Hi! STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!! This was an incredible, random, hidden gem that we stumbled upon. The flavor is all there and service was great. Garlic bread, broccoli cheddar soup, shrimp scampi, sun dried tomato chicken sandwich, gnocchi with meat sauce, and baci pasta with chicken. All of it was so, so good. I cannot say enough about this place. The environment was so nice; seating was clean and fancy. The paintings and designs were unique. Our waitress, Emily, was sweet and attentive. The chef came out and greeted us and other guests!! This alone should tell you it's a personable place that takes its guests seriously and wants to make them happy. Highly recommend a desert too!

Delicious. The portobello bruschetta is always good. Also, the chicken Alfredo is unique with the mushrooms, but it’s good. The parking is horrible though. There’s only a small amount in the back; Krocker’s has the majority and you can’t park in the Eagles lot. They have a good amount of gluten free pasta options too if that’s a concern.

What a delight to find this hidden gem. Food was very good in all areas. Presentation to taste. Quantity was more than plenty. Service was very professional and knowledgeable of the menu selections. I will eat here again and again. Parking a bit tricky but available.

We’ve been here many times and it is still my favorite! The food is amazing from presentation to taste and you can definitely tell it’s homemade. I highly recommend the salmon with crab! Never had a bad meal here. This place is definitely a hidden gem!

The food is always incredible. Great portions for the price. Drinks are amazing. Service is wonderful. The music is a bit loud during dinner hours sometimes, but that's kind-of everywhere these days.

Wow! The food was ABSOLUTELY amazing!! It was our first time visiting this restaurant and we came on a Saturday night, dinner time. It was busy, but they were able to seat us right away (party of 2). The service was wonderful. Our server even mentioned that it was only her second night there on the job, but she was very attentive and kept our drinks full, etc. My husband ordered a steak, and it was cooked perfectly! We had a delightful dining experience our very first time. My husband's coworker recommended we try El Hefe. The food was fabulous. The romaine salad was so crisp and fresh. Their balsamic dressing was fresh and bright. Exrra yummy! I had the El Hefe Pasta: "done-just-right" penne pasta and chicken in a spicy, creamy tomato sauce! That El Hefe sauce was worth the trip. Reasonably priced (a steal actually) with a warm, family vibe. The service was perfection. The owner, Tony, came to our table to ask if we enjoyed our first dining experience. Bravo El Hefe.

It was a delightful experience at an exceptional value. The quality of the food qualifies for fine dining. The service was flawless and family friendly. The pasta dishes were refreshing, each sauce had a unique and individual taste. They have the skill and take the time to prepare dishes that are special.

Food came out quick, I mean quick like microwave quick, and it tasted like it too. Also the service was actually foul we were the only ones in there and the server didn't take a single plate we had to get her to get our water. And almost had to go get her for the check too. 80 bucks for food I can definitely make better at home

Got the lasagna and it was delicious. Our waitress struggled a bit to keep up with her tables so the service wasn’t the best. The owner came through the restaurant to talk to everyone and I thought that was wonderful. Atmosphere was great. Will come back!

This restaurant gives the appearance that it is serving Mexican food. However, they serve spaghetti and fried appetizers. I ordered a alcohol drink and later asked for another. The waitress said you can't have another "you're drunk". So if you want to have more than one beer don't go here.

I've tried this restaurant twice. The first time I really didn't like the food. The second time the food was OK. We hear lots of good from our friends, but so far we haven't been impressed. Nothing was terrible, but I haven't seen anything I need to go back for yet. The atmosphere is fine, the bar looks inviting if you're there for that!

I had the chicken alfredo and it was absolutely delicious. The side salad you got with dinner was absolutely beautiful. It's a perfect portion of salad and not a huge salad they have white French dressing which was delicious

Been wanting to come here a while.
Now we know where not to go.
I can't image what their kitchen looks like.
My girlfriends frozen burger had cartilage all in it an they didn't want to give us new food.
Charged me 75 cents for each sauce even after we sent back the burger to get more wings. (they were freezer burnt)
Our 10 dollar margaritas were nasty with cheap liquor gave me a headache. We love going out an spending money at places when it's worth it we felt very uncomfortable here table was sticky it was just a bad time. Won't be back 0/10 pretty sure there was a table of managers just talking and not doing their job while the 2 servers were handling everything. What a waste of money.

Steak, it's what's for breakfast, when you have to work and didn't have time to make anything else. Leftover Marsala Steak from EL Hefe. I admit, I'm a steak snob. I usually only like filet....and I usually make it at home....from steaks that I buy from a locally owned small business/market back in Indiana. I stock up on them anytime I'm back in Indiana. I have to tell you that this is the first steak that I have had out at a restaurant, in literally years, that I have actually liked and enjoyed. This steak was phenomenal, even reheated the next day, and it wasn't even a filet! I totally recommend! Run....don't walk to EL Hefe!

Definitely recommend. They have been open for 2 years now, and we had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If looking for a local and small place to enjoy a drink and meal, then this is the place. The meatball sliders are killer. Parking is a little problem, but once you find a spot, it'll be worth it.

Ordered a stake tasted like Swiss stake didn’t even cook it to what I asked, the sauce tasted like powdered gravy, then when I sent it back and wanted to order a burger they wanted to charge me the 17.99 stake dinner I stead of the price of the burger and said they wouldn’t charge me for the burger. The pasta dish my girlfriend ordered was hard noodles and taste badly. Won’t go back and don’t advise others to waste money there. Garbage

Everything is great here, but the confusing thing is the name is El Heffe so you think it's Mexican and it's not it's more Italian, the inside decor doesn't really go with the type of restaurant that it is, I mean there are skeletons on the wall. That is the only thing that bothers me. Food, fantastic, Service, fantastic decor and name a bit disconnected

My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by our first visit to this restaurant. The food was amazing as was the service. The meals came out looking like art! Do yourself a favor and stop out there for lunch or a dinner date. We’ll be going back for sure.

We tried El Hefe for NYE, and it did not disappoint. They were very busy, but the staff and owner were pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The food and drinks were amazing, so nice to have something different in Tuscarawas Co. We will be returning!

I would give ZERO stars if possible. Terrible service, the food was so bad it’s laughable that this place is even in business. And the atmosphere? They were noisily moving several chairs and tables right next to us the entire time we (the only people in there) then spreading tablecloths and setting the tables, running vacuums, talking, arguing? Loud and totally oblivious to our presence there.

Our experience was incredible! We were there celebrating a birthday with a large group of people. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the food was unreal. Everyone loved the lamb chops that were on special, but if not, I highly recommend the pork ribeye.

The pork sirloin is the best anywhere. So tender you don't need a knife to cut it. Taste fantastic. The 11 oz sirloin is also excellent great flavor an extremely tender. . Definitely worth ordering again. We've never had a bad meal and the staff is very good.

We got sat down by a host. We then were at our table sitting down for 15 Minutes! Keep in mind, we had no waitor/waitress greet us. We tried to get multiple workers attention but we were ignored. Terrible service, we are very disappointed!

Great Italian food! The ribeye is awesome and so is the chicken marsala! The crab cakes have no filler and are great. They're closed on Mondays. Check it out you won't regret it! Good pricing and great food! Will go back often!

Was in from outta town. Searched for Mexican food, Google let me down. Walked into a cool place, appeared to be Mexican. Was disappointed when we looked at the menu, but we were hungry. Ended up eating average italian and burgers. We should've got the food truck next door!

El Hefe exceeded my expectations. I was reluctant to try it. Is this a Mexican themed Italian restaurant? Skeptical. And maybe cranky because it seems like everything is pizza, Italian, Mexican, burgers and basic American food around here. I've been twice now, and Hefe stands out from the pack. High-quality ingredients, big flavors, nice menu variety, great beer and cocktail menu, all at good prices. Yes, please. I tend to order like I may never eat again, so I tried a lot of things in my two visits. Apps: calamari, shrimp scampi, crab cakes, and clams. Seafood in Ohio can be it or miss. They all hit, great sauce pairings with everything, nothing tasted fishy or frozen. Next, big Ribeye (under $20, nice), pork ribeye (beautiful mushroom sauce), a Mahi special, grilled red snapper. All winners. Dinner salads aren't thrown together iceberg lettuce. The wedge, Ceasar, and house were all nice. Veggie side - I often feel like a get frozen veg with a bunch of butter and salt. Nope. Fresh, well seasoned, cooked just right. Home made redskin mash. Good marinara and pasta (gonna try more of these). They have like like 6 or 7 unique margaritas and mojitos (with a bar that is truly stocked with, like better than most bars around here). Might as well get the homemade strawberry banana cake, also great. Tony the manager and Dave the bartender were welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking across the street. Interior is upscale, artistic, and fun. Pick something that sounds good to you, and I bet it is. I'll be back for the rest of the menu, my new favorite spot.

Amazingly consistently good food and we eat here several times a month. Pork Ribeye and Salmon are the best you will find anywhere. Pineapple Mohitos are amazing! The Mahi Mahi special the month of March is 2nd to none. Trying to convince them to add it to their menu. 😋

Food was amazing! The atmosphere is really cool. Our server seemed like she might have been newer or maybe in the weeds but still did an ok job. The risotto balls were crispy, delicious, and paired perfectly with it's sauce. Meatball sliders were juicy, cheesey and the bread was super soft. The wings were huge and juicy, jefe sauce was amazing! My ribeye was a little under done but was super tender and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely be coming back!

Great place for pasta. A friend ordered a steak and it was too tough to even cut let alone eat. They exchanged it for chicken alfredo and she was very happy with it. I would go back and try more from their menu though.

There were children working on a Saturday night at 8pm at a bar. The food tasted like it had been reheated and it was a Mexican restaurant that served Italian food and somehow just a bar? The bar was impressive however the rest was awful.

Great bar style restaurant that is family friendly. I love the lunch fish sandwich and the pork ribeye is fantastic as well. I've been consistently impressed with the service and the food. The only tip I have is that the El hefe house sauce may be spicier than anticipated you can ask to have it with less heat.

Absolutely Disgusting! Not a fan! Don't waste your Time or Money. The Margarita was not good (how can you mess up a margarita) and the meatball sliders were not "Meat" absolutely yuk!
We paid our bill (which waas $30 for a drink & appetizer) & left after that and won't be going back!

Asked for a different dressing when the salad was ordered. Was told it was too late to correct it. Told the waiter there was an allergy and he fixed it immediately.

We had wings with the El Hefe sauce, gnocchi, wedge salad, and El Hefe burger with fries. Everything was 10/10 amazing! The service was quick and the atmosphere was great. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the high quality. A great asset to the community and we can’t wait to go back!

Sadly disappointed. Pasta tasted like it had been cooked hours before and left in a warmer. (G&O) pasta. Minimal and low quality toppings, sun dried tomatoes, olives, and a single piece of artichoke. “Fresh garlic” was obviously from a jar and tasted terrible. Chicken was terrible and tasted like frozen precooked chicken strips that were microwaved. I understand they are new but it was really bad. Staff was nice, but confused being new.

We found our new favorite spot! Beautiful margaritas that were made with fresh fruit and delicious, and probably the best burger I’ve had in a ver long time. Service was amazing and so friendly. So good we called our friends to meet us!

Very quiet, dark atmosphere, great place to get away from the crazy bustle of the day. The menu is small and itialian based but I'm sure it will get bigger as the restaurant grows.

Everything was clean and staff was friendly. Food was fantastic; very well made.

Really excited to have a new restaurant in Dover. The vibe is Mexican but the food is Italian??

I had the dragon fruit and coconut mojitos. Both were delicious. They even include the raw sugar cane.

The calamari appetizer was delicious. Comes with 2 sauces. The El Hefe sauce is pure magic.

Then we had the burgers. They were perfectly cooked and have just the slightest hint of smokiness. It was everything I want in a burger.

Lots of menu options and great service. I can't wait to come back and try more. This might be my new fave local spot.
