We enjoyed our time sitting outside sipping on coffee and munching on a pastry. Their cold brew was fantastic and their take on a pup cup was unique, Cash the dog slurped it up. Cool outdoor seating with hammocks and a modern take on a swing set. The shop had a fun selection of animal mugs, cushy lounge ware, and beans. Cash approved!

Great spot in town to get coffee— reasonable prices, super nice staff, great espresso, and fantastic seating outside. They even having swing set booth tables outside it’s pretty crazy but plenty of standing room if that’s your thing.

This coffee shop is everything! They have the cutest little shop inside it. Seating is outside includes lawn chairs, swings and hammocks. I’ve got an oat milk latte and it was bomb. Staff are very friendly and sweet. They had some arts and crafts stands in the back yard when I visited.

In the off-season always a good experience. This morning waited at the counter for 5 minutes without so much as a greeting from a barista who is working right in front of me. When he finished the order he informed me they were only taking orders at the outside window then turned and waited on someone who had arrived after me. All I wanted was a drip coffee would have taken 30 seconds. If it's all about him they get a 5 star if it's about taking care of the customer it's a 1 star. Not to mention it's a stupid policy.

We were in the area and during a ride we happened upon Outside Coffee Co. We were so happy that we did because it was like a little oasis of good vibes and good drinks. The cafe is a mixture of a cafe and apparel and merch shop. They sell local art and lots of great products. They also rent equipment like umbrellas, bikes, etc. for you to enjoy the dunes nearby. There is plenty of parking and there are plenty of drink options. Both warm and iced. I ordered a lemonade and it was freshly squeezed, y'all. I LOVE IT. The kids had an icee and iced matcha. The part we loved the most was the outside of the cafe. They have unique seating, like swings on a table, and hammocks to relax on. There is pretty lighting, and I don't know what it is but the breeze just felt different there. It was a nice place to relax. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and helpful. The owner, and artist, was so friendly and welcomed us into her store. She explained how she made her art and a little history of the shop. All in all, they have great coffee and drinks, an awesome ambiance and vibe, and great staff. If you're in the Douglas or Saugatuck area, make sure you plan on stopping by. It's totally worth the visit to relax, take in some zen and caffeine, and maybe take some art home with you. Can't wait to visit again!

This was such a cozy little coffee shop!! There was a warm and inviting fire pit out back, and inside they had a lot of great items for sale (blankets, hats, art, backpacks, socks, and more!)

Review №34

The concept is super cool. They had a fire going outside and the kiddos utilized the hammocks and swings at the table side.

The interior had a fun retail shop with candy for the eyes . The items are a little overpriced but you’re also paying for the experience.
Coffee was decent. Definitely above average.
They have doggy lattes for $2, which seems reasonable. I saw some happy pups enjoying, which gave us some joy.

The only real negative was that the service was real slooooow. There was one barista with a room full of customers and line to the door.

I got a 16oz iced lavender oat milk latte. The barista was super friendly, and happy to answer any questions I had. The outside space was really nice (shocking, I know) and the gift shop was super precious and very on the nose. My only criticism was that the oat milk was a little thin and made the latte feel a bit more watery than I'm used to. I do have to applaud them, however, on making their own lavender syrup that was neither too sweet nor too overpowering. I definitely recommend seeing what syrup or sauce they're making themselves!

Not only the best coffee, but best atmosphere in Douglas/Saugatuck. Great brew, espresso, iced and a top notch cortado.
