I got the 'make your own' omelette and it was excellent!
Plus the toast made from their homemade bread was a nice added touch 🫶
My man's sausage gravy over biscuits didn't last long on his plate either!

I made reservations 2 weeks in advance for 6 to 8 people, when we got there it was packed, but we were seated right away, the hostes ask where our 2 extra guess were, she said we need the extra little table, I replied they may be here and if not we need that table for the cake and presents we have, it was my sons 30th birthday, 30 minutes while we were STILL waiting on our food she came over and told my son they needed that LITTLE table, I didn't hear her, next thing I know she was talking the cake off the table! We we all cramped together because she took that table after I told her we needed it, and then the other 2 people were coming to have cake with us and they couldn't because she took the table after I told her not toooooooo! So we had to leave and go somewhere else to have the cake! We waited 2 hours to get our food and it was cold, so thanks for running my sons 30th birthday! I'll never go back to that dive ever! Get some manners, the lady knows exactly who I'm talking about! And it was no fault of our waitress, I left a very good tip!

What a great place to eat. The food was delicious, portions generous, and the prices were excellent, especially for the quality of the food. It has a cool, comfortable vibe too.

My father and I stopped in the other day for breakfast, the food was amazing , sweet tea was on spot . The waitress was extremely nice. Very easy to get to.

One of very few places open for breakfast on a Sunday. Still very mediocre food, was hoping they had improved. Biggest concern was lack of regard for social distancing. 2 out of 9 workers wore a mask. The tables and bar were loaded with customers and it seemed like too many for such a small space. No curbside service. Don't recommend as long as there is a pandemic at large. Plus the food isn't worth it either.

We live in Dover an come every weekend to eat last weekend an this weekend hair was found in my food..the cooks don't wear hair nets or pull their hair back..Every restaurant I have ever worked you pull your hair up an back wear a hair net or hat..This happens way to often threw the years of coming there but literally 2 weekends in a row I got the cooks hair in my French toast an today in my eggs..

We were in town for a game and stopped for breakfast. I judge every restaurant by their biscuits and gravy for breakfast and their reuben sandwich for lunch/dinner. Mindy's biscuits and gravy were PERFECT. Coffee was great as well, and my wife really liked her breakfast sandwich. Prices are super affordable and the service was on point.

Couldn't be happier! Dover, you guys got a gem of a restaurant in your downtown!

As an optimistic person of mixed race/brown skin, I couldn’t help but notice I was being treated differently than everyone else in the storefront when I came in some time ago. I’m always kind and respectful to people I come across, and I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt, racism is my last resort …but here? I was not surprised to find another review pointing out the same racist tendencies. No changes have been made since the last black family’s review from my perspective. Disgraceful. Hoping you guys grow and figure this out because I’m sure this spot isn’t all bad, but wow, what an obvious issue.

Got in right when they opened and a line was already formed. Quality over quantity with selection. Mostly chocolate covered goodies, with nuts.

Me and my wife stopped in Saturday morning because our old place was busy and we might have a new breakfast place now. Loved it. I'm not really sure what the bad reviews were about but I didn't see or feel in anyway a bad vibe. Sometimes people need to relax and enjoy life and be thankful for others.

My wife and I randomly stopped in here for lunch only to find exactly what we wanted. This is a classic diner with classic diner food and prices. We loved our soup, sandwiches, and fries. It's comfort food, done right.

Horrible experience. We are a black family and it seemed as if they didn’t want us in the restaurant. Also the food was very dry and the omelette was horrible. If you are black don’t waste you time at this Prejudice place. All the other patrons were white.

Saw the good ratings on this place and decided to give it a try. Breakfast was excellent, but it was the vibe of the place that earned the 5 stars. The staff was fabulous and you could tell they like working with each other and enjoyed serving the customers. Would go here often if we lived close by!

Very good fresh home cooked food. My husband had the hamburger gravy and loved it. I had a egg salad sandwich òn there homemade bread and freshly made potato chips. Service was good too!!

I used to like going in here. The last two visits were not very good. We had terrible service and I had to get my husband's coffee because our waitress was no where to be found. Unfortunately I probably won't be back.

Great hometown Diner with that old school feel and pizzazz. Service is friendly and good and the food will definitely fill your belly.
It could use with a little updating with new tables and chairs, but all in all it's pretty awesome!

What a little treasure! We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed great breakfast and outstanding service at Mindy’s! Meat Lovers’ omelette was delicious and their homemade sourdough toast is out of this world!!

Food was good service was terrible. Sign says please wait to be seated, yet they pointed to a table and told us we could sit there. When waitress came to get our order she was very rude and disrespectful. When our food came they did not do my order correctly and when asked about it waitress got an attitude yet again. On top of she handed our plates to us as she informs us the plates are hot. She did not refill any of our drinks until our food was gone. The worst service I have ever encountered anywhere. I will not be coming back because of the service their food was very good though. Which is the only reason ive given two stars otherwise it’d be one.

Phenomenal place to grab a bite. Mya and Toni are the best. Feels like you are part of their family. The breakfast casserole on the weekend is soooo good. It’s usually when we go. Their homemade white bread is the best bread I’ve ever had. Prices are reasonable and the portions are a good size. Highly recommend!
