraps. It was like drinking a coffee flavored la croix. Extremely disappointed.

I called to obtain a receipt from this Starbucks and spoke with an employee named Raven. She is the MOST RUDEST PERSON in the world!! I asked to speak with a manager and told her that she was not helpful. She said that I did not have to speak to her that way, what way????? Then she hung up, really??? I called back, no answer, then I called Corporate! Unbelievable!!!

Very clean and spacious. Somehow always has esthetic looking people working there and patronizing it as well. Its interesting phenomena. Its either coffee makes people look and feel good or good looking and well feeling people are attracted to coffee.

Stale. I love Starbucks coffee, but at these prices I demand better service. This place does not honor coupons nor feel warm or friendly. It is too bad, too because it is in a primo location in the Detroit Renaissance Center.

Great service, my drinks are always prepared quickly and they are still hot by the time I get back to the office. I have received luke warm drinks from other locations so I can appreciate getting hot drinks. I would definitely recommend visiting this Starbucks.

Awesomatic quick stop in RenCen. The location on the lobby of Marriott and they hanging balconies are beat place to hang out with a cup of Starbucks.

Starbucks sends coupons to redeem on your birthday. This store told me that they do not honor those. How am I supposed to know that? I only find out after I have been in line a long time. Why wouldn't they honor them? They are a Starbucks store. I don't understand how a company can get away with these promotions that they do not honor. Very poor customer experience Starbucks!

I have probably one of the most challenging drinks to prepare, and this particular Starbucks (near the Skywalk as you enter into the General Motors headquarters) each and every time that I've been in this establishment my drink has always been on point and I would know because I've been drinking this drink for over 10 years

I don't go to Starbucks often so I was really surprised at how fast the long line that I usually see moved and everything was made well! I had the egg and bacon bits this is not the correct name I just can't remember the name as I couldn't pronounce the name but they were really good and filling for them to be so small.

I hate being ignored! Three employees talking amongst themselves look at me say nothing and continue talking, Awesome! So unprofessional and unwelcoming!
I would have given a one star but the product was good and consistent with other Starbucks.

Staff was polite and friendly.

Tables unwashed. Tables remained unwashed even when there were no customers and the staff had time to stand and talk. Cream/sugar counter same. Goodies under glass had the look of slapdash arrangement. All glass was dirty.

This location can get crazy busy on football weekends. It seems that everyone has the same idea to grab something quick before heading to the stadium... which makes things not so quick. Very friendly and professional staff though.

Standard Starbucks fare. Insane lines at all times of day. One would think that a location serving the huge RenCen population would have more capacity, but even at 3pm you can expect a 20+ minute wait. The addition of an express lane for people just wanting brewed coffee would be nice. A competitor offers this at the GM Tech Center and it is much appreciated.
