Heard good things about the fish and chips. I was in the mood so gave it a go, it did not disappoint. Service here is extremely good. Food is also excellent. We will definitely be back.

Six of us stopped by for dinner on a Friday night before a Christmas concert in Anoka. We had a variety of food including a Ruben sandwich, French dip, BLT, a hot honey shrimp dinner, fish sandwich, and I had a BBQ bacon burger - most came with fries and all were very good. I chose this place based on the good food reviews and that didn't disappoint, but I wasn't expecting such a small place! Good for them for taking a small corner of a building and doing so well - but in the end it's a bar, with cute decor but still a bar atmosphere. I'd come again and can definitely recommend it. Thanks guys for making room for us to sit together! (Harder than you think lol)

Made it back and tried a few other things. Service is quick and the servers are friendly! Had another Reuben and Reuben Rolls... I want this once a week! Double fried french fries are great as well. Had to have Guinness this time!

MaGillyacuddys is one of those local gems we love to visit. This small bar has charm, consistent service, and consistent quality. The food always comes out fast and hot! My wife and I come here about once every 3 weeks for the last year, and have never had a bad experience. My favorite is the agave burger, and a must try. The fries are highly addicting, so be careful. You can't stop once you start!

If you're not sure, give them a try. They're with the trip!

We found this restaurant while searching local restaurants to try and it did not disappoint. This is a small little bar/restaurant in Anoka. The decor is fun and you know it’s going to be fun place when they have the lamp from A Christmas Story behind the bar. We were greeted immediately after choosing a table. We started out with Reuben rolls. These were fried to perfection with a great Reuben flavor with 1000 island dipping sauce. Great crunch and great flavor. We also tried Irish nachos. These are house made chips topped with cheese sauce, corn beef, bacon and diced tomatoes. These house made chips were amazing, fried to perfection so that the sauce didn’t make them soggy. That cheese sauce has so much flavor! We shared the Guinness Cheese Burger. This is an open faced burger on a sourdough bread topped with perfectly cooked fries topped with the most amazing Macgillycuddy cheese sauce. That cheese sauce is the show stopper. And of course we tried the fish and chips. Nice portion of fish with an amazing coating and crunch. Tartar sauce was good, just a normal tartar sauce. The fries that come with the meal are delicious with a good crunch. Not a plain fry. Overall great experience and an added must go back restaurant on our list.

The BEST Turkey Bacon Club, Drummies, Quesadillas (OMFG) Cole Slaw and every other things weve eaten, there. Amazing owners and employees and its always packed, lucky to get in!

This is a fun neighborhood place! I had the Reuben Sandwich, one of the best I have had. The staff is great. Service is quick. Seating is a little tight so just be ready to maybe wait for a few minutes for a table - it will be worth your time.

Love MaGillyCuddys food, drinks, and vibes- but its always full since the basement area never seems to be open psot covid. Even for St Pattys day which should probably be one of the busiest nights of the year? I used to love coming when the basement was open and more then 25 people could fit in the bar. Bring back the basement area especially for event weekends!!!

Easily will be back! First time stopping in this small Irish joint. Food was really good! Minnesota fish and chips comes with seasoned walleye and fries. Prices are reasonable and the small atmosphere makes it a cozy spot.

My husband and I have been coming here for weekly lunch dates for the past year. Jackie (owner) always serves us and it has been so cool to get to know her and support her business. Not to mention everything on the menu is AMAZING, which is one of the reasons we keep going back. 10/10 recommend MaGillyCuddys!!

A very nice place to go to for lunch. The waitress was friendly. Its nice going to a place where they remember want you like to drink & eat, especially when you dont go there a lot. You also get plenty of fries with your meal. Prices are very reasonable. My son & I enjoy eating here.

Stopped here for my birthday, food was good, but the server ruined the experience. She was rude and had an attitude the entire time, no smiles, greetings, nothing. Her demeanor and voice did change to a friendlier tone after she saw that I left a tip. Do better.

My husband and I stopped by while driving through town over Memorial Day weekend. Wow! We were so impressed! We split the Irish Dip and the Minnesota Fish and Chips. It was one of the best pieces of walleye Ive ever had! Perfectly seasoned, so tender, and the pan frying was just right. Definitely recommend it! The fries are perfect too - go enjoy some for me!

Dont be fooled by its size, because MaGillyCuddys has a big personality. Brightly lit at all times so it feels like a safe space, incredible specialty shots, great food, gorgeous service (and servers ), and the karaoke is a never fail piece of entertainment.

This far as always way, too packed on the weekends, it s so difficult to get in to get a drink, let alone, if you could ever find a table. The one time I was able to get a drink, the staff was friendly, but it is just so busy I never end up getting to go Parking: there is parking across the street as well as a free parking ramp close by

The bartender was a total sweetheart Dietary restrictions: The bartender recommended a drink that was tasty and not heavily alcoholic. I cant drink very much without becoming sick. She brought me a drink that was really tasty!

If you are looking for a delicious burger (the Agave Burger is heaven) in a unique atmosphere, MaGillyCuddys is your place! Every time weve dined at MaGillyCuddys weve had delicious food, cold drinks and service with a smile. The owners and staff are always a joy to talk too, making this our go to place on any day of the week! Flawless dinner. Everything we ordered was superbly prepared. Desserts and appetizers were excellent as well. Not inexpensive, but a terrific place for a celebratory meal.

Went there for the first time in 5 years. The food was great, the service was fast, the waiter was polite, and amazingly with rising prices, everything was still affordable! If it wasnt on the other side of town, Id go more often. Reuben rolls and the fried pickle sides were delicious as well!

Service is great, cheese sauce was fantastic but bloody Mary wasnt good and the beer chaser tasted like a communal college beer pitcher (like cigarette butts and 10 year old beer)
