I recently had an unpleasant and discourteous interaction at an At Home store with a manager named Chris (with a “C”). Unfortunately, this individual displayed behavior that was not just unprofessional but outright inhospitable.

While checking out, Chris seemed more concerned about speeding through the process than ensuring a positive experience. He rushed me so aggressively that I barely had time to take a photo of my receipt for the order—something crucial for tracking purchases. His attitude was embarrassingly rude, making the interaction uncomfortable and highly unkind.

👎 Customer Service Should Always Come First
It’s incredibly disheartening to encounter such hostility, especially during the holiday season when kindness and patience should prevail. At Home, your focus on speed metrics should never come at the expense of customer satisfaction or the dignity of contracted employees.

✨ A Note to Management
While my interactions with other staff members at this location have been pleasant and professional, Chris's behavior stands out in stark contrast. I sincerely hope that At Home’s leadership reconsiders his role—whether through demotion, transfer, or additional training—because this level of discourtesy reflects poorly on your brand.

This is one store you can almost find a great find every visit! Wide range of items and huge selection to choose from. Their seasonal items are unique and they usually have a lot to select from. One of our go to stores! We definitely recommend At Home!

Great place for holiday shopping! I love their Halloween decor! The store is clean, neat, and spacious! The cashiers are always pleasant, and it’s always been a treat to shop here.

My dad spoke on the phone with one of the associates and told them about a part that was missing for one of the cabinets/table stand that we purchased from the store. We were told to come in and pick the part up. My dad asked twice with the associate over the phone if he needed to bring the cabinet back in, and both times he was told that he didn’t need to and that he can just come to the store to pick the part up. When we arrived to the store we told a woman working there about our situation and that we were there to pick up the part. I am not sure who it was, but we assume the she was the manager of the store since she had a radio. From the start she had a bad attitude and did not seem welcoming. Both my parents and I were really patient with her. My dad has trouble explaining certain things, since English is his second language, and so maybe it was frustrating for her because she wasn’t able to fully understand his point. She offered 50% off on the same type of cabinet that was on display and when my dad asked how much would the total be if it’s 50% off, I heard her mumble to herself “he can’t even do that?” This was very shocking and I couldn’t believe that she really said that. I literally just stared at her for a few seconds, but decided not to do anything because it wasn’t worth my time. I’m not the type to to cause a scene. The other gentleman there was kind and helpful, the manager was just giving off negative energy like she was mad at us. My parents and I were respectful from the start, she had no reason to be rude to us. I understand that sometimes people have a rough day, but we are customers and we do not deserve to be treated with a negative attitude. It’s unacceptable.

Originally, I bought a pair of 84” panel without measuring dimensions of my windows. Found out that didn’t fit so I went back to exchange these. Services were remarkably as the staff was more than happy to give me a replacement for wider curtains instead. Both products (Original and Final Product) had great texture and pattern for white walls that are reasonably priced. All in all, AtHome has proven themselves worthy for home decor products. Just remember to keep your order confirmation or paper receipt, if you’re old school, when making returns or exchanges.

Be careful entering this store because you will not leave empty handed. I just went in with the Mrs for my 1st time because she wanted to get more post Xmas deals. 2 hours later and a car full of bags. Nice variety of themes to shop fo t at your disposal.

Huge selection. Most items are cheap in quality. I wished they offered more quality items and increased the price range to fit everyone's needs. Great lamp selection. Rugs were challenging as they were rolled up in plastic so it was hard to locate the actual rug hanging at the end of each aisle to get an idea of the quality and full design. It became too overwhelming that I gave up looking for runner and entryway rugs. Plants and pillows were cheap looking. Wall Art did not offer the modern or abstract artwork I was looking for. Great window treatment selection. Wonderful holiday selection! All in all, At Home is a great store. Just know that some items are cheap looking but so is the price.

Great place for home decor for every style and taste. I've purchased a lot of canvas art, tabletop knick knacks and accent furniture here. At Home has a massive selection, particularly deco for seasonal holidays like Halloween and Christmas. The selection for their sale was limited, but I finally found something that would work. I got to the check out, the cashier told me the total & watched me write out every line of my check @ waited until I handed it to her to tell me they don’t accept checks. No apologies, no pointing out any sign to indicate the policy, just we don’t take checks. Really poor customer service!!

This huge store has everything but what I need. Water pitcher filters, and believe it or not, they have no cheese slicers in this entire place!
It took three clerks four trips around the store to come to the same conclusion.

They have such nice stuff. Quite a variety to pick from and plenty of Christmas items. I like how they have all the colors together so if you want to do all red or all blue you can and you don't have to hunt for it. I found tea lights there which I haven't been able to find anywhere so I stocked up on them. Very nice items

Got bar stools here about a month ago and went back the other day to get matching chairs. The chairs used to be $69.99 and went up to $89.99. All furniture seemed to go up $20. The manager was nice and told me this was a corporate adjustment and could not adjust the price. Ended up buying a similar product online. Overall nice selection but high prices.

CHECK THE PRICES. Price gouging at its finest ... or "market price adjust" on almost everything in the store. Found a new items marked 6 bucks over the tag price!! Tacky and bad business practice. Thankfully Kirklands, Homegoods, etc. are nearby. Definitely not coming here anymore.
