The store had a wide variety of options and we got everything we needed and more. Also the cashier who checked us out was so friendly and welcoming. Will be coming back for the next shopping trip.

Not a very good produce selection. The store has seen better days--but it's the only game in town unless you want to drive to Holland. Bakery is good but it's part of the deli, which closes an hour before the store closes. Some staff are friendly and helpful, but others act like they can't be bothered.

We are so fortunate to have LakeVista Supervalu in town. We have owned a home here for 18-years and I can say that the improvements that have been made in the past two years have not gone unnoticed. Yes, there are times during the peak tourist times that items can be out of stock, etc... This is not a corporate supermarket, but a family owned institution. 95% of the time, I can find what I need here to prepare a meal for friends and family. Produce quality is very good with a lot of locally-grown items. Yes, prices are higher...this is not a corporate store buying in huge quantities so that they can cut prices. I love being able to shop locally for my provisions!

This is where groceries come to die. The store is dirty, many of the shelf items are expired, and it is incredibly overpriced.
The big man in charge is ill-tempered and foul-mouthed, getting angry at the customers when he gets overwhelmed or when the line gets too long.
Stay away, Fennville grocery is 6 minutes down the road.

Convenient but incredibly overpriced. I've lived in Saugatuck for 11 years and every year something I buy from them is expired. This year it was Coke Zero Sugar. Last year was cheese. Year before deli meat. Not used to having to check the date on everything at the store.

I'm not crazy about the prices... But the people who work here are amazing and that alone is worth going for. The cashier's, the owner and her husband, the deli... They're all great. We're regulars, almost a daily basis, and they great us with a big "hello!" Every time we walk in.

Small town grocery store that has just enough for your weekend trip needs. They were running low on water bottles so we resorted to gallons which worked out fine. There was some selection available for produce and other groceries but do not expects anything similar to a target.

If you’re from out of town and looking for the basics, this market has most items. Hold your breath when you walk through the entrance though it has a terrible smell right inside the door.

This is a quaint little grocery store that doesn't exist in to many places anymore. The bigger stores like meijers and Walmart are putting a lot of these "old "hardings"like stores out of buisness. So they carry items that you won't find at walmart and meijers. I found some really good coffee creamer that is local real milk and cream from local cow farms. Makes for a much more delicious cup of coffee. I like there little deli. They make those chicken crispitos and walmart and meijers don't have those eiether. This store is pricey but it has to be to compete. And considering its the only store in douglas and saugatuk and not another real close by

Friendly, small town store. Pick up a few things and go! The fried chicken and mac and cheese was pretty good for that late in the day. Was 1st time I tried it since the 80s.

Lake Vista Super Val is a clean, generally well stocked grocery store in Douglas. The exception is produce - they can be out of numerous items depending upon their deliveries. The staff is very helpful. The prices are higher than the big chain store but to get to one of those you need to travel about 30 minutes to Holland.

Their water bottle refill station/machine is great and is one of the cleanest I have found in this area of the state. You can buy a few gallon bottles there, fill them and then bring them back to be refilled for less than 40 cents.

I highly recommend this store.

Hours online said they were open until 9. (Signs on the door said WINTER hours close at 8) IT'S MID MAY for crying out loud. Arrived around 7:45, and were rudely told they were closing at 8. Well your extreme rudeness cost you business this week and any time we return to the area. Not everyone is familiar with your hours, try being nice next time.

I like this place because it's like the only food store in Saugatuck you have to go to Holland to get a bigger store the only problem is the entrance to the store is kind of dirty otherwise the the selections inside beer wine food he needs are better than average they have a big wine and beer selection also for you vacation types LOL

Hand washing station at entrance, clean inside, reminders everywhere to not spread your germs by touching everything. Friendly efficient staff, good beer selection. Meat dept was depleted when I went on a Tuesday.

Felt like I was going into a zombie land movie set to purchase food. Little produce, broken bottles on lower shelves and limited selection. I get that there is Covid and a small customer base, but the consumer experience was only salvaged by nice employees.

Don’t waste your time. We came at 1pm on a Sunday and there wasn’t much produce left. What was left didn’t look fresh. No chicken left either and the rest of meat wasn’t good quality. We walked out and drove to Holland instead.
