Staff is personable, store is clean & relatively uncluttered. Does not carry everything DT offers or isn't restocked - craft, home items. (This is a corporate choice). Valentines is out in Mankato Mn, but not here yet.

Went here to pick up a couple kids birthday cards. They had a good selection to choose from. The store is so much more organized than our Dollar Trees in south Florida. (Sad but so true 😪😪) The young lady at the checkout is so pleasant. She's busy every time I'm in there, working alone and is still pleasant and makes your shopping trip feel appreciated. She's an asset to the company.

Was just in there and the staff member turned off her light while I was being checked out and kept going on about how inconvenient it was to wait on customers can't they see my light is off, we have truck coming. Let just say she made it well know that customers weren't welcome

I went in there to grab a few things. I go up to the counter where this old lady was just standing there doing nothing so I assumed her line was open. As soon as she started scanning my things in she THREW everything in the bags and than proceeded to THROW my stuff on the counter and i happened to buy a pop and I said you can stop throwing my things and she said with a nasty attitude I didn’t throw anything and my boyfriend that was with me said you did throw them kinda hard up here and than when she was done checking me out I grabbed a new pop that wouldn’t be flat after her throwing it and than left. Don’t recommend. Very rude and disrespectful. Sorry I didn’t choose your job at the dollar tree. Have better customer service. She was HORRIBLE!!

This dollar tree in North Mankato is the best.they are clean.product isn't jumbled up everywhere and they are super friendly
The checker asked me today if I wanted a separate bag for my cleaners.

Between this and the other dollar tree , they are about the same with stocking. This one seems to keep up better though with inventory

Supposed to open at 9AM. There are over 12 people outside waiting, including a worker who tried to reach the manager by phone. By 9:15 many of us had waited since 8:30. She said she can't get here till about 9:45AM. Same thing at the holidays. They make it difficult to shop here! I will go elsewhere.

Hours changed again Due to staff issues they are only open 11-7 right now and closed on Tuesday and Wednesday now.

Really need to start paying more than minimum wages.

I'd give them 5 stars if they were ever open. They keep the strangest hours and I'm guessing it's due to staff shortages. I have stopped by here at least 4 times over the past few months to find them closed during normal business hours. The latest was at 10:45am on a Saturday. Just very odd.

Use to love stopping at this North Mankato location. The last 4 times I was in the area the store was closed because of staff shortage. Just seen others walking away from the door in disgust. If I sat outside long enough I'm sure I'd see many others.

Hours are not correct on website or Google. They are open from 11-7 Sunday-Monday and Tuesday 9-2.

This Dollar Tree was nicely stocked and looking good! My 1 star rating came from the service the cashier provided. She had long hair, and a skin condition. She was THE RUDEST and had a HORRIBLE attitude! This woman should NOT be working in customer service. I felt bad for the customers before me for having to deal with her!!! I know you need help desperately, as we all do, but you can definitely do without her!!!!!! Im not sure Im in a hurry to return to this particular store because of this incident.

1st one didn't have my Crystal Bay strawberry candies( Mankato store)
I bought a case at the N Mankato store that temporarily changed thier hrs so I waited 45 minutes for it to open.
Hire more help and actually pay them!

I went to this $ tree and purchased many items. The cashier rang up one of my items 3 times. I asked her how many times I was being charged for the item. She acted like she was looking and fixing the mistake. When I got home, I discovered I was still overcharged for that item 3 times. While she was ringing me up, she asked if this item was a good deal. I told her it was a very good deal. Coincidence???

Dollar Tree on Commerce is the best Dollar Tree in the Mankato area. Always clean, not really crowded, and the employees are friendly. Definitely recommend.

Great prices, only complaint I've got is they seem to be low on stock and out of inventory too often. But everything's a dollar so can't go too wrong and always seem to walk out with at least one item I didn't plan on getting!

It's always fun to go see what's new at the Dollar Tree! You can always find things to add to your holiday decorations. When my husband comes with , he follows me around saying " I wonder how much this costs!" Never a dull moment.
