We went there for the Monday all day happy hour. But the beer was $9 each. So we werent so happy. I bought grilled chicken sandwich and it was just ok, my fries were great. My husbands burrito wss excellent

We used to come here a lot, but started having a couple small issues with food quality and consistency. Not bad enough to complain or make a stink, but just enough to not order those particular dishes anymore and lose confidence in the place. Service has never faltered, however. You even see the on-duty managers frequently interacting with customers on the floor, which is great for business. Recently, we had New Year's eve reservations and then had the specials yesterday. Both times our food was great, again! The Shrimp Diablo is our ** absolute ** favorite, but the sauce quality, quantity and dish consistency was waning for a bit. It could have been new staff, or just lack of training, but it sure seems like they got it together and now, we can count on our food being great every time! BRING BACK THE BREAD PUDDING!!!

Food was ok and served very fast.

Inattentive server apparently went out for a smoke and then came back in and bathed in cheap perfume.

She checked on me once about 10 minutes after I got my food and then stopped by yo give me my check. Never asked if I wanted another drink or dessert.

I paid with my phone and she never stopped back to say thanks or check on me despite the fact that she was still serving other tables nearby.

Our very first visit was awesome. Staff were super friendly, they introduced us the special chicken fried steak.
The meal was great, I love the mashed potato with season green beans.
The dessert, we ordered the raspberry and cheese cake egg rolls. It's a really interesting meal, fun to try.

Very clean up to date place. Friendly and wonderful customer service. Bartender Alexis was very attentive to her customers. I'll definitely be back. I had the fried pickles. They were different than I'm used to. They were really good. I enjoyed my visit.

This place was fantastic. We are staying at the Americinn hotel and the girls at the front desk recommend this place and we weren't disappointed. Fabulous food the the employees are really friendly, food was fabulous and you get popcorn when you're seated. I highly recommend.

This is a Great Place to Visit for Getting Together with Friends or Making New Ones. I've Been Here Several Times over the Last Could of Years and it's Always a Good Experience at Players. You Can Stop in After Church for Lunch, After Work When You Don't Feel Like Cooking or Just Stop By for a Drink with a First Date. Always a Great Idea to Come Here. Plus, They Love Veterans and First Responders. If You See Rob, Tell Him Andrew Sent You.

Good food but 3 different staff members not very knowledgeable about gluten free even though they have a separate gluten free menu. Nobody knew if the free popcorn they serve was gluten free or not.

Travelling through and would’ve loved to try this place. Walked in and sign stated to seat ourselves. Went to lounge side and sat in a booth. Four people working, all made eye contact and no one came over as we sat there for 15 minutes. Got up and left.

The service was great. The Mac and cheese balls where delicious appetizers. I ordered the fish and chips. They were glorified fish sticks that were soggy almost immediately when I got them. And I didn't like the frys. Daughters burger was alright. I plan on trying the place one more time because they have a good menu.

Noone acknowledged us. Bartender looked at us a few times, the server also saw us and proceeded to wait on another couple, that came in 10 min. After we got there. After close to 20 min. We got up and left. Very disappointed... Shameful!😬

In all there reviews I read it said they had lobster today I drove 1:38 min to dickinson to try there lobster they didn't have it. So I decided to try some of there other seafood it was okay there staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely.

This place really has little luster. Decent drinks,not excellent, the food is generally par or sub par. Service has friendly folks but it's always a significant wait and many times the plates come out of the kitchen hot but the food is barely warm soo microwave a plenty? For as nice of a building it's truly unimpressive.

So cold in there I took my food to go not only me but every patron had on thick jackets. I stayed only to eat my fries while hot in 5 min grease sticks I want to be comfortable not sit all bundled up where I’m using the sleeves of my jacket to hold my drink feels like a meat locker

We have been going to Players for 10 years. Unfortunately the last 3 times we had bad service. We had to get our own appetizer plates because they forgot to get them. The food has gone down the drain. I do like the addition of a salad bar, but keep that nasty lettuce out. Also the ranch dressing was so thin and had no flavor. The wait staff disappeared after our food was brought out. We needed ranch dressing and more drinks. Not a fan of the small menu. I must say the Sunday night prime rib was good. But you better get there early or it will be gone. I hope that you add items and improve your current food. We will miss you until then.

I took my wife to eat dinner we were treated to a delicious meal with amazing service from the hostess and the waitress everything was great and the entire atmosphere was very enjoyable! I would recommend Players for anyone looking for a nice meal in a great place with great service!

Very nice interior design, it’s nice to be completely separated from the bar when you have kiddos with you. Kinda spendy, but well worth every penny.

Outstanding. Perfect. Great service, environment and holy baked potato! The loaded BP was phenomenal. The beef tips were so savory.
They have a great beer selection and a very tasty margarita.

Waited 45 minutes for a BLT during lunch and the place hardly had anyone in it. Saw other people going up to the bar to ask for refills because servers just weren't around. Usually I like this place but today was horrible.

We had a ladies lunch, and it was great! The service was a bit slow, but not unbearable. The food was good. The portions were HUGE! Overall, it was a good experience. I'd go again.

Atmosphere was a bit noisy but it is a sports bar & grill and it was in the evening, so that goes without saying. Food and service were very good! Thinking back, I attended my 50th high school reunion there, it was very good back then as well.

My husband and I had dinner at your restaurant last night. It was so good! I had the salmon and my husband had the elk burger. Both were delicious. Service was excellent! I don't know if it was the owner, chef or manager but he came out and talked to us to make sure we had a good experience. Definitely my new favorite bar and grill in Dickinson! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. 10 out of 10! Thank you for a great date night for our anniversary

Have been here a few times for food. First time years ago it was miserable. This time around the food was edible but that's the extent. Stacy or Stacie the event manager and Wayne are the only good thing about my second experience. My opinion but I am not sure how anyone would like the food here. Just that nobody knows what good food is in this state. Updating again as the food quality keeps going down hill. You CAN'T serve pizza that if cooked right would be very good but since the dough was still RAW, show the manager, and never asked if I wanted a new one just says I am sorry and never even offers more than that for a $20+ pizza. I have given this place several chances throughout the past couple years and it always disappoints for food. ALWAYS. 2 stars because on and off the people that work there are friendly so 2 stars is even a stretch. Ah hell with it 1 star. Haaaa they don't deserve any more than that.

Had to send the warm bisque back, I like hot soup for some strange reason. Food was ok. The baked potato was cut like a Picasso painting just to be fancy but made it awkward to eat.

Players came highly recommended by the locals. I was not disappointed. The bar area is huge with plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu is not lacking for options. The food was beyond incredible. I really enjoyed every aspect of my dining experience.

Shared a meal with friends while visiting. The wait for a table on a busy night can be long so be prepared. Once seated, our party ordered drinks and food in a reasonable amount of time. We waited for the food for about 30 minutes before we said anything to the server (who seemed stressed due to covering a large section on a busy night). When it came the fries were soggy. This place seems short staffed and hectic, very loud on both the bar side and dining side on the weekend. Haven't eaten in the party area so can't comment for that part of the restaurant... This place was simply okay for the price, wait time, noise level, and food quality.

Food and dining experience has gone downhill. This place has great food but the service is hit or miss. My dining party tried to speak with a manager about our concerns with the poor quality of food and were met with an attitude. For the price, the service and food should be better.

Usually I enjoy going here, however there seems to be a shift. Very long wait that exceed an hour, food only fraction of the size and quality left a lot to be desired. Service was okay but didn't make up for the shortfalls at all.

Horrible service! We sat at a table in the bar; waited about 10 minutes and finally went up to the bar and ordered drinks. There were plenty of staff standing around. After 1/2 hour a server took our order. We saw our drinks sitting on the bar so I went and got them. We ordered 2 apps and after 1 hour; no food. We paid for our drinks and left without eating. So dissatisfied!!

GM Crystal....Sat for a nice expensive meal and heard all about orientation, secret recipes, parking policies, call in shift coverage etc.....use an office...customers come to enjoy their meal....most unprofessional ever...and so rude we ended up taking it to go so we could enjoy our meal

I have a true love of a good Rueben sandwich. As such, that is exactly what I ordered. Given the price and atmosphere, I did not expect an obviously pre-packaged, thin sliced meat (corned beef?) with chunks of Sauerkraut that were better for a salad than a sandwich on very ordinary toasted Marble- Rye bread. Really poorly executed.

Food was way over priced for what it was. The waitress that brought our food out to us grabbed cheese that was connected to my burger that had got stuck on another plate with her fingers and put it back on my plate. Will not go back.

This place has consistently gone down hill. Every time we go in there the service is slow and the food is subpar. We thought maybe doing a to go order would help us enjoy the food a little more since we don’t have to deal with the sloth service but turns out they gave our go order to someone else. Save your money on their overpriced meals and just go to Applebees. It’s basically the same microwaved food at both restaurants anyways.

Average sports bar fare. Service was okay. Asked for a table, but offered a booth. Asked for a table again for our group of 6, but it was too much effort to push two tables together so they sat us at a large booth. The center area with all the tables was empty on a Tuesday evening.
When paying, had to ask for the kids meal to be taken off, on “Kids Eat Free Tuesday”.

Had the calimari appetizer, it was actually great! But the service was slow and inattentive, took 15 to 20 mins for drinks, and neither my Diablo Shrimp or my friends fish and chips were amazing. Would I go back, probably, but this place is more just a bar that serves food. Oh yeah the atmosphere is great! Hamburgers are greasy and raw. ***Edit: Been back three times with various friends. Only thing I can recommend is the Calzone but it is child sized. I had the chipped beef once and I'm pretty sure it was Alpo. But my favorite experience was when I looked at my check and saw I was billed for things that never showed up! I'll go back as there are only so many options in Dickinson, but it could be a lot better with better staff.
