Family-owned 30-lane bowling alley with a sports bar, restaurant, arcade games & a pro shop.
I went bowling with a group of friends and 8 year old son a few weeks back. The reviews had me a bit nervous but we all had a great time. Everything was decently clean and anytime we had an issue with the lane the staff came right over to fix it. We ordered some food which was fine and priced nicely. My son had a nice time in the arcade as well after we finished bowling. I’d definitely go back there again.

PHENOMENAL place!!!! I went here for my daughter's birthday yesterday. ALL of the staff were so friendly, helpful, and were so accommodating to our group of 10. There were a bunch of kids with us and they were amazing from the sweet girls who checked us in, to the kitchen crew, to the really cool guy who turned our screens on and helped us with a bunch of jammed balls in our lane. It was my 1st time there and I can't wait to go back! Food was also delicious! A little pricey, but everything is pricey these days. Well worth the money I spent.

The first person we met was the cashier. She was not friendly or helpful. The younger women who did help us was nice and helpful. We had lanes 11 and 12. The score boards kept shutting off or posting the wrong information. The bartender was friendly and nice. The alcohol drinks were lacking alcohol. Best to buy the beer only. We ordered french fries- they were a little undercooked and salty. The maintenance men was the most helpful person.

Boo, tomato. I walked in with a friend to bowl, not a professional or interested in any league, just to bowl on a Wednesday night. The staff was not at the desk initially to open a lane, when the staff finally came they continued to watch the other players bowl and not address me as a paying guest. This went on for 15 minutes, going so far as to completely ignoring my inquiry for a lane 2 times. Finally after finding another passing employee i was told that they are not serving any regular players. Boo. Tomato

I came here with my paraplegic uncle, Uncle Wheels, and his mail order bride. I was excited to show them a good old fashioned North Arlington time, but it was simply DREADFUL! To begin, I have big feet. I come from a long lineage of clowns, and I require a specific type of prescription bowling shoe. This, coupled with my Uncle’s useless noodle legs, meant that only Svetlana, my Uncle’s beautiful Eastern European consort, needed shoes. The woman at the front desk became enraged, insinuating that people like us were the reason bowling alleys across the nation were failing. To quell this beast’s rabid aggression, I rented two pairs of bowling shoes and a pair of bowling wheels for my Uncle. When we got to our lane, everything seemed fine. We put in our names, the game started, and we started to take our turns. Uncle Wheels was the first to go. (It should be noted here that the lanes have stairs from the table the bowling platform, meaning that every time it was Uncle Wheels’ turn, he had to slam down each step like an old wino.) Anyway, he takes his turn, carefully positions the chair, and proceeds to roll down the lane, rolling a perfect straight shot. At the last moment, someone shoved the ball away with a long stick from behind the pins. We thought that was odd, so we brought it to the attention of the woman at the front desk. “That happens sometimes.” She said. “ It’s an old bowling alley and sometimes we have malfunctions.” “Well,” I began, “if this keeps happening, can we change lanes?” She then retorted in a childish manner, “CHANGE LANES CHANGE LANES!” slamming her palms against the table table with each “LANES.” She explained we couldn’t change lanes as there was a league game going on tonight. ‘Yo mama’ I thought, as there were 11 free lanes, but decided it was in the best interest of my uncle to not allow him to feel like “less of a man,” as he puts it. (Yeah, I know.) Anyway, the stick seldom appeared after that but I noticed the names changed on the computer screen, now appearing as Clown Foot, Meals on Wheels, and, to my confusion, Greek Card, which I took to mean “Green Card,” or perhaps they confused Svetlana’s country of origin. In any case, we would not be deterred. We continued to bowl, doing our best to have a good time out of spite to the bowling authority that seemed to wish ill upon three outcast patrons. This is when things began to escalate. I ordered a pizza from the kitchen, which never arrived, as well as a pitcher of coke. When the pitcher arrived, the man handing it to me said with a sneer, “I hope Pepsi’s okay.” “Yes,” I replied, “that’s fine.” His sneer mutated into a scowl and he knocked the pitcher aside just as I was about to take it. “Sorry, but we’re all out of both.” It was then that I heard a commotion coming from our lane. Apparently, my Uncle had gotten into some sort of confrontation with a group of ghosts. As I rushed to his aid, I realized that these specters were in fact the KKK, and they were having the league game. Apparently, they had complained that my Uncle’s wheels kept squeaking, distracting them from their game. Now, I know my uncle keeps his wheels greasier than an Italian auto body shop, and told them to back off. “This is our ally!” The phantom said, lifting up his robe, revealing his one inch member. Glinting off his third thumb was a perfect game ring. “You see that? This means ‘make like a tree and get outta here.” At this moment the loud speaker asked “the freak show who ordered the floor Pepsi” to leave. Svetlana walked away in a huff, leaving my uncle to undo his bowling wheels alone. I helped him and we proceeded to walk back to my iconic small car, where we found the pizza I had ordered smeared across the windshield, bits of mushroom sticking to the wipers, despite that I had ordered pepperoni.

Our lane glitched 3 different times, they did give us 10 extra minutes, since the older lady didnt want to walk towards our lane to reset our lane the first time. They have party lights installed but doesnt work. THEY DO NOT TURN OFF THE LIGHTS AFTER HOURS, incase youre planning on celebrating your birthday under the pretty lights. The music saved the night! The younger girl from the smack bar made it a drag to want to order more food, I had my partner pick up the food afterwards and he was also given attitude by the same girl. Good luck!

Went bowling recently with my children. Our lane broke down continuously and we kept needing to call someone to help with repairing it mid-game. This is in addition to the lights shutting off, like a previous review mentioned happened to them. Staff was ok to speak with but not particularly friendly. Good customer service would have been to offer something for the continuous malfunctions we experienced.

They really did a nice job renovating and I have to say all of the bowling lanes & equipment are brand new in beautiful condition. Clean fun & friendly What I was most impressed with especially being a Kearny girl my whole life was the huge change & addition of the new video game/arcade area (which never existed when I was growing up). Now it s not only a bowling alley but also a mini arcade, bar & restaurant all in one fantastic experience. This was the very first time my children experienced bowling & I couldn t be more pleased that it was here. We had a blast fantastic family fun!

Due to the kindness of each person who really enjoys working there...this place really blows away Bowlerama!!! First on price, both the lanes and video games are less, 2nd on commercialization.. I can actually enjoy my bowling here vs. feeling like Im in Times Square - not overestimating for children. They actually have plastic sliding dinosaurs for kids to roll the balls on...encourages kids to bowl at younger age. However...again...it was the people who worked there. From the girl on her lunch break who still helped me to the gentleman fixing the lanes watching so kids keep a distance to the kind woman running the show whos multitasking with nothing but calmness. My son and our guests had a blast. Thank you!!

My husband and I went there today with our 2 older sons. We paid for 2 games for 4 people. Rented and received 4 pairs of shoes and started our game. Despite the lane breaking down at one point, everything was going fine until the lights went off on our lane during the second game. The scoreboard had an alert telling us if we wanted to resume our game, to see the front desk. We thought it was another glitch with the lane. However, when my husband went to the front desk and asked the worker what was wrong, she told him she only charged us for 3 people and if we wanted to continue playing, we would have to pay for the 4th person. HUH? We already paid and received 4 pairs of shoes! If the person ringing up made a mistake, they should have let us know right away, not just stop our game 45 minutes later in the middle of bowling! So unprofessional and seemed like a scam to get more $$$ We will definitely Not be back.

The atmosphere isn t bad however the attitude of the employees kill anything this place has to offer. We were given a faulty lane that kept breaking down on us. When we asked to get it fixed they did it while on our time wasting about 10 minutes or our play time. When we thought it was fixed, it broke again and the repair man threatened to kick us out if the lane broke down again. Food was not bad but I definitely won t be going back due to staff.

Only a good experience because I was with coworkers. Bowling pins kept getting stuck and we had to keep resetting it. The scores kept messing up. Also, I was served half burnt pizza. I brought it back asking if it can be replaced. The so called owner called me back to the counter and said they will not replace the pizza because it s not burnt. I got upset and he got upset back at me for not taking the pizza. He refused to make another pizza. I m not sure but the service here is terrible and I think it won t be long until they close down for good if this keeps up. I kind of lost my cool because I m used to good service and I couldn t believe that I was being treated so poorly.

Pretty decent pricing. I would actually like it if the bowlers and staff were as decent, however you get what you pay for. The league players are not happy with anyone taking the public balls and complain to the staff. The staff tell you to leave the ball and bring your own. You will get a better experience literally anywhere else. I suggest a local bowling ally over this this dump. Avoid at all cost if you dislike traveling long distances with your family, only to be turned away. However they did at the very least refund me so I gave this ally two stars. I genuinely feel that this was a pretty fair assessment based on my personal experience. Leaguers may feel differently as its understandable that the business would prefer local steady customers to random ones.

They were very rude, told us to leave in the middle of a game because pro players were disturbed. That is the only explanation, that we disturbed the pro players with our presence. Maybe because I am a foreigner. Do not know. They also hesitsted to give refund for the shoes even though we were inside for 7-8 minutes. If you are a regular person trying to enjoy their time do not go this place

I came here with my family, they are visiting from abroad. There were no balls on our rack so we took one from the next lanes rack. Would not recomment this place if you are visiting with your friends or family to chill

Zero stars!!!!!! This place is a disgrace. It is disgusting that we have a place like this operating in our town. My husband went there on a Sunday and ask management if we can reserved 2 lanes for the next day. It s my step daughter s birthday and she s been begging to go bowling. They said they don t do reservations and they have leagues that play but if we get there before 6pm we could have 2 lanes. We said great we will be there at 4pm. I bought decorations, cupcakes and arrived at 4pm. I walked up to they counter and the owner said no we don t have any lanes. Meanwhile 3 lanes out of the entire place were occupied. I said the person yesterday said it was ok if we got here before 6pm. He said well I wasn t here and I can t give you 2 lanes. We have leagues coming in later. I said it s my step daughter s 4th birthday! You re seriously not going to give us 2 lanes???? He said no. Thank goodness I went over to Belleville and they accommodated us. They said they have people who go there often with similar stories of having a terrible experience at NA bowling alley. I don t wish bad on people but this place needs a new owner and management.
