The employees were very rude. The cashier even forgot to ring up one of my items and when I went back they were very mean about and acted like it was my fault. The cashier with black hair was so miserable and I get it we all have bad days but no need to take it out on customers. And the manager was no better. However I do love the products and prices, but sad that the staff acted that way to a paying customer.

Treasure troves! I get plenty of compliments on a lot of clothes purchased here. Bargain prices on most items. Designer brands like Michael Kor, Columbia, Express, etc.

I love the low prices- it's great if you don't mind looking thru racks as the sizes tend to be mixed. I got a pair of jeans, a clearance jean jacket, an Express top, and 3 bikinis for $32
Update: nice to find summer apparel and swimsuits, the earlier the better before it's picked over;)

Would love to walk around and browse but the music is over the top. WAY TOO LOUD! and music i don't particularly like. People have their earbuds if they want music. Try turning the music off and I think your sales will go up. You lost some sales with me the other day when I just left. Wasn't worth being annoyed in there.

The womens' clothing section is overcrowded. I couldn't get my shopping cart through there. I got stuck at one point and felt like I was lost in a Maze. The cashier was very friendly!

Watch as you are being checked out..they overcharged us two times in a row and also added extra quantity to our items also added things we didn't even purchase such as batteries at the tune of $11.99..we bought no batteries or anything that required batteries...watch watch watch..they either are doing it on purpose or rushing too much..

Gabe's has gone downhill since they were bought out by another company. The prices are higher. The clothes are cramped in, can't get a wheelchair through. The main big isles now have tables full of items. Makes it worse to get through. Then the checkout area. You have to go through a maze to get to a unpersonal checkout. The registers are set up in an assembly line. No room to unload your items. If you are handicapped you can't get to the counter. Shame on you Gabe's you can do better!

Discount department store, overstock, like a warehouse. Excellent prices. Clothing. Shoes, household goods. Unique. If you see it, get it, it will not be there later. Plentiful easy parking.

The reason I’m putting only one star is because of the assumption of the lady who had rung up my items this evening! She was an older lady with long black hair with long nails. She called one of her employees over to the register to make sure that the 2 piece uniform that I was purchasing was the correct price! I guess she thought maybe I swapped something around which was not the case! I’m not sure what kind of customers this store is use to dealing with but I’m definitely not that one! It’s very sad how customers can be labeled nowadays! I’ve never been a thief let alone would I ever try to change a price on anything that I purchase!! Then they had the nerve to announce on speaker that they turned on the camera to record the store! Why announce it? Just do it! So with that being said this Gabe’s will never see me again! This was only my second time there and my last!

I generally like Gabe's and the deals I often can find. However, last night (Oct 24) I wanted to try a couple of shirts on. There are two fitting rooms near the fitting room clerk's counter that have a paper sign that says "Men's fitting room".
There was a female customer waiting by the counter (no clerk working there). She saw me knock and try to enter both men's fitting rooms, but they were both locked with a hasp, which required a key. I pressed the button to page a clerk to come unlock a room for me.
After a few minutes the female customer said "I'd just go ahead and take whatever's open." I did, but I felt a little uncomfortable doing that. I tried some things on and when I was leaving the fitting rooms, I saw the same female customer. I asked if anyone ever showed up (I never heard anyone). She said nope, no one ever showed up.
Anyhow, I know Target doesn't have separate men's and women's areas. If you're not going to have men's fitting rooms available take down the signs. I don't want people to think I'm some kind of creeper if they see me coming out of a room not marked men's.

The girl stuff is pretty well organized, but the men’s stuff was just a nightmare. Everything was completely mixed up. They may have as well just been on a huge pile on the floor couldn’t find anything ended up leaving. The prices were like 40 to 60% off not worth digging through racks and racks of clothes just to look for some thing in your size and nothing is in the right spot

Looking for shoes. Went clear to the back of the store. Found women's only shoes! Like what? Looked all around and finally found, what looked like men's shoes but a very marginalized isle, at best. Not kept tidy, that's for sure. I did not find anything I was looking for. Guys, don't shop there for shoes!

I remember when Gabe's first opened up the stores were a holy hot mess now everything is worth supposed to be I mean you kind of gotta look through a few things Here and there to Find the right size it isn't things like that but I'm aside from that it's well put Together they could have a Bigger selection on their shoes I Guarantee that but other than that it's pretty much well put Together the prices are pretty reasonable still and not Jump through the Roof yet but they're very nice people there

Good prices and quality merchandise BUT the womens department is very unorganized. Shirts, pants, dresses were all on the same rack throughout the whole section. Only the junior girls section was very organized.

Never had an issue before at Gabes. I enjoy shopping there because we always get great deals and cashiers are super friendly, however that was not the case with the dressing room attendant Cynthia. We went to pick out an outfit for my niece to wear for pictures. We approached the dressing room where only one person was trying on clothes and were told, "you're going to have to wait a minute. I need to finish clearing the other 7 stalls out." No problem. I get it, however her tone was so rude and after another minute or 2 she repeats herself and proceeds to roll her eyes at my sister and niece. As if they were a problem. Simply just wanting to try on clothes. And then after they waited she tells my sister that she can't go in to help my niece try on clothes. She's a child and a dress we picked out needed to be buttoned from the back. At this point we should've just left, but we were in a crunch for time and needed to find an outfit. I get it everyone has bad days, but we all do. I work in customer service myself, and would never treat anyone like we were treated by Cynthia. After almost 10 years of business with Gabe's we will not be back.

I remember when Gabriel Brothers first opened they had good deals, but you had to be careful not to buy something with a hole in it or a broken zipper. Their quality has come a long way and the prices aren't bad.

The prices here are great, and you can find big brands for a low price (if that's your thing)... but checking out is always a struggle. They always have just one MAYBE two cashiers (and someone arguing over pennies and returns with them) so the line backs up, and it takes three times as long as it should.

If you're more patient than me and value a good deal over your time, I recommend this place.

Always great. 3 yrs ago. Now not so much. I went there I'm out of town I drove over 40 miles to get up there and I didn't get the shorts that I bought. I called I spoke to the manager she said just bring in my receipt and I would get them. I get up there and they thought I was like trying to con them out of a $3 pair of shorts. I wouldn't drive 45 minutes for $3 pair of shorts really they need some serious reality checks. And I need lessons and how to deal with people because they are not very good with people. The lady waited on me is the same lady that we did on me today. And she says I wouldn't know I didn't miss putting them in the bag well I'm not going lie about a $3 pair of shorts. So make sure you have all your things in the bag before you leave the store cuz I don't trust them. The top of their store is falling apart they got it all blocked off so you can only get in one door. That's enough said
