A lot of coffee options, prices are about the same as other coffee shops around. Location is convenient especially if you live in the apartments in or around Bridge Park. A good place to come and work with a laptop, plenty of outlets and free WiFi. Drinks are good and service is friendly, however customizations can get a bit pricey. I’ve noticed they sometimes charge extra for asking for less syrup than the standard amount a drink comes.

I have come here a few times hoping it would get better and it’s always just mediocre. I have tried over 20 coffee shops in Columbus so I feel like I have a good gauge on quality. The iced drinks are always very bitter. I bit the bullet and tried the cold foam for $1.25 extra and there was probably only a tablespoon in my drink and made no difference to the cold brew. The cinnamon pull apart is my favorite thing here, but they rarely have it available when I go

I inquired whether there were any cookies remaining, to which the barista responded affirmatively, indicating that they were frozen. This left me somewhat perplexed, as I had anticipated warm cookies rather than frozen ones, expecting customers to heat them themselves. Nevertheless, I proceeded to buy the frozen cookie and attempted to thaw it in the microwave for one minute. Regrettably, the cookie became burnt, and the woman with black hair I believe her name is Alice displayed an unpleasant demeanor due to the mishap.

Beware of the owner- needs to take a course on how to present ideal customer service

This one star rating is directly related to service, as the manager/owner approached our party of two with a rude tone and attitude to remind us that we needed to order if we were going to be seating at the table. Although I certainly have no problem with such a policy, I do take issue with the way in which it was enforced. It was clear to us that her assumption was that our party was there simply use the table without ordering anything, when in reality we were waiting for the line to get shorter while we got our meeting going. We have patronized this business in the past and kept coming back because of the atmosphere and good customer service from the staff, but after this unpleasant experience we will not be returning nor we will be recommending it to other out of town business personnel. It was certainly disappointing to see this lack of customer service skill from someone in a leadership position.

I’ve been going to this sweetwaters since it opened up in 2018. I love their mocha ice dragons and their dreamy cold brews are so good!! The cafe itself is a great place to study and do work as well if it’s not too busy.

To be frank, this was my second home in high school. I would come and study here during the week and on weekends. I wrote all of my college applications and even took my high school graduation pics here. While it sounds cheesy, the welcoming atmosphere of this place and sense of calmness and peacefulness this place has brought is something that I would’ve never expected from a coffee shop. I have great memories of studying, either by myself or with friends, here. I always come back and visit when I’m home :)

This coffee shop is very cute! My first time visiting. I got a lemon bar and a frappe. Both were good. As far as the lemon bar I would have like more lemon flavor and less powdered sugar. I stopped in on my lunch break and while eating the lemon bar powdered sugar was flying everywhere and got all over my work pants. Black pants. So yea I was embarrassed for the day.

Ordered a large coffee with lite ice and received a cup only 3/4 full. When asked why my cup wasn’t full, I was told she could add more ice. I guess I’m confused as to why you offer a specific drink size but when charged $8 for a coffee, you’re not allowed a full cup of coffee? Even more confusing is the fact that you have a picture of cold brew on the wall menu which is completely full and has no ice in it at all? When I questioned the server further she replied “that’s just the way we do it”…. With that, it’s still ok to ask for a tip with every order:/

I know the owners of these sweet water coffee shops and they are kind and compassionate unlike the black girl I just encountered at the bridge water one! I was sitting there looking at the menu and turned to see her looking at me like I was retarded and waisting her time! Then without any greeting says; “what can I get you”, with the nastiest attitude and demeanor ever. Then when I greeted her she ignored that and went back to her original statement…all the while looking at me like; “duh, what do you want”. I guess me looking at the menu was weird to her, idk. I just know she doesn’t represent the owners or any of the other workers that I have encountered!

This was the first time that someone has ever said something to me. Before visiting, I suggest you check out their online menu, so you can choose your beverage wisely! ha! There are just so many choices! When I visited, I went with hot tea. If you are hungry, there is a lot of choices here. You can find bagels, pastries, and lunch menu items available. The items in the counter as labeled for allergens, which is very helpful to our food allergy friends!

I think Sweetwaters can be a bit hit or miss. This location is the best. I struggle to not give a 5 star but the staff are just a little too hit or miss to earn a 5 star from me.

The food is the best I’ve ever had at a sweetwater. Plenty of local options and you can definitely get your fill of calories with some of those options —> especially the maple twist. So yummy.

The coffee is super solid. They make a good drink and are pretty consistent.

I absolutely love some of the staff. However, there have been a couple that were frankly a little rude. I know it’s super hard to find good people and it seems like they’re really trying. I mean, I’ve found about 50% of workers under the age of 18 just don’t know how to be nice behind a counter.

Anyway, I recommend checking this place out for a quick coffee or a catch up meeting during the week.

In the newer more trendy area of Dublin, Sweetwaters Cafe is a wonderful addition. It has a casual, modern, refreshing atmosphere. I saw ppl working, dating, families, individuals, of all ages from kids to seniors. There are different seating areas including bar level, tables, outdoor patio, and sofas. There is lots of sunlight from the many windows which is terrific for Ohio weather. It is just short walking distance from the Dublin Bridge and a scenic view.

The menu is mainly sweet and has a few nice options. I enjoyed the lemon tart and I recommend it. There are also a few breakfast friendly options such as bagels, yogurt parfaits. The drinks have a large variety of expresso options and flavors. I appreciated that water was free.

My only critique was that the music was a little too loud for my middle-aged years, and the temperature a little on the cold side.

Really appreciated the servers behind the counter, they were very polite and patient as they explained to me everything.

Totally recommend.

My last time at Sweetwater's. These guys won't even give you a cup of water if you buy their expensive coffee.

Response to Owner's Response:
Although I understand the supply shortages most stores experience, I would suggest you use your ceramic coffee mugs and espresso cups which you have plentiful sitting on the shelves but never use for guests consuming beverages inside the cafe. You could also use small glasses for water instead of plastic cups. This would eliminate your sourcing problem, reduce trash, make your store more environmentally friendly, and look high class. Finally, in any classic coffee shop espressos are always served with a glass of water.

Coffee is good but team needs more training. One is short tempered and speaks combatively and the other one is not smart, so relies on her colleague. More training on special situations would bring the best from both.

Edit: just saw your immature response. No I didn't request a receipt before the transaction was done! lol. I asked her if she can print a physical receipt once the transaction is done, since some only email. That conversation somehow became combative. I guess your staff gets it from you. Do yourself a favor and learn hospitality management from an expert instead of trying to win arguments.

In the Fall of 2021 the street between the buildings were blocked off to traffic for an Irish dance presentation. A man & women who said they owned Sweetwater stood outside & told people they could not stand in the shade of the building if you were not a customer. A woman with 6 children said she would by a couple of coffees and get water or drinks for the children. She was told that wasn't enough and she was turned away. How rude!

The staff was very warm and welcoming. Such a beautiful location and more importantly, Clean!!!! The restroom was spotless, I don’t know about you but that means the world to us! The owners were there, so sweet and engaging!!!! We had I believe the ginger lemon tea, hot chocolate, pumpkin roll, peanut cookie, apple cinnamon muffin, and raspberry…? We really enjoyed ourselves sitting there talking. The chalk board is decorated by one of their regulars which I think is amazing! Please support this locally owned business!

I've tried the coffee a few times... today I tried a "Medium" roast. It tasted burned like every other time I tried it. I poured it out after one sip, and I'm done trying this place. Way to dark, way too hot - which burns it, and just overall disappointing every time I try. It would be nice to have an actual good coffee place in Dublin. I see the reply. The way you describe the coffee bears no resemblance to how it tasted and while the brew temp might be set what I had was burned and not at all fresh. Also I have had your brewed coffee before just not paid with my phone. I was having cold brew because I never had brewed coffee that was any good. I do prefer light roast but I have never seen that offered in this place. The cold brew is tolerable. Get yourself a light roast pour over from somewhere like Briosso or Roosevelt and then try yours. It’s not even close.

This place is all looks. I ordered a double shot in my latte and it felt like I'm drinking milk. Mocha tasted like chocolate milk. Barista was unwelcoming.

Look for good coffee elsewhere.

Beautiful place, employees were incredibly kind, everything was very clean. The coffee was less than mediocre and my oatmeal they served me was lukewarm. I had a plain latte and the maple pecan oatmeal. Maybe their signature and fun drinks do a better job at hiding the taste of their espresso.

I’m pretty picky when it comes to coffee/espresso and I really enjoyed Sweetwaters. The hot latte with their premium espresso was perfect - plenty of espresso flavor still came through and it wasn’t burnt tasting like so many other coffee shops!

The almond biscotti are a great add on for a quick bite. They’re not hard like most biscotti so no need to dunk em in your coffee! But you totally still can since it’s a great combo.

We were excited to try a new coffee shop in this fun mew area of Dublin and went based off the good ratings but not sure how they got 5 stars. We got 2 sandwiches that you heat up yourself I’m a microwave everyone shares that was fine but the sandwiches were inedible both of them tasted like something that had been sitting in a gas station for days then the coffee wasn’t great I ended up asking for a cup with more cream and the lady at the counter was rude and didn’t give it to me without charging me for it when all I wanted was more cream because they didn’t have any sitting out. The biscotti wasn’t bad but seriously would not recommend at all.
