Dollar Tree

Other than Steven, the guy working the cash register.. was the ONLY employee WORKING the register while 3 females employees and 1 male employee, allowed the line to reach the end of the aisle. Several customers got out off line because it was too long. And it still was about 20-30 min wait there was only one register being occupied out of several. When I asked the other male employee did he work there? He said yes, but he’s not working the register today and quickly walked off. The other employees acted as if they were busy.. ain’t that much stocking in the world!! However, Steven was very patient and professional. I know his name because I asked. I also called the store to speak with management but the lady that answered paused then nonchalantly said the manager isn’t there. I’ll keep trying! In the meantime, I hope this review reaches the manager/owner. I’d be very disappointed if this was my establishment. The lack of care and concern the other employees showed is inconsiderate, unprofessional and disgusting. 12/9/2024 at pproximately 2:30-3:00.

Male cashier was cool, but talks entirely too much to certain customers who are probably lonely and don't get much contact or they love to talk. I don't know how anyone can find anything in this store. Most shelves are in disarray. Looks like a disaster.
Also, I didn't appreciate one young lady acting agitated like she couldn't stand to be in front of me. I didn't bother her in any way and I kept my distance. She's the one with the issue, not me.
Some people just can't hold their ignorance for two seconds. Why go outside if you're so scared?
In conclusion, I will not shop at this particular Dollar Tree. It should be closed indefinitely.

I have been to the store when his first open and as usual when stores first open they are clean and fully stocked that has been over a year and a half ago when I went last Friday the shelves have been completely ravished there was very, Little stock on the shelves especially in the health and beauty I’ll there were literally only about 20 toothbrushes on the shelves mostly little children’s I didn’t expect for the store to look like it did but out of all of that the associates were very friendly and helpful. At least the bathroom was clean.

It’s always horrible when I come here they’re never open on time and then they’ll put temporary close on the door for whatever reason staff is very unprofessional. Corporate really needs to come down here and see how the store is being handled.

Messy store but the staff is ok. I just wish they had time to clean the place. Hiring a stocker would improve this place. The stock person should be asked to not only stock but mop and clean doors and windows. Plus please get the bums from outside begging.

Customer service is slow, when asked was hiring the manager responded with there is a waiting list. Meanwhile all items where bagged together and doubled bagged. Not a friendly place and the lines are long. Experience rated a 1 star because of the service as far as the Dollar tree they have great items and if help was hired they would probably be able to put more out on the shelf and better service the community. Food for thought.

I try not to shop here if I can avoid it. This place is always a mess and is never stocked well. I went today just to grab some napkins and noticed that they now have items from $1.25 - $5. Some of the isles are marked "Dollar Tree plus more." It's not worth it anymore to drive the extra distance when I can shop the discount stores near my home.

On more than one occasion, I have stopped at this Dollar Tree and it was closed earlier than the stated closing time. I guess they are having staffing issues. Smh. Now, I just drive pass this one and go to the one on Beech and six mile

Shut this place down and I mean neeeow: store is in disarray and employees are working with a hoodie on like out in the open.

Update: 07/01/23 Went in there cause I was desperate otherwise, I would NEVER. I seen a man so fine and I mean fine working there. One extra star for that fine man.

The store is supposed to be open until 7 or 8 pm. Guess what? The doors were locked at 5 pm!!

Im in there a few times a week. My only issues are they dont restock in demand with the volume of customers and the lines can be a bit..clogged due to limited registers open. Like the cashiers are just...off someplace in the back...bccause its hardly ever restocking their most sold items. Besides these two points its a friendly & useful business to the area.

I come to this dollar tree at least every 2 weeks. Its also near Metro PCS. and Meijer Store.. The Store is open after being closed for at least a week. Must call in advance the store keeps closing for days and weeks without notice..

There are no shopping carts and few cashiers no matter what time of day you shop here. It's cool for grabbing an item or two, but since there aren't any shopping carts in the store, it's nearly impossible to get everything you need otherwise.

This place is there to service the people in the area. With a little money you can get what your family needs. It's a good thing to have this store, it's in many area around metro Detroit.
It bothers me to hear people say" this store never has anything".
Yes, because the people who needed it got up early and got there first!!
Dollar Tree, provides people a household heaven, food, frozen food, paper goods, detergent, toys, auto needs, light bulbs, dishes and glasses, gloves and hats and scarves....... Etc. For a DOLLAR each piece!!!

Your temporary hours should be listed on your website. It's a terrible inconvenience to your customers to have to come out just to be told you closed at 7.

I generally have a pleasant experience at Dollar Tree. As expected, they had a smaller supply for balloons due to the large demand of Birthday and graduation events going on. Otherwise, they are stocked with the staples I count on.

with the short salt/pepper hair , cut low, that you see stocking shelves....she has a nasty ATTITUDE 🙄
