This review is NOT about the store at 1215 E.Superior St. This is about corporate CVS. I called the corporate "support" line,and they couldn't tell me how to post a corporate review so I am doing it here.

The automated phone system for the pharmacy is almost completely useless. The most annoying thing is it will never allow you to speak to a person, not to mention that you have to give details repeatedly because "something didn't work right". Yes, I was hot after spending 15 minutes on the phone with a useless bot. No wonder CVS is closing locations. Corporate obviously does not understand what good customer service means

BTW, the pharmacy staff at this location (Superior St) are excellent and I give this store 4 stars.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL what you buy at this store!!!!
Tons of merchandise on the shelves are expired not just days we are talking months 6 to 8 months expired. The manager doesn't care about it either. And corporate either. This is not okay

Disrespectful staff and careless manager. Refuses any proof of identification to pick up UPS packages. If you ever get a package sent here for pickup just wait until the 7 days goes by to return to sender and have it get redelivered, because they'll do everything in their power to withhold it.

First, the pharmacy closing at 7pm in a city this big is absolutely wild. I had gotten there with barely any time to spare, admittedly, but they had already shuttered the whole pharmacy. My prescription was ready for pickup, so it would have taken like a minute or two to do the whole transaction at best! Honestly, I hadn't realized it even closed so early to begin with which is why I cut it so close! That aside, I still went in to pick up some nasal spray the doctor recommended. CVS is RIDICULOUSLY expensive for a generic brand. I bought the nasal spray assuming it was half-priced from the brand name, not half the amount (60 sprays), that makes it just as expensive per spray as the name brand?? I went on Amazon to compare and saw you can get THREE separate bottles with OVER double the amount of sprays each (so what near 400 sprays?) for $8 more dollars or double the amount of sprays for $3 less dollars if you buy per bottle. I tried to attach photo proof but Google wouldn't let me; google fluticasone spray and you will be able to see for yourself... That is just greedy, and why I will no longer be using CVS personally. Spend your dollars wisely elsewhere!

On more than a few occassions, ive been told "its too early to fill my med, wait 2 days" 2 days later i go to order it and then "oh sorry we are all out of that med, we will order it and it might take up to 5 days"..... happens much more often than it should. .....thats Cvs pharmacy on 12th Avenue east in a nutshell for ya.

Great stuff, friendly service and fair pricing. The store is always nice neat and clean and employees are always very helpful. Check them out. You will not be disappointed

I love this store. The staff have always been kind and helpful. I save a ton here with all of my family needs. With the location being conveniently located, this store is by far my favorite store to go to.

The pharmacy team here is fantastic. This pharmacy delivers that small town community pharmacy feel in downtown Duluth. Every time I’m in the pharmacy I see the hustle and smiles on their faces. Their hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

Racist location came in today, to get some medicine and do some shopping, white counter person whom I normally deal with when I go there, today acting brand new, I had my mask on so I asked from the beginning can he hear me he told me yes, because I told him I dont like repeating myself, told him my date of birth, then he proceeds to look at me like I have two heads, I repeat my dob to him again because all of a sudden now he has a hearing problem, I repeat again my dob, then racist Karen comes from back telling me I am being rude to her worker, I ask her how? I told him my dob like 4 times already, then she proceeds to call the police on me,I also called the police as well, see Karen and those like her are quick to call police on people of color, hoping it will escalate into something more sinister, so I left the officer called me and cleared me of any wrong doing, and let me know to contact corporate which I did and recorded, the incident as well, if u are black or another person of color u must record, because they are quick to believe Karen over anyone else, so I will not be back, not a black people friendly location.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR HOURS! Went there thinking the store was open till 9 and it was only 730 and they were closed! On the front of the building said 9 also. I get being short handed but then let the public know!!

Hey, big thanks for closing 2 hours early temporarily but its been like that for a LONG TIME. I checked and it said the hours were last confirmed by the site here on Google 4 days ago so I figured it was done.... Nope... Not happy... Oh, and I fixed the hours for you... Youre welcome. Like Answer

Their Online store hours said 8am opening. The automated phone system said 9am and the person I talked to after 10 min on the phone with the bot said they open at 10:30am. I Asked the woman over the phone if they could print off UPS labels she said yes they should be able to. I get to the store and I talked to this worker they said they cannot Wasted so much of my time I will never go to CVS again

I get all my prescriptions here. And all the staff are pleasant, polite as well as very helpful. I tend to go to my CVS about once a week.

Friendly competent staff who have gone the extra mile to make sure I dont run out of my meds. They have helped me with insurance issues and always given me extra time to discuss my meds if needed. The pharmacist is right by the counter and easy to access - unlike the place across the street where the pharmacist hides in the back room behind a crowd of Pharm techs. I appreciate CVSs decision to NOT sell cigarettes in their stores - it shows ethics that the place across the street lacks. Their iPhone app is excellent and helpful, as are the text alerts about my medications. This is the best pharmacy I have ever had!

Worst CVS Ive ever been to. Gave 2 stars because of the great cash back coupons you receive in the receipts, otherwise, horrible. My family and I are switching to another pharmacy.

The customer service is excellent! The pharmacists are very personable and go above and beyond to help you. The cashiers are really great too. I went in with a very nice homeless gentleman one time and the cashiers manners were impeccable. Nice to see a large franchise like that where you still get treated like a valued guest and a human being, instead of a money machine.
