Tried Amici in Little Italy for the first time and it was so good! I had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My friend, who recommended the spot for her birthday, shared some of her Gamberi Scampi with me. Top tier! We loved both dishes. The service was great, super attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. Appreciate the nice experience!

Initially, I gave Amici restaurant, four stars. Unfortunately, later that night. My son got severely sick. My wife, myself and my daughter also all got sick. The service was still great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Unfortunately something in the food was bad. It tasted great but something made us sick.

Visited for the first time from toronto. Great location and nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Tip is included which makes it easier for customers and fair for workers. I had to wait an awkward amount of time for my change though...we tried the pizza and I found the Margherita pizza to be very cheesy and resembled pizza pizzas cheese style... but I think that's an American thing. Not the style I'm used to, it made me sick afterwards. But there were a lot of people atthe restaurant so I'm sure other menu items were good.

Beware IT’S A TOURIST TRAP!! Don’t be fooled by a friendly stuff and good reviews, they serve FROZEN PIZZA FROM THE SUPERMARKET FOR 20 DOLLARS!!! Moreover, they charge you 20% tip!! The glasses were worn out and tables were sticky. Pasta and lasagna tasted like very poorly homemade dishes. The only good thing were the drinks, as it was probably the only fresh made item. My worst experience in NYC, don’t go!!

Awesome cool place. Manager grabbed me from the outside and welcomed me in before I walked in. He was doing that all morning in the street trying to get people to come in. Very cool and old school.

Food was very good and quick and not too expensive. They charged my phone as I was having phone issues in a city I’ve never been plus I was all alone

I had friends in from Nebraska and wanted to take them to an authentic Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Well, we definitely found it. Service was attentive, food came out quick, and the food was delicious. If you’re in little Italy and want an authentic experience, I recommend this restaurant.

Pessima esperienza a discapito delle altre recensioni.
Mangiato appiccicata ad altre due coppie, praticamente il mio tavolo era gomito a gomito ad un’altra cliente, locale minuscolo che non richiama nulla dell’Italia, sul soffitto avevano appeso delle orrende stelle filanti con pupazzi natalizi… il cibo lasciamo perdere! Prima di scrivere nei menu “authentic italian food” pensateci due volte.
Ho preso un piatto di pasta bolognese, il sugo era di una pesantezza indigeribile, mio marito una pizza margherita, CHIARAMENTE surgelata.
Mentre mangiavamo è entrata una band a suonare (in un locale , ricordo, minuscolo) che mentre girava per i tavoli ha fatto cadere a terra il mio pane… questo per far capire in che disagio accolgono i clienti.
Dulcis in fundo, per una pizza, un piatto di spaghetti e due calici di vino rosso abbiamo speso la bellezza di 98$.
(FUORI LA PORTA DI INGRESSO NON C’è APPESA NESSUNA LETTERA PER ISPEZIONE DI IGIENE…. ma se andate in bagno capite da soli perché)

We had a great experience at Amici Ristorante. The staff was warm and accommodating. Our server was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and spot-on with their recommendations. I came with my husband just 2 of us. But i dont know why they do put service charge for 2 people and it is 20%. Service charge usually for party (?) actually i am food vlogger , and want to post the food, but the way they did like that i just feeling not comfortable, i always do good tip but the way they did like that hmm ok.. anyway it samething 20% but i just know the restaurant put service charge for 2 people (?) the food is good.

A friendly restaurant in Little Italy with even littler portion sizes! I ordered a penne alla vodka and if you never watched the news before coming here, you'd think we're still in the 2008 recession! The food took a while to come but it was a packed restaurant so it was understandable. The staff were friendly and the food was good but it disappeared so fast that I forgot I ate it until I checked my bank account! 🤯 I recommend coming here if you're already full and want to experience tasty food with portion sizes competitive with even the most greedy of fine dining outlets. And don't forget, the generous staff already includes a 20% tip so start worrying about paying the bills!

Cozy little nook in the heart of Little Italy. We’ve been coming to Little Italy for years and this probably was the best place we’ve ever eaten at. We were quickly seated, service was friendly and quick, and the portions were large. Food was piping hot which we enjoyed on a chilly day. This will be our new spot to come to each year.

Atmosphere is a draw to come into AMICI. Unfortunately the food was not all that can be hoped for here in the Little Italy district of NYC. Our kids got one pizza each, falling well short of what NYC pizza offers, the ravioli and vodka penne were not too awesome…and the Lasagna was not too super to what we have had here this trip. The Burrata on the starter did not taste fresh either. So all in all, our hungry belly’s are full, but there is certainly disappointment for all as we conclude our meal here.

Leider enttäuschend. Der Wein (Montepulciano) war durchschnittlich, die homemade Gnocchi nichts besonderes. Wir vermuten , wie auch schon Vorgänger: keine frische Pasta, obwohl es so angepriesen wird! Und zum Schluss wurde uns noch ein Tip von 20%, welches wir bezahlen sollten, vorgegeben. Lieber das Lokal meiden.

We ordered the Marguerite pizza, the Amici pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. The mozzarella cheese on pizza was terrible. Tasted really bad and dough was uncooked. The pasta was ok. Service was ok. I asked our waiter for herbs or oregano for oil and left me hanging to go serve a new table. We will not comeback here.

Absolutely delicious food! One of the best Italian restaurants around the area. It is pricey and it is mandatory to pay a 20% tip. Also made a reservation but the table wasn’t prepared when we arrived. This was a letdown.

La comida es excesivamente cara para lo que es. La ensalada es un absoluto timo, todo lechuga y salsa y 1 anchoa, recalco: una sola anchoa por 12$. La pizza tiene un tamaño enano y tiene una pinta de estar precalentada…. No se de donde salen tantas reviews positivas en este sitio, nosotros sin duda no volveríamos.

Went here for a business lunch and oh man. The food was outstanding. Got a fantastic Cesar salad and a wonderful carbonara. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially this dish. I would go back without hesitation.

Sono stato a little Italy per l’ora di pranzo e ho dovuto mangiare lì anche se ad essere sincero non volevo perché essendo di Roma il posto dove si mangia meglio in Italia le mie aspettative erano molto basse, ho pranzato con una amatriciana e anche se la ricetta era bene lontana dall’originale perché la cipolla non ci va, il sugo era comunque buono e la pasta al dente. Quindi consiglio comunque questo ristorante ma dico a chi lo gestisce di rivedere i piatti e soprattutto di non fare la carbonara con la panna perché un romano ti da una testata.

Bekommen haben wir Tiefkühlpizza. Ekelhafter harter Boden, der Belag ging gerade noch…
Am schlimmsten fanden wir, dass bei der Rechnung der Tipp von 20% gleich mitberechnet wird. Ich glaube nicht, dass dieses Restaurant sonst Trinkgeld bekommen würde. Unverständlich woher die guten Bewertungen herkommen? Absolut negatives Erlebnis!

Katastrophe! Wir wurden mit den vermeidlich echten Bewertungen und der Versprechung hier gebe es die beste Pizza der Stadt in den Laden gelockt. Natürlich habe ich mir auch eine Pizza bestellt und nunja was soll ich sagen? Das ist keine frische italienische Pizza. Man konnte an den Löcher am Boden erkennen dass es sich um eine Tiefkühlprodukt handelt. Die Pizza war leicht verbrannt, hat nach nichts geschmeckt und war zudem noch sehr teuer. Als Europäer kann ich nur sagen dass dieses Restaurant eine Enttäuschung für die Italienische Kultur und das Essen ist. Die 20% Trinkgeld werden ohne Nachfrage einfach draufgeschlagen. Die guten Bewertungen sind meiner Meinung nach alle gekauft. Meiden sie dieses Restaurant!

Das Essen ist eine Beleidigung für jeden Italiener. Ich weiß nicht, wo die guten Bewertungen herkommen, vermutlich sind sie gekauft. Wir hatten Pizza, Spaghetti Carbonara, und Gnocchi. Die Pizza war eine aufgewärmte Billig Tiefkühlpizza, die Spaghetti Carbonara katastrophal fett und geschmacklos mit Sahne (Sahne hat in der Carbonara nichts verloren). Die Gnocchi waren gummi-artig, mit einer lieblosen Tomatensauce und tonnenweise Käse drüber. Außerdem noch teuer! Machen Sie einen Bogen um diesen Schuppen! Ein Stern ist noch zu viel!

Amici's was amazing. Homemade pasta, amazing sauces, and the staff was really friendly. We sat outside and they made sure we were comfortable, away from the crowds and had fans going. We'd been walking for hours when we got there and were super thirsty. They were on it with refilling our water which we appreciated. The portion sizes weren't overly large, but they weren't pretentiously small either. We all finished our meals and felt full, but not like we'd over done it. Best part was that as amazing as the food was, they didn't charge 100 bucks a plate like some places do.
