Food is really good and the waitresses are friendly. The tinted windows, decor and music make a great atmosphere that brings you back in time. I love getting the oriental salad that comes with cinnamon sugar pita bread. It's really good! My younger sister that is super picky loves coming here and trust me that is big deal!

This Rockne's location is pretty consistent for food quality and service. No surprises, nothing bad. Odd shorter hours than you may expect. Check for days closed and closing hours before going.

I had the Rocknes Salad with the house dressing and french onion soup. My husband had the Philly beef sandwich and fries. Food was delicious and the service was superb!

Salads here are my favorite. Very nice variety of menu choices. Soups are also very good. I can't say I've ever ordered anything here I didn't enjoy. Fries are like fair fries, YUM. Portions are good, well made, and not overly greasy as some pub style restaurants can be. Biggest problem is trying to narrow down my favorites and not order one of everything.

Had the Terminator Sub & it was a great sandwich. Shredded steak, 2 cheeses, lettuce, & fries... how could u go wrong? Very filling.

Rocknes has become one of our favorite dining-in restaurant chains, and we eat at a Rocknes 2-3 times a month. We like the atmosphere, service is always excellent, and we know what we like on the menu. Althugh we usually eat at the Massillon store, which is near one of our weekly destinations, we've eaten at other Rocknes and recommend all. Prices are reasonable, and food is always good.

Love North Canton Rocknes location…JADE was our waitress and she was amazing! She’s so sweet, we never had to ask for anything! She was on top of her game! Such a pretty and pleasant girl! Soon as we sat down she was right over, took our drink order and asked if we were ready to order! I love that.. our appetizer came to the table, very fast and our meals were out soon after … the restaurant was so busy today during lunch, I was amazed !…Jade deserves a raise! Great service 🩵

Me and my dad were in town to go see the pro football Hall of Fame after the Cleveland Browns New York Giants game. We were looking looking for somewhere to eat and as we were driving on the highway we saw this place and we were like let’s go check it out. and I’m so glad we did both of us ordered the Mini Max and everything was delicious. The burgers were cooked very well. also, we surprisingly got a lot of french fries with both of our burgers. We were shocked by this so much so that I almost could not finish my meal and my dad could not finish his meal. Our waitress (I unfortunately forgot her name) was very friendly. She always checked up on us to make sure we were doing OK and we really liked the cool atmosphere and the music they were playing in there next time we’re back in Ohio. We will definitely come back to this place.

To go order was place at 3pm to be picked up at 5 pm everything was ice cold fish reheated fries were totally gross they tried to off it by giving free fries and said the fish dinner was fresh it wasn't the way prices are these days isbad enough but when you work hard and look forward to good food then it's garbage wasted money will never be back

Decent food, consistent with other Rockne locations. Incredibly slow service. The waitstaff was doing side work and they were cutting a server, yet our server took forever to deliver drinks, bring out side salads and refill drinks.

Let me start off. I used to love Rocknes but they’ve went so far downhill. Food quality isn’t that great anymore. Their bacon isn’t a good as their old bacon. Worst of all the kitchen manager was extremely rude to me. We used to love Rocknes. They had one of the best salads at a good price. Now I think it’s over $12 for a salad and if you want croutons and an extra dressing you’re over $14.

Never again Rocknes.

I had the Reuben and fries and my wife had a wrap and French Onion soup. Food had no flavor! The soup was the only thing that had flavor but the cheese on the soup was plopped on top not melted. The wrap was naked on the plate. My Reuben well, I was underwhelmed. The meat had zero flavor and the sauerkraut tasted like boiled cabbage fries were greasy and cold, even the rye bread had no flavor. Server was friendly but slow and staff all acted like they didn't want to work. No smiles or hello no reason to make me want to come back. Really disappointed

Rude servers na ager even tried to argue with me about my food being raw and cold and drink being messed up waitress forgot about us took two hours when they were dead for my messed up order to even get there when I sent it back to get remade they brought out the same messed up one that I began with the dinning area was filthy on top of it will be contacting both corporate and the health department

Overall good atmosphere and food with excellent service. It was a little noisy and sometimes hard to hear.

I got the Ruben sandwich which was very good but somewhat soggy, they hadn't drained the sauerkraut properly and put it on the bottom of the sandwich. My guest got a hamburger and said it was slightly overcooked, but otherwise good.

We will probably be back when in the area, it's just not a place we would go out of our way for.

We goto rocknes alot but not this location. This was a first time in this location.They were busy and our server I feel was over whelmed. Brought tarter sauce instead of ceasar dressing asked for ceasar got ranch so we gave up on the dressing. The food was good.

We love this restaurant! The only bad thing is how loud it is. Food is amazing! Fries remind of fair fries. Sandwiches, salads, soups and entrees(esp. Fish dinner) always hit the spot. Portions are always huge and prices are very reasonable.

There we 8 of us. The food arrived promptly and was hot. We have never had a bad experience at any of the Rockne’s locations. I must say, however, that we will never get their nachos again. The nachos had very little flavor with huge chunks of chicken, we were expecting shredded chicken. We were very disappointed in them. Everything else was delicious and up to Rockne’s standards.

I normally dislike chains. Like, avoid them like the plague. But this one is fun-with some really tasty food! Allot of Tex Mex style-great for hubby, who likes it spicy, and I can get regular ranch which cools everything down for me!

It's just... Average. The staff is good and friendly. The food is hit or miss. Large portions, so I guess that makes the price okay. Carry out is an option, but the food doesn't travel well. I'm not disappointed, usually. But I'm also not impressed. Very large menu with way too many choices. I will say the atmosphere is lovely. I like the old style homey feel of the place.

Comfy bar atmosphere. Great bartender. Quick service, I was back at the office in plenty of time for my lunch hour. My Caesar salad and cream of mushroom and brie soup were outstanding. Reasonable prices.

DEF a must for Dine-In service & cocktails!
French onion soup is some of the best you'll get in this area. Sauer Kraut Balls also! And their salads, OmG their salads! They're just HUGE & delicious!! Enough for 2, typically.
But, I don't know what it is about ordering Carry-Out... 🤷‍♀️ 9 /10 times, the order is given to us being incorrect somehow. This visit we asked for Mashed Potatoes & Gravy w/ Pot Roast dinner w/ "gravy on the side"....
Nope, the entire meal was soaking in gravy.
So that was pretty disappointing. 😞

Friendly staff. Food was okay. I didn't really care for The French onion soup. It was jam-packed full of onions and round rye cracker. The crackers were the best part.

I thought the french fries were oily and not crisp. My son liked his Ruben and my daughter-in-law liked her salad. My burger was good but the mushrooms were canned.

It wasn't my best dining experience, but it wasn't my worst either. People seem to like the food here, as it always seems busy. Perhaps I just don't appreciate pub food as much as I used to. I would be interested to read other reviews.

Worst experience we have ever had while dining out. Our waitress was beyond unprofessional and honestly lazy at her job. We had to ask multiple times for things like refills on our drinks, a spoon for my daughter to eat her dinner. It was a little annoying however our waitress was more worried about gossiping than actually doing her job. Apparently one of the other waitresses she can't stand to hear her talk because she is just that dumb. Then she continues to tell the girl she was talking to not say anything because she really does love the dumb girl and doesn't want her to know she was talking about her. Our waitress got back on task bringing over our bill while we were still eating. We finish eating and the waitress hasn't come back for the bill. We wait and wait my husband even pushes the bill out so it is hanging over the table but our waitress is still too busy talking about how she just feels like starting a rumor about someone. She walks away and my husband got up from the table asking for someone to take his payment so we can leave. He was told by a waitress other than our own that she couldn't do it so he went up to the front to have them do it. While Myself and our two small children are still waiting for a box for their food. Our waitress was so kind to run her mouth about us. The " Well they didn't have their f$%@ing bill on the end of the table" right in front of my 4 and 5 year old children sure was not appreciated or appropriate. I stood up and told her she needed to watch her mouth in front of my children, grow up, and learn to be professional. Her response "I didn't see you there". Worst and most unprofessional experience I have had.

Was not told there was an up charge for fries or onion rings. Apparently, nothing comes with sandwiches anymore. I had the Terminator (came with a small handful of fries).When leaving 3 hostess' standing at 1 podium, 1 at another helping customers and NO ONE could open the door for me as i came to the entrance to leave on a walker with my leg in a boot cast and my husband carrying my bag and holding my service dogs leash. Needless to say we WILL NEVER visit this establishment again. What a horrible place.

Rockne's has decent food and atmosphere, but the service isn't all that great. Last time I went there there was a long hair in my soup. To be fair, they promptly offered me more soup or a refund, but it left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak.

I've been here twice and had the same thing happen both times. Fun atmosphere, friendly service, food is pretty good, prices are just right, however....it takes a REALLY long time to get your order to the table. I will probably give them one more chance but I will make sure I am not starving and can spare the extra time 1st.

Food took quite a long time to come out, and when it did; it was ok at best. The chicken in the chicken quesdilla was changed, and we unfortunately had several of them ordered. Nobody enjoyed the change. We ordered a bacon, and Swiss burger; came with no bacon. The burger itself was built well, just needed some seasoning. Onion rings were soggy.

Had a max the knife and fries, both were presented perfectly, burger was cooked perfectly, bun, sauce and pickles were amazing. Fries were a little bland, lacking seasoning, but seemed to be fresh cut and fried well. Chicken Dumpling soup was also lacking seasoning. (Or I had covid recently and tastebuds may still be off a little). They were busy but the wait was quick (10 minutes, they said 15). Staff was professional, pleasant, and well trained. Restaurant and restrooms were clean.
