This is a true hidden gem to donate items and then go shopping for more items. This place has everything you can think of in the clothing or general merchandise department. The staff was nice and knowledgeable of items in the store. The place is huge, so you will be in there for an hour minimum in awe of the shopping experience. This is a pretty decent place. Findin’ that one sweet cashier is like findin’ those shoes you always wanted for the low low. The suits are always neat to look through and men’s shirt selection is generally good. Cool clean spot.

We love this thrift store. It has plenty of fitting rooms and nice clean restrooms. All of the racks have signs that tell you what they are. It is kept nice and organized. And cheaper than other thrift stores we go to I only wish they had discount days or senior discount days, or colored tag specials (cheaper for one particular color on tags certain days)

I could NOT BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SOW THE PEICES HERE ARE UNBELIEVABLE ….!!!! A friend said you get good deals here? $700 for an broken sofa and $600 for matching loveseat ? I mean ARE YOU SERIOUS….!!! You want me to pay $1300 for a sofa set when You got this items for FREE and the worst people here are the managers when I ask why different prices If they are a set they say it is what it is if I want them I have to pay what it says, I mean who prices like that or WHY…!!!! that is called stealing, SOMEONE HAS TO STOP THIS OR AT LEAST PUT CONTROL ON THIS ABSURD PRICES…!!! Please let me know with who I can talk about this since the “Managers” are not help they are the ones who price this items.

Went there today for the first time and was very happy. Store is very clean and the employees very nice. Got 2 very nice shirts,a brand new phone case,a book and a brand new Pioneer Woman coffee mug for $15. Way better than Goodwill or Savers. Will definitely be going back.

Best thrift store ever!! Very Clean and well organized, nicer than most Macy's I've been to. Merchandise is 65% new in men's clothing. I bought new $35 shirts for $3. It's worth the drive.

I July 18th 2023 12:00 noon was in the store shopping and I had some ladies clothes on hangers. I was in the men's section with my boyfriend seeing what what he liked so I decided to put some of the ladies clothes on one of the racks hanging cuz I was far away .
One of the workers actually walked up and said why are you putting those there you don't want them anymore you putting them there next time put them back. If I worked that place and I spoke with a customer like that I don't dare do that cuz they're the ones who are paying me. However the store is pretty and very organized

I love this DI. It’s my favorite. Grace is almost always there, she is so kind and helpful.
I go here for all of my books they are usually so organized.
After the remodel books were organized by cover and color rather than Genre and author.
It was very hard to look through books and find anything I was looking for. I heard many other customers complain while trying to find books. Please go back to how it was.

I am a frequent customer I come here everyday and spend a lot of money and know most of the staff. But every single time I come to the store to shop and SUSAN THE MGR is there she ALWAYS watches me. wherever I go SUSAN goes. Well today was the straw that broke the camels back. I conveyed to the cashier on #3 ALEX before I went to my car with my basket that I was taking my first cart and I would be back to get my other cart. Alex waited until I went outside to question if I payed for my items. Susan proceeds to come to my car and ask me for a receipt ( are you serious) very unprofessional. Racial profiling at its finest. I want to thank GRACE for her professionalism and kindness she’s is a amazing supervisor or should be. She has a great attitude and goes out of her way to keep the customers who keep her employed with smiles on there face and eager to come back. Unlike SUSAN who never smiles very unapproachable and wants to show her authority. She embarrassed me and singled me out and went to get another employee to go look at my car by the name of. Tabitha and when I asked her name she walked away with an attitude. I feel really uncomfortable shopping here now and I really want this matter addressed cause I have it all on video.

The store is clean and well organized. The items are above grade for being second hand. The staff is helpful and friendly. I was able to get 3 formal dresses for my daughter’s dance for a price I could manage vs buying new. One dress still had the original tag on it. Amazingly good dress shopping experience because of the helpful staff. Cashier was Alexa and she was super cheerful and helpful with my questions.

I bought a cordless floor vacuum 3 days ago. It doesn't work so I tried to return it. Cashier told me I couldn't return it they only take clothes back. I usually check make sure things work before I leave.... a cordless vacuum so it wasn't charged bad business. I've been coming here for a long time I spend a lot of money

I’ve always came here and never had a bad experience until today. Stacey helped me out and after asking her about a price she asked her manager, her manager said it was okay to give me what the price tag said and she charged me more after he manager said it was okay to give me the price that WAS STATED! It’s not my fault or any costumers fault that they price things wrong. Give the customer what the tag says Stacey especially after your manager said it was okay! Worst customer service ever. Way to go Stacey!

This place is disgusting to me. They are charging $10 for dollar tree glass. $25 for old art not even in good shape. It’s not so thrifty and when you ask any questions about price they try to justify it when EVERYTHING is donated so it shouldn’t be a problem especially knowing this is a THRIFT store. Won’t be coming back and I’m going to Fox 5.

This place is amazing! Very clean & organized. The employees are incredibly kind & professional. Would absolutely recommend over Goodwill or Savers type stores.
I had an item that was damaged & was discounted in price, along with another item that was missing parts- also discounted.

Even though it didn't have no price on children shoes, even though they was used my ex-wife wanted to buy them for my grandson. An employee said they price them at the register. She got them up to the register the lady that was running the register said $20 because they're Shaq shoes didn't buy them next day I went in pick them up off the shoe rack. (Still there) went up to an executive there his name was Gary show them how the toe was scuffed. Soon as I went up to the register I'm told the lady, Gary said the toe was scuffed. The shoes are now $2 what was the magic word GARY. And now my four-year-old grandson has Shaq's shoes.

I've been coming here on and off for years. I'm not sure why I ever stop going, but this place is where you're going to get an amazing deal. Saver's is extremely expensive, but Desert Industries always has great clothes, movies, literally everything honestly and prices that you really can't beat.

First Timer to this business to check it out. Well run, neat and tidy, and clean thrift store. Prices very reasonable and shopping experience peaceful. We spend a fair amount of time shopping. The donation drive through drop-off on the side is a good idea. We were at the nearby Sam's days earlier and had to return to see this place.

Not only have the prices doubled the staff is rude about accepting items for donations. They won't take my chairs because there are 2 of them but not 4? But when I go shopping inside they have nothing but mismatched chairs that are set at a ridiculous price. Won't be back to donate or buy.

Normally love this store and usually great customer service always! Two of the same exact candle holders, one labeled at $1 and one at .50 cents. Female manager says .50 is too cheap and $1 is too high, let’s do .75 cents a piece instead she says....rather than just saying she’s not marking the one labeled $1 to .50 cents. Her .75x2 and the actual labeled price were both $1.50 total. So disappointing to treat customers as if they don’t know how to add simple math. The store should honor the lower priced label regardless of who’s managing that day. Especially seeing that there were overflowing shelves of Knick knacks that no one else was buying what’s .50 cents to the store?

Always friendly, Always helpful. This is one of the best Thrift stores around Las Vegas, Nevada. You wont find a ton of vintage clothes. But everything will be priced well and it will be easy to shop at this location. The store is big and has a very wide collection to pick from. It is cleaner than others similar places. The apparel section is very huge and many clothes are in good or new condition. The staff is supportive. The prices of items are great, with them being less than the other thrift stores in town. On average 50% cheaper.

I give them one star because that's the lowest ratings available, I dropped items off a the time with no remorse because giving back is choice for me. Yesterday I went there to look for a simple table and they were asking $35 I asked the manager if she could take something off she was very unprofessional and respond I can only take $5 off and walked away. I was more than happy to leave that place.i thought this place was there to help the less fortunate!

Went into the store got charged the wrong price for 2 pairs of pants called in the store and talked to the store manager named Ben/Brian I believe who hung up on me so I called to ask for the regional number to complain and got a lady named tabatha who would not give me the number and argued and fussed with me for like 5 minutes. I will never shop there again and will tell everyone I know not to shop there. I was looking for the christianity today lol.

I use to come here on a weekly basis and I use to get great deals. I do know that with thrift stores it’s hit and miss but a used mug priced at $3.00 is ridiculous! I can get a new mug for that price and the coffee mug is only a small example for the rest of the store EVERYthing is overpriced for used and pretty worn looking clothing! Whoever is pricing items is trying to jack up prices on used stuff
Also employees were using shopping carts to block isles to put things away making a crowded store even more crowded

I'm always skeptical going to thrift stores I've never heard of, but this place is absolutely AMAZING! Their prices are super low and consistent. All the pants are one price regardless of brand, quality, style and same goes for dresses, shoes, shirts, etc. Everything is nice and organized and the variety they have is HUGE!

Excellent selection of high quality second hand items!! The furniture here is second to none in terms of condition. Great choices of mix and match ladies swimwear! The reason I give it three stars, however, is because of two employees...I spotted a handbag section and if course my inner "girly-girl" side got excited, so I figured I would have a look. The purses are thrown on top of one another in spite of the fact there were some high quality brands (coach, etc.), and one of the employees stood directly over me and tried to make small talk (albeit with a monotone voice) it was incredibly awkward. It made me feel odd, so I stood up to walk away, and when I turned around, there was another employee standing directly right behind me, watching me as well. The customer service needs to be improved in terms of being personable with patrons. Instead of just saying hello and asking how I am today, ask "are you looking for something in particular?/ can I help you find a certain brand?" Tone and respecting personal space are important in the customer service industry. I work in customer service as well, and it would do better to speak with a smile and a happy vocal connotation, and well as perhaps backing up a foot or two. Other than that, it's an absolutely lovely place to shop!

The best thrift store in the valley! Prices are extremely low and quality is excellent. The store is very organized and clean, so it’s enjoyable thrifting even with kids. Items are sorted very well so it is easy to find whatever you’re looking for (ie. Baby girl dresses, non fiction books, baby boy pants, women’s short sleeve shirts). I just move from Hawaii, been here for three weeks. We just gotta place. Two days ago, we brought # 2- T.V. Sofa. Tablespoon, pots, cloths and a lot of things. PLUS they give us a good deals. Thank you again.

Cashier was rude and had this attitude
telling me that I couldn't use my phone
to pay and he didn't even try, and I told
him I've done it so many times before
and he responded with this attitude
"not at this place!" And I responded I did pay before like this at this store and he had bad attitude like if I was contradicting him. His name is Jeffrey. I never had this incident before but this guy was close minded.

This is my favorite place to shop. They have a huge selection and I sometimes find clothes that are brand new with the tags still on. I don't have to feel guilty for spending lots of money on clothes. I'm the head of a family of 9, 5 of them are children and I buy their clothes at Deseret also. The store is always clean and well organized. The staff is very nice. I recently lost 95pounds and, as I was moving down in size, I would buy the next smaller size at Deseret and donate the larger sizes back . Love this store!

would have given 0 if possible.
From the moment i walked in the store the employees started following me around and watching me as if i was going to steal something. i’m a 4’11 100 pound girl with caramel/darker skin. i also noticed that no one else was being watched the way i was. i came in here planning to spend hundreds of dollars on furniture and clothing items. I changed my mind because i didn’t feel comfortable purchasing from a company that profiled me as soon as i walked through the door. This is America. we can do better than this!

Yesterday (6/21/2018 @ around 2:30 or 3:00 pm. i was in collectibles waiting for service,there was a staff member in the same department. I said excuse me can you show me something in the case, he walked right pass me, another customer was there too she said i dont think he heard you so i said it a little louder and he continued to ignore me. He turned to walk away so i ask do you work in this department he said very loudly no and you need to ring the bell for help! I told him i didnt appreciate the attitude then another employee came over and said if you need help you need to ring the bell. I told her why should i ring the bell when he was standing right there and could have politely said sorry no but ring the bell and someone will be here shortly instead of just ignoring me twice and yelled at me with an attitude. To make matter worse she heard her co worker yell at me and came over to assist without ringing the bell but she repeated you have to ring the bell!! The young lady helped me select items from the case. Then the rude loud employee that yelled at me came back to the area and begin speaking loud enough for me hear him apologizing to another employee for not concentrating because someone was yelling for help. Well that was it!! i asked for a manager and i was told there was one at the front. I told the manager on duty what had happened, she apologized and she asked for details as to what the employee looked like and told her he was tall wearing black glasses and have deep voice. She said she knew who i was talking about and would speak with him. She wasn't very reassuring and i walked away feeling like nothing would be done about the employee's attitude. I continued to shop with my daughter but noticed the very loud rude employee hovering around in each dept we was in. This is the reason i decided to write this review. I have shopped in North Las Vegas Deseret for years and the staff was always friendly. But this person was unsettling. I hope someone will speak to him or don't let work on floor until he receive customer service training.

I've been a customer of both locations for a long time and have found the most wonderful treasures , I've spent good money knowing it was for a good cause , but yesterday I was shocked , embarrassed, and just treated like a common criminal, I'm disabled and when trying on clothing I used the accommodating dressings room because there is a seat in it, as I opened the door to step in a manager ran up on me yelling , " I hand you the clothes to try on " he HEY HEYed me and accused me stealing things , I hadn't even finished shopping , I have never seen him before , his name is BEN and some woman named SARAH WERE EXTREMELY RUDE , MY YOUNG CHILDREN WERE CRYING AS WE WERE YELLED AT TO , " GET OUT AND DONT COME BACK". I'm still mortified over the event.

Deseret is one of the most organized thrift stores at which you will ever shop. I LOVE that. Also, I know from having worked there that the entire thriftstore is a giant program run by people who GENUINELY care about the employees, the donors, and the customers. We have lots of choices when it comes to donating money and time and belongings. If you want to give any of those, know that you can feel 100% safe giving here. They are doing right by you and right by the community ❤

Great place to pick up books for the entire family. The price on the books are extremely affordable. I bypass the clothing area that seems to always be stuck in the 80's or 90's. In general it's a very clean store.

I love my experience every time I visit. Staff are very friendly and helpful always checking to see if you found everything you needed. It’s clean enough for a thrift shop. I know staff do there best to keep it as clean as possible but there are those customers that will just go through a pile and leave it messy and very inconsiderate of others. But great job to such a great staff. Must visit if you ask me. They gotta big parking lot so you cant complain. I would totally recommend them to friends and families. This is one of my favorite thrift shop here in Vegas.
