Better Values Liquor

I've been shopping here for years.
Good local business with fair prices.
Generally, the employees are exemplary, But the rude cashier with the colored Mohawk complaining about customers showing up during business hours directly with the customers that spend the money that pay her wage is unprofessional it has tarnished My Views of this establishment.

This is a great little stop. They have so much to offer in such a small space. I always like to shop here. They are great about promoting their products and running different sales daily. The best part is that the proceeds go back into the community. What a great thing!

Love all the workers except one who is so rude. Tried to be nice to her more than a handful of times and yet she still is rude to me and just fine with the customer in front of me and behind me. They have good sale prices and nice selection of Wine Tasting and Wine Sales. Keep up the good work. You guys!

The staff is nice. But the selection is poor, and staff isn't always familiar with the big brands, but that is probably because this location doesn't always carry all the big brands. They often have budget brand beer and wine on sale.

The staff is always surly here and I can't figure out why. Especially the grey haired woman who works Saturday nights.

Customers are quiet and orderly. It's never very busy. Maybe working at the liquor store is more stressful then I imagine, or maybe the employees are just cranky all the time.

So it's around 930 and I stop in at the local liquor store. I walk in and slightly move a cart of wine to reach my selection and make way to pay. That's when Karen(not sure real name) said, " I should not sell to you because you walked around the cart." I chuckled thinking she was joking. Still straight faced she said " we just vacuumed the carpet and you could of slipped or something." (Is that a thing?) I apologized sincerely and said I had no idea that was the reason but I'll remember in the future. She then continues asking me if I just go around things In traffic whenever I want. That's when I thanked her and wished her a good evening and left. Hope she's having a bad night or something, because I'm not sure customer service is her jam. Never had a problem there until this evening. I hope the slippery carpet doesn't keep her up at night. Thanks for reading my amusing antidote. Hope you have a lovely night as well:)

Excellent place. Great staff. There's not a huge beer selection, but if you are looking for something specific (liquor or wine), the staff will help you out. They're very knowledgeable and all you need to do is ask.

It s a liquor store, so what do you expect. (8/30/22) updated to 4 stars now, employees less rude now that they know me, almost all liquor stores are like that. I wish they had a better selection tho, no sake or soju

Decent place. But dont expect sn answer when u call. Was looking for a certain liquor. Tried calling ahead to see if they carried it. No answer wasted gas just for them to say they dont have it. Why have a business number on Google if ur not gonna answer it.

They deeply discount wines they are deleting, so it is always worth a check. Frequent sales on wine brands as well. They just started carrying a small selection from the very popular Carlos Creek Winery in Carlos, MN. Small but good selection of craft beer... sadly much of it is out of the refrigerator!
