Both the food and service are always excellent!

After going back several times, I can only say one word, AWESOME!

Each visit has left me feeling like I have just been to Heaven.

Favorite breakfast items: Huevos Rancheros with green Chile pork.The Super Macho, with a marinated skirt steak. And last but not least, the Dirty Bird with chorizo gravy to die for.

Wash it down with one of their famous Damn Bueno Bloodys, you can thank me later.

Please bring one of these to Edmond.

I was thoroughly impressed with everything I tried.

The quesadilla, chicken tower, fajita bowl and Birria grilled cheese without meat
Mexi corn as a side were all standout dishes. The grilled cheese in the fajita bowl was a unique and flavorful twist. I also loved the green chili chicken enchiladas, which were spicy and satisfying.

While the tamales weren't satisfying the rest of the food was absolutely fantastic. I wish to try more of their menu items.

It is one of the best places in the Moore/Norman area for brunch and drinks! Highly recommend visiting the website to put your name on the wait list beforehand. The wait staff is exceptional. The food is delicious and speedy. Definitely a return to restaurant!! Always spot on every visit! Visit on a Saturday and enjoy their Happy Hour from 3 pm until 6 pm!

Excellent food and service. Their Brunch/Breakfast is the reason to go, but their lunch and dinner menu are no slouches either. Their breakfast nachos and breakfast burrito are about as good as any you will ever find, but recently I had their Carne Asada burrito, and it was phenomenal. They also have excellent coffee, and fantastic drink and food specials for happy hour.

The food was ok, there are better mexican restaurants around. The service was mediocre at best. They took our order last even though we got there first. Only acknowledge us twice and we had to forcefully get their attention to order and to get the check.

I give this rating because overall this is a great place to eat, however the gluten free menu options are not actually a gluten free option as one would expect or anticipate. Instead of supplying an alternate gluten free bread item they are simply omitting the item to make it gluten free. To me this changes the dish and isn't being as forthcoming and helpful to the customer base with omitting over substitution.

Update 12/14 - best Mexican bistro food in the metro. Always fresh and tasty and the service is on point.

Back for more! This time we had Damn Bueno Bloody Mary's - best Bloody Mary I've ever had for sure! Our server, Diana, was fantastic! Chips were fresh, guacamole, hot salsa, and queso were phenomenal! We got the the Ultimate Scramble and The Colonel. Both were perfect!

Ordered takeout this time and once again El Huevo did not dissapoint! This is definitely our new go-to spot for amazing food!

Arisa, our waitress, was fantastic! She had a lot to say about the Tres Leche cake! We had the Surf and Turf Tacos and the Nine Juan Juan Tacos with chips and salsa. We loved them all! The chips were fresh! We asked for their spiciest salsa and they did not disappoint! Nose was running! The tacos were A-M-azing!!! We'll definitely return!

Our server was not personable at all. Very dry and couldn’t understand what we were saying. Didn’t ask any questions about what we would like. We have been frequenting this fine restaurant for five years. They recently promoted Rhonda from server to a manager. This was the best choice possible. The service at El Huevos has gone up, up, up under her leadership. The food here is always tasty and fast to deliver to the table. For those with a bent towards being vegan, listen up: they will customize just about any dish, and that makes for a lot of options! This mexi-party on a plate is a can't miss if you're passing through or are from around here. You have to try the chips and queso. 😋

I didn't take photos this time, but I'll be back! The food was so delicious. The commander burrito was so full of flavor, as was the fajita chicken enchiladas. I had the rice and beans, and the beans are too tasty to pass up! The beans come in a bowl and have bits of beef in them. Sooo good, and I'm not usually a bean fan, but I cleaned the bowl!! Lol My mouth is watering just typing this lol. Can't wait to go back!!!

I thought this was a breakfast only place, but they have 8am-8pm hours on Wednesdays thru Saturdays. The food is very good, and the servers are for the most part quite friendly and accommodating. I appreciate the variety, and hope to be back to experience more of the menu!

If you live in the OKC Norman area try out this restaurant. It’s the first time in a long time where they took my questions seriously and professionally when asking about their food due to allergy. Shout out to Gabriel, he was a rock star. Even found out the distributor and manufacturer of the tortilla chips for me.
So refreshing, actually brought me to tears.

We stopped in for 1/2 price appetizers and 1/2 price Beer. Food was excellent it was fast, hot and everything was very fresh and of course the Beer was great as well. This was our first time here but it certainly won't be the last. I highly recommend it. Food was excellent, service was excellent, very clean and comfortable place.

They started as a breakfast and lunch diner but now stay open until 8 pm Wed-Sat. Their biscuits with chorizo sausage gravy is a tasty change of pace. The green chile chicken burrito is a personal spicy favorite. I could make a meal on the Mexi-potatoes with grilled onions and mild peppers. From 2-6pm you can enjoy half price appetizers.

AMAZING! It's like God himself made the meal! I ordered the Chicken salad without the cheese or spicy stuff! (I would have asked for no tomatos and no avocados but was worried that many instructions would confuse the staff) when the salad came it had everything I requested PLUS no tomatoes and the avocados were on the side! It was perfect and the staff (Matt was his name) was so kind and careful about my food allergies! This was my first time here and I'm coming back again!!!

Was my first time, got the nachos, absolutely horrible. Seemed like they kept it under a heat lamp and everything was so piled in that was a soggy play of nasty, I took 2 bites and left it on the side of the table because it’s not worth the money especially with how bland/unseasoned everything was. Horrible first experience with the food but service was nice, was excited about all the things I heard but it’s very bland and doesnt give me any feelings of coming back to try anything.

Great food and service. Consistent quality. Good for breakfast, brunch and Lunch. Must save room to try the Tres Leches! There’s small outdoor seating and a small bar. Prices are fair for the fare. The cocktails are worth a try too. Family friendly, brunch with friends or a date spot. Careful ordering on adding a half Hass avocado at $4 otherwise no complaint.

If you haven't been here yet, you need to! El Huevo is by far my favorite restaurant in oklahoma. I had to take a break from it because I was here almost every weekend and didn't want to get bored of it, but I'm coming back! I miss the amazing food. If I had to describe it, I would say it's mexican food with a millennial twist. The decor is so refreshing and vibrant. It makes me feel like some of the places I would visit when I lived in L.A. If you go before lunch, be prepared to wait in line. This place gets busy but the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Everyone I've brought here has come back on their own.

Honestly a really disappointing experience today. Typically we have nothing but great things to say about El Huevo, but our latest visit was very frustrating. We went during the Sunday brunch rush, so it was understandable that we waited a bit before being seated. But once we got our table, our server Matthew dropped the ball. We ordered water to start while we debated alcohol, and when we ordered our meals and my wife’s drink, Matthew assured us he’d get our food order in and the drink would be out in just a minute. While we waited for everything, we saw him moving around the restaurant but he never returned with the drink or to check on us or to refill drinks at the table. The next interaction with any of the staff we had was when they dropped off our food 20 min or so later. We had to bring the missing drink to their attention, which sucked because honestly, they didn’t have any idea about it and were blindsided by someone else’s mistake. They were quick to apologize and went to dig into the missing drink. Matthew came by after I’d already finished my food and the drink had arrived to “check on us” and halfheartedly apologize for the mistake with the drink. There was no insight into what happened or why, just “sorry about the drink, my bad.” The food was great, everything we’ve come to expect from them, but the service made it a lackluster experience. The other two interactions we had with him were awkward and frankly uncomfortable as he danced around asking if we needed anything or were ready for a check.

Look, I make mistakes like anyone else. But I would much prefer someone to own that mistake and do their best to make up for it than to make the entire situation weirder/worse by acting like a kid in trouble. This kind of lackluster service is part of the reason El Huevo became our go to: their service was great and other places couldn’t compete. But this visit has me rethinking a lot of that.

Wonderful hidden gem in Norman. I don't want to make it too popular because the wait times are tolerable on the weekends currently, and not like neighborhood Jam wait times. Though I love the neighborhood jam. Breakfast or lunch dinner entrees served with a texmex theme. Try it ASAP you won't be sorry.

A recent visit was our first, but it certainly won't be our last. As their name suggests there are many option for spicy, flavorful food. There are also several options for the less adventurous palate. We went on a Saturday (non-game day) and the wait time was almost non-existent. This was a great opportunity to explore the adult beverages and their Damn Bueno Bloody Mary is exactly that! Perfect blend of heat and flavor with their own bloody mix. They have a lot of options with an El Huevo spin, but I can tell you the Aperol Spritz is a great brunch option. The food is very flavorful and unique. Highly recommend the Chilaquiles! IMO, this is a must try restaurant and will stay in my regular rotation.

I ordered a meal to pick up the curbside. The person answering the phone was knowledgeable, and the one thing she wasn't sure of, she asked another employee and wasn't bothered that she had to do that for me. The food was so fresh, and it wasn't all jumbled in the to-go box like some places do. The person taking payment at curbside was also polite and professional.

Love this establishment. The fusion of Latin American cuisine is incredible. I know they do lunch and dinner, but this is the breakfast spot for me. Fluffy omelet with spinach, corn and jalapeños. Muy buen.

Good food, great service. A real good Mexican Restaurant in Norman. I place it in the top two best in Norman.

Was excited to try something new for my birthday brunch with my family. Waited about 20 minutes for 8 ppl. The waitress we got at first, Stacia, if I could give her a -1 review I would. She seemed annoyed with us from the very start, we asked for the manager or a someone different. When the manger came she was nice but I feel like only because it was her job as the manger. She was making up excuses for Stacias terrible service, took our order, brought it out and that was it. Nobody came back for refills or anything. Finally a third person came to give us our check and her herself seemed unpleased to help us but whatever we were ready to just pay and leave at this point.
The only person that was very nice was Rafael he helped bring out the dishes and was the only one with a genuine smile in his face. We decided to leave the tip with him because he deserved it. I would give him 5+ without a doubt.

All in all food was ok, nothing special. If it wasn’t for Rafael this place would get a 1 star.
