Stopped in New Jersey Beer Company after a game at MetLife Stadium! What a cool brewery! Nestled in an old warehouse of sort, the building has character as do the staff. Phil behind the bar was great to chat with and the beer was great! My only complaint is that I live an hour and 45 minutes away! The strawberry cheesecake ipa was amazing and I look forward to stopping again when we are near the city.

Good beers. The staff is friendly. Space isn't for everyone. If your looking for that fine gastropub experience, this ain't it. This is a the craft beer version of a dive bar. A warehouse where they make great beer and they have a little area off to the side where you can hang out and drink it. Nothing more. Nothing less. This is a straight up Jersey joint in an industrial area of town, and I wouldn't have it any other way. This is a blue collar as it gets. Great people working hard and making great beer. Cheers!

Unexpectedly excellent. Don't let what looks like an industrial loading bay fool you, that's exactly what it is. Grab a flight or choose your favorite brew. You can bring your own grub or choose from a variety of different food vendors that change on the weekends.
Not sure what you like? The cicerones can guide you through your selection of flights. Board games and an arcade cabinet available too.

It kinda feels like hanging out in my friend's garage but he keeps serving me beer and there's also a whole BBQ spread for sale. I wish they had more variety beyond IPA but the nitro stout and chocolate PB stout were delicious. I appreciate how casual and chill this place is.

NJBC has been in the craft brewing industry since 2010 and, over their long existence, have created some of our favorite NJ beers. While they have always excelled in the IPA lines ranging from traditional to hazies and milkshakes, I think the stout and porter lineups are even stronger offerings. As a fan of strong, dark, and generally more complex beers, NJBC really hit a home run with their "Cups of Peanut Butter and Chocolate" porter. But you won't go wrong with anything on the board.

One of, if not the most popular beers they make is the "Blood Orange LBIPA." This would be your must try beer if you've never experienced it.

There's this concept developed by the Walt Disney theme parks as the gold standard for excellent customer service: If a guest has a bad experience, do everything to fix it. Turn that bad experience into a good experience, because customers remember excellent service. They remember people who care.

Just before the holiday, I bought a bad 4-pack of NJ Beer Co. beer. It was not even remotely drinkable. I looked up some phone numbers, and contacted the General Manager that evening, and the next week, Head Brewer himself DROVE 2 HOURS down to South Jersey to PERSONALLY replace the beer. 10/10 customer service, I got to enjoy a delicious dessert beer with my spouse. Will recommend it to *everyone* looking for dessert beer from now on.

NJ Beer Co., you have made a customer for life.

This dive bar is literally a hole in the wall! Enter through the loading dock! Huge brewery on the left, small bar to the right selling only the beer brewed on premises, to drink there, or take your beer to go. All the beers I tried were fragrant, tasty, fresh and beautiful. The service and decor is a little rough around the edges but friendly: the opposite of pretentious. The perfect antidote for trendy overpriced snobby bars like you might find in Hoboken. Address on Tonelle Av but enter on 43rd St.

Nice “hole in the wall” brewery. 12 beers on tap and amazing bbq food that isn’t part of the brewery since they cannot sell food. Plenty of cans to go an growlers available. All of the beer I had was good and I will revisit this place. Being honest though, they are not on the same level as Kane, Carton, Mangnify, Brix City just to name a few. To be fair those are upper echelon breweries in NJ.

Great atmosphere for such an unobtrusive location. The Weeheavy beer is amazing. Be careful though don't have too many. The staff is warm and welcoming. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Uber there and back and avoid the DWI risk.

Unfortunately, I have to add an addendum to my review as of 8/4/2022: the brewery has been running out of popular beers on tap consistently of late. There is no adequate air conditioning and no comfortable outside seating. The policies for the public regarding the lack of adequate beer selection, ie, providing substitute beers when preferred selections are not available are inconsistent. I would recommend visiting other local breweries if you can and I am lowering my review to 3 stars.

Unique and Extraordinary. After visiting 3 craft beer breweries in this area, I found NJ Beer Company to be the most unique and enjoyable. So, what makes this place different. First, when you arrive it’s not clear that you are at a brewery. Even local Uber drivers were like “that’s a brewery”? It’s a one of a kind entrance - down a side street with a large open warehouse half wall open to the street. Most important to me is the experience at the place. I was welcomed by Casey who was the bartender and a genuinely nice guy. He offered samples which I personally think is the best way to decide what to order. It was clear that this place attracts loyal locals that are fans of the beer and I somehow felt like they all welcomed me in a way that seemed unexpected for Jersey. Anyway, since this is a review of a brewery let me get to the main point, The Beer. It’s excellent quality and memorable. The Raspberry Vanilla Milkshake IPA was awesome and memorable. The blood orange cape cawd also excellent. But don’t get the wrong idea it’s not all trendy creative beers they also have super solid pilsners and stouts. Overall, a great place with really nice people, excellent beer and a unique vibe. If you happen to be in the are it’s definitely worth a try.

As a Jersey Boy this brand won my heart over at “Parkway Pilsner” and sealed it with their bold flavors! Very crisp & smooth ipa’s.

I was honored to sip a ‘Chairmen of the Gourd’ in Sinatra Park, Hoboken. The brewery is small but features a very cool tasting room with most of the NJ Beers on tap.

Extremely creative beer labels & cheers to the ‘Drink a Beer, Save the Shore’ ad campaign.

Hidden among a row of warehouses, NJ Beer Company is one of the best kept secrets on this side of the Hudson. Not that it should be a secret (their beer is fantastic) but it just feels secretive. As you enter, there is a fairly small bottling machine where, ostensibly, all of their product is capped, hand-packaged, then shipped. The brewery offers tours in the latter half of the week, when the brewery also functions as a bar. The people here are nice and helpful, the beer is good, what more could you want? They deserve to be bigger, but for now, the hyper-local setting is part of the appeal.
