I ordered drunken noodles that come with vegetables but specified no meat because I'm a vegetarian. The noodles came with no vegetables, just plain. They should let people know when you say "no meat", you will not get any vegetables either.

Food was average, nothing special. Service was terrible. The four of us got our orders at four different times, making the first two people who got served first waiting a long time for the last person to also be served.
I got served someone else’s food and I was the last to be served with the correct order.
Not great at accommodating vegans either because quite a few of the sauces are ready-made.
I don’t think I’ll come back, it’s not worth it.

After my visit to Thailand, this is my favorite restaurant in New York. The food is affordable and flavorful. The space is so cozy and relaxing. Great for mommy & child outings. The service is good and the wait to order is not long. It is also great to order take out as the food arrives hot and holds the same flavor. My favorite platters are their fried rice, pad Thai, Thai ice tea, shrimp rolls, mango sticky rice and drunken noodles.

I had an amazing experience at 888 Hudson Thai in Manhattan! The Penang curry dish with jasmine rice was a flavor explosion – rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The combination of tender meat and aromatic rice was delightful. Additionally, the Thai iced tea was a perfect complement – sweet and refreshing. The ambiance and service were top-notch, making it a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend trying their Penang curry for a true Thai culinary delight!

Since moving to the neighborhood, I've found myself repeatedly drawn to Hudson Thai over any other restaurant on the block. They are everything you could want at your local eatery: delicious, fast, friendly, and very well priced. They've got the best happy hour in the neighborhood - love the Cucumber Cooler and Butterfly Sangria. However, the greatest asset of Hudson Thai is their diverse menu of delicious options - everything we've tried has been excellent. Love the Thai Peanut Dumplings and Chicken Satay. All of their sauted noodles dishes are great and filling. Big fan of their Pineapple Fried Rice and Spicy Basil Chicken. All in all, you can't go wrong with this place!

This is my local Thai joint and I order from here usually once a week. Their food has nice fresh herbs and isn't heavy, even the noodle dishes. They have great chef specials that aren't typical of what you find elsewhere. So glad to have them nearby.

The service is quick and friendly. The food is absolutely very flavorful I had the tangy chicken wid some white rice. The sauce on the chicken was sweet but I loved it. If your a coffee iced fan u must try the Thai ice coffee, calamar is just rice crispy and not too much breading. Thai dumplings hands down amazing.

We went for the lunch specials, which I must say are a very good value. I had the massaman curry with tofu, and it was okay. The sauce was kind of grainy-tasting, as if they'd thickened it with cornstarch or something (I am not saying they did — that's just what it tasted like to me.) A friend ordered the pad see ew with tofu and that was very tasty.

The service was friendly and quick, but after our initial order it was pretty difficult to get their attention again.

Review №53

My go-to place for Thai cravings.
Their cucumber cocktail is perfectly refreshing, not too sweet.
Food is great too, many vegetarian options. Dishes are not that spicy (unless you ask), but a bit too sweet to my taste, but not too bad to reduce their ratings.
I will be updating this review as I try more authentic Thai dishes.

If you are in uptown this is a good Thai food restaurant to try! Nice place, good service, fast and good food, very affordable! We had pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles, the noodles were very spicy, more than usual, but it was food overall.

Everyone has been impacted by inflation. But this HALF-FULL in a lunch-size box dish cost almost $19 dollars! And this is NOT even a lunch special! Worst of it, there are just a couple pieces of squid in there. What a rip off! The portion is ridiculous.

Server was rude for no reason. As I was waiting for to be seated she insisted a party was there before me, even after the party told her I was first. Did not apologize and insisted she was right. Would not come back here or recommend people to eat here.

Proving yet again that Hudson Heights is the stupidest restaurant neighborhood in New York City. Some don't seem to have any idea how to run a restaurant, a few seem like they had never even gone to a restaurant themselves. This is the latter.
