Half way through my soup I found a bug in it! I am so disgusted. I called back and they said it is garlic! Honestly it didn t even look like they washed the broccoli properly before cooking in it the soup! Straight nasty! In addition, the restaurant grade is pending. Picture attached!

The restaurant is so cute! I went there with my friends and we ordered takeout. When we were ordering, the cashier asked me, Do you want a regular order or a lunch special? Oh! They have a lunch special until 4 p.m. every day. The lunch special comes with a Veggie roll and you can upgrade to Thai Iced tea for only $2. I love it!

SO REGRETTING getting the Pad Thai from here. With the promise of bean sprouts and radish, there was none (it was in the menu description )? So there was Nothing fresh and no texture that you love in a Pad Thai. Just oily and sickly sweet noodles. Not even fresh lime to cut the sweetness. Just a little container of what tastes like older lime juice or bottled. I got the topping of crispy pork and even that was stale and hard to chew (theres no chewing through the crispy part, its like rubber). Like NO PART of this was good?

The customer service is beyond horrible and the food is not much better. On multiple times my girlfriend and I have ordered from here and stressed in our order and upon pickup that our food should be vegan. Each time we have been assured it would be only to get home and start eating and taste eggs or other non vegan items. For the first time I decided to not take the loss but to get a refund and when i got there I was told that eggs are vegan and would not be excluded even though we were assured the items were vegan. I tried unsuccessfully to explain that eggs are not vegan. But she insisted that her top customer is vegan and eats eggs. What that has to do with me I ll never know but then again I ll never come back here AGAIN

Very kind and fast service but the food is terrible and overpriced. The crab Rangoon tastes like hot cream cheese and sardines left out in the sun and it was 7.50 without tax. You get 5 of them and there is no crab inside. The drunken noodle just tastes like soy sauce and hot sauce put together. Its very watered down and lacks any complexity of flavor. Tastes nothing like the drunken noodle Ive had at other and more authentic places. This craptastic meal set me back 27 dollars without the tip and I didnt eat any of it because it was disgusting. If you want Thai in Harlem try Tung Thong instead.

This is the worst Thai restaurant in the Washington Heights area and that I have ever personally tried. Greasy pad Thai, grey-colored, and odd-textured chicken (looks very much like old and spoiled chicken). This same grey-colored chicken was added to their odd-tasting Tom Kha soup. The best Thai tea I ve had in a long time!! The food was also good and the chicken Pad Thai was not dry which seems to be the problem in many places. The reason I only gave it 4 stars was because I did taste a hint of shrimp when it was supposed to be chicken I do love shrimp but I have to be in the mood for it so it was a bit disappointing to taste it when the desired taste was chicken. was a regular customer here.. upon the last delivery order, the delivery person very rudely shoved a menu in my face, aggressively pointing out that I am outside of their delivery zone (by 5 blocks) and that I was inconveniencing them for ordering delivery. I understand that that is the case, but I was ordering from them multiple times a week through Seamless which showed that I was in their radius. Perhaps get your Seamless listing sorted out instead of having your employees shouting at regular customers that they are inconveniencing you by literally just providing you business. food is absolutely mediocre and in some cases awful but very cheap.

Love SUROSS Thai! So much that I ve ordered 2 times this week and many times before that! I usually get the Pad Thai or Green Curry + Spring Rolls. I also love their Thai Tea with milk. Their delivery is super prompt and the food comes packaged well. When I ve ordered take out, it s usually available immediately- though if you order for an 11am pickup when they open, it may be a few mins after. I recommend placing the order on their website instead of Seamless etc because it s better for them AND they give you a slight discount! I really love their lunch specials that start at $8.95 on weekdays and include a full size entree, a small side salad and a veggie spring roll. It s a killer deal.

I have ordered 3x from this place, and I wont again. The food doesnt truly represent Thai food. I think that calling it Thai food os an attention grabber- a bait and switch. This is a step up from Chinese takeout and not in a good way. They are in inconsistent in their food- one day you get Jasmin rice another day regular white rice. Their garlic chicken was tasteless, and gummy. It didnt even look like chicken. They are stingy in their portions. They serve a few pieces of your choice of protein with lots of veggies. Im not impressed, not pleased and wont waste my money.

We did not enjoy some of the food like the tofu because it was extremely greasy and tasteless. Some of the soups, like the coconut soup, were awful, and the chicken stalk was horrible and spoiled. When we ordered the meal, the only thing we were okay with was the rice and vegetables/seafood mix. We strongly do not recommend this restaurant. Instead, we believe a more enjoyable meal would come from a Chinese or Japanese take out place!

I was happy to see a new Thai restaurant while walking last night. However, NYC Thai food is usually not that good, so I was skeptical, but eager to try it. For $8-$10, the lunch special is a very good deal. From 12pm-4pm, you get a bottle of water, a salad, choice of appetizer, and entree. So far I have had well over a dozen Spicy Basil dishes here, a Rama dish, a few rice dishes, plus spring rolls and gyoza. The food here is much better than at Tung Thong 181. However, as is typical in New York, the dishes sometimes contain a bit too much salt and soy sauce. If they tone those down, theyll have a much better taste experience. Otherwise the food is very fresh, and I tend to come back here at least 1x-2x a week (although the cashiers never seem to recognize me, lol). The place is very small inside and has only a few tables. The inside also has a faux rustic feel which looks a bit silly (youll see what I mean). Still, its pleasant enough if you can get a seat. Otherwise I imagine theyll thrive as a take out place. Now if we can only get a Trader Joes in Washington Heights! Then were set.

We visited on a weekend for brunch. The inside was surprisingly small, since I was expecting a full-on restaurant type eatery. It seems that most businesses they have are either pick up or delivery. They did have a couple of small tables, and a small counter seating by the window. They have some enticing lunch special menu at great price, and our luck would have it, they offer it for brunch too! They come with complimentary side salad, a choice of starter, and a water. The water can be upgraded to Thai Iced Tea or Soda for additional cost. We got the Thai Iced Tea (additional $2 for upgrade from water). It was really good, kind of nutty, and very sweet as expected. We had Vegetable Gyoza and Fried Tofu as starters. They were small in portion, but they are starters... Gyoza were steamed, not fried. Tofu were very firm, with a bit of kick to it from the tasty sauce. For main, we had Massaman Curry with Fried Fillet Fish, and Street Pork Noodle Soup. Curry was coconut-y and sweet, but not too sweet. Nice amount of rice and loads of lightly fried white fish, which was very tasty! The Noodle Soup was so good! Light with almost translucent broth and noodle, not heavy at all. Earthy and comfy, very homey and flavorful. It was very satisfying, we were full with just a little over $20! The female staff was very friendly and welcoming also, we will be sure to return!

The sweetest servers Ive ever seen in fast-food. Since their opening, they have been welcoming even when I was not going to order. The food is clean but it wasnt the flavorful Thai fried rice that I expected.

Great lunch special! The gyoza and garlic chicken were delicious and only $8, with a good portion size. Will definitely be coming back to try other things! There are 2 two-person tables inside and 3 barstools so not a ton of seating, but it wasnt too busy.
