Get to this local gourmet spot on Main for some super friendly service and very scrumptious food! High quality ingredients and creatively delicious hot dogs, bowls, ice cream, sandwiches, and more!
We had the brunch dog with grilled jalapenos and onions, scrambled egg, bacon, with a hash brown patty and we chose the beef dogs.
Also had a side of the spiral cut fries which I've never had before. They were light and crunchy and soft and yummy on the inside.

The service was great and the waitress even gave us a full tour of the menu, but my only dislike was how hot it was in the establishment. In my opinion, the fries were the best thing I tried. The hotdogs were very good quality. I thought that the mac & cheese could use some more flavor. I will definitely be back to try other things. If you’ve never been to this eatery, I would recommend it. Support small businesses!

First of all the food is excellent. The spiral cut hot dogs allows for them to be cooked differently and they taste amazing. They are all served well done. The number of toppings is unlimited, and if you don't like the ones they have pre-made you can make up your own.

You must try the fries!

The snow cones are very good. The young lady who made ours up was full of smiles and pleasant. The staff is very friendly and the cook was able to keep up with a busy room full of people and still get every order right.

The atmosphere may be simple but it is welcoming and comfortable.

I'd seen this place recommended on Facebook in one of my groups, so we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! All the food we ordered was amazing. I'm not a big hot dog person, so I wasn't sure what to expect. When we first entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner who was so welcoming. He went over the menu and choices with us. We chose 2 different dogs and 1 bowl. I loved all the choices and how your can make it with the toppings of your choice. We'll definitely be back when we're in town again!

We went on a Friday night and although it didn't look super busy, we waited an hour to receive our food. The owner was very kind and apologetic explaining that they had multiple big group orders. In retrospect my wife and I got an extended date but at the moment I wasn't that happy because I was super hungry. In the end it was worth the wait because the Chicago Dog was delicious! We even ordered snow cones before leaving. The signature 16oz snow cones are huge and my wife and I didn't finish either of ours we definitely could've shared. I got the Sunday Funday that comes with a scoop of ice cream inside and a skewer of mini donuts. It was absolutely delicious! It had a ton of whipped cream and they drizzle it with caramel and chocolate sauce at your table. Great experience overall!

We were passing through Norman and had to stop and try Spirals. Unfortunately, we had to take the food to-go and couldn't eat in the restaurant. Wrapped in foil and put in a box, the dogs didn't look appealing. Highly recommend that you eat in the restaurant if possible. We got a Bassdog with polish sausage and a Oh My Julius with a beef frank. I was skeptical about the sweet relish on the Julius, but it works. My wife didn't care for the Bassdog because she said that the cheese was overwhelming (three different types), and she wishes there was more chili. I liked both dogs but agree that the toppings do overwhelm the dog. In my opinion, the dog should be the star of the show, but with the signature dogs on the menu, the toppings seem to be the star. We also got an order of Spiral Fries and really liked them. They were crisp and seasoned perfectly. There is a lot on the menu to try, and if we are back this way, we will come back. I would like to try to build my own next time, but I do appreciate the creativity of the signature dogs. Definitely need to give this place a try..... highly recommend dining in!

Right when we walked in I was greeted by someone and he have us a little detour of everything on the menu.he-was so polite and once we sat down the food was already done. This place has the best hotdogs in Oklahoma and I 100% recommend this to anyone. Best restaurant I ve ever been to and I will be coming back another time.

The building is not much to look at but the food is amazing! I got the Chicago dog with a steamed, marinated carrot instead of a hot dog and an order of French fries. The French fries were probably the best fries Ive ever had. The steamed carrot dog was also phenomenal, it was a perfect chicago dog and the carrot was steamed nicely but a little more crunchy than I wanted on the thicker end, it didnt change my opinion of the dog as being amazing and Ill definitely be back!

Grabbed some Friday night to-go from Spirals for the first time, having meant to stop by for a while know and never getting around to it. Opted for 4 different dogs between my partner and I - the Chicago Dog, the Grand Ann (red onion sauce/mustard/sauerkraut), Judge Judy (chili/slaw/mustard/crumbles), and the Carters Corn (roasted corn/feta). The inside of the restaurant is a little divey, but dont let that fool you, the food is LEGIT. The hotdogs were meaty and high-quality, and loaded with fresh and well-seasoned toppings. My favorites were the Judge Judy, which had great textures and a Tex-Mex vibe from the chili and cheesy Fritos topping, and the Carters Corn, which had a nice smokiness from the roasted corn that paired well with the tangy feta. The spiral fries are a nice change of pace too, crispy on the outside but filled with fluffy, fresh potato. A full meal may set you back a little more that you might expect for a hotdog joint, but its well worth the quality and creativity Spirals has to offer - *highly* recommend!

Gets more than 1 star because the food is technically edible. Ordered the Mac Daddy bowl and I think all the listed ingredients are there? Mac & cheese isnt mac & cheese, there was some cheese sauce(?) on the bottom and dry mac on top. Reminded me more of some slop youd try and throw together out of stuff in the kitchen after getting home hammered at 2am. Italian cream sodas were gross, zero sweetener unless you count the whipped cream floating on top. Tasted like when you get a fountain drink but the syrup is almost out so you get that cup of bitter carbonated water. Order said read for pick up but they didnt really start making it until I was already there. How do they have 5 stars on so many reviews?

I was craving a hotdog and went there on a whim. The place was so much better than I expected, and I had heard nothing but good things. The bowls are pretty massive and the hotdogs are cute delicious. Will eat there again fo sho!

The owner used to be super nice and overly friendly, chatty and trying to get to know everyone, very personable, but after that picture went viral, we stopped in just a few weeks ago and he was NOTHING like what he used to be. He was in his phone almost the ENTIRE time I was there. Just COMPLETELY different. Almost like how people get famous and then become full of themselves. The food is just eh, mediocre. DEFINITELY not worth what you pay for though!!!! Unique hotdogs, but we didnt go back after the first time we went years ago and then after this time, more than likely, we wont be back again. I ONLY gave it 3 stars because of how nice the owner USED to be. We will just keep driving to Capital Hill to coney island where 3 people can get hotdogs chips and drinks for under $20 and they taste good too!!!

A casual place to get wonderful hotdogs. I purchased a knuckle dragger bowl and a bowl with spiral mac and a side order of fries. All were delicious and yes, the food was served in dog bowls. Or you can get their numerous dogs in buns. A very friendly greeting awaits you. And as an add on note, fries were the base of the knuckle dragger, which had chili, jalepenos, a hot dog, hot link. And polish sausage. A large portion which could be shared. Hot dogs are my jam, so definitely try it out

I m pretty sure this is one of those places that you can t go wrong with anything you order. We got 6 different dogs and they were all good. The owner was super friendly and eager to help with your decisions. In fact, I highly recommend enlisting his help. He will pair your dog with the right wiener, who knew the PB& Justin is best with a hot link?? Well he did! If I don t live 3 hours away I would try all the dogs. If I m ever passing through Norman again I am stopping for sure.

Came in with my little brothers and the owner was very nice and accommodating. The food was great and the menu allows for pre-set of a variety of flavor for whatever suits your needs. They are also very nice if you want to omit an ingredient from one of the hotdogs on the menu. My little brothers enjoyed the decor and they have a whats up-dog? Quilt on the wall that we all found funny. Overall a great experience Ill cherish for a while Kid-friendliness: They have snowcones and kids picnic table for the young to sit together if you bring in a large family

I had two separate orders to go. The lady was so over whelmed by customers. she just set my food on a random table. The man asked whose order is that She says, They didn t come when I said their numbers . False. I was standing right in front. Weve eaten here a few times since last year, and Im glad this place is finally getting the credit it deserves. Their hot dogs are great, the owner is very kind, and they even have snow cones! The spiral cutting of the hot dogs is a genius idea because it makes each bite more manageable and enhances the topping distribution. Overall, the food is inventive and delicious, and its a great place for families! Kid-friendliness: Hot dog wieners can be a choking hazard for kids because of their size and shape, but here they cut them into a spiral, which diminishes the size and alters the shape of each bite.

Definitely don t go if you re hangry - the food is made to order so you ll have to wait, but it is well worth it. The hotdogs are good and not overstuffed or messy to eat. The fries are absolutely killer, and the soda fountain is crisp. The price is also super fair. Really great place.

We arrived at Spirals at 5:30 pm(ish) on a Friday night. The place was not busy at all. Was immediately greeted by (I assume) the owner and was asked if we had been there or if we knew what we wanted. First time coming but we had been perusing the menu online since I had seen a news article about this place. I ordered the Knuckledragger (the bowl in the picture) and the Chicago dog. My partner had the Mom-ster bowl and the Bassdog. Everything was delicious! The fries in the bowl were rather unique. They called them spiral fries (I pictured Arbys but they were not!) My only complaint was the atmosphere. It wasnt bad, but not my style. I think prices were fair, but pricey. I will definitely need to go again so I can try more of the dogs (as they give you different options on what kinda frank you want) and the desserts (which are shaved ice based.) If I could give half stars, this would be a 4.5.

From a born & bred Chicagoan, this is as close as a great Chicago dog Ive been able to find since I moved to OK. Only thing missing is the poppy seed buns (not their fault). A different take on fries which I actually liked more that the usual crinkle cuts. Will definitely be back.

The food was really good. We found this place after the social media post so the wait was a little longer than I assume it normally would be but the place was busy. We totally understood. They have so many options, everything we tried was perfect. Kiddos order the classic Lou. We tried the knuckle dragger (bowl), the not a coney, and the Larry s loaded fries. Totally worth the wait! Next time we hope to try the shaved ice, they have a large menu that also looked delicious.

First off, there was a short line at the kitchen to order. We ordered and stood for 45 minutes waiting for a table to open up. After we got to sit down, we waited another 45 minutes and still no food. I went to the front and asked if we could just get our food to go when it came up. Within 6 minutes, our order came up, and we left with our food. It was a very frustrating experience for us and many others we talked to. The upside was that the food was really good once we got home and heated it back up.

Love it! Legit just left with my family, and we all love it. We tried 3 different hotdogs and 2 of their bowls. Our little ones ate so much that theyre in a food coma right now, and we just left 10 minutes ago. These dogs were the best I ever put in my mouth from the buns to the links to the toppings! I cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the menu including their sno cones! Superb dogs!

Real deal Coney Shop. Great options for kids, and big guys like me. I can t wait to go back. I love that Norman has a cool family run shop like this. We need more places like Spirals in our community.

Absolutely loved that the owner takes the time to welcome and explain the menu! Every one was very friendly and the food was different. (in a good way) 10 out of 10. Wish we would have had more time to learn more about the fun names on the menu but they were busy which is understandable. Looking forward to our next visit!

Its a one and done visit for me. Should have left when I walked in and the place just didnt look very clean. There was one customer in front of us. I heard her order. It was a single order. There was a table of two seated waiting for their order. We arrived right about 2pm. It was 3:15 when we got home with our order to go. 2 hot dogs. Mine was plain with mustard onions and sweet relish. Simple. My husbands had a little more going on. 1 order of fries. A cup of chili. It took an hour to get it he food. Normally I would not have waited. But first time there. I am committed to seeing the experience through. Hoping for at least a good food outcome. NOPE! It was not good. My husbands fries, dry and cold. The coldness probably due to the 10 minute drive home. Trying to give benefit of doubt where I can. I am also taking into account food is generally better eaten immediately in house. Chilli, not edible. I get greasy spoon Chilli. But this is swimming in Grease. Flavor didnt hit for me. But it did hit the trash can. Sorry. My opinion. The actual hotdog or weiner, if you will, was the best part of my order. But it had a neon blue green relish of some sort on it that I was not expecting. It tasted terrible to me. And grossed me out. I scraped off what I could and ate it. Just wasnt my wheel house at all. I cant speak for my husbands. But it was unrecognizable as a hotdog. Not what he expected either. Lol He ate the hot link and threw the outer concoction away. I guess we just arent hip enough for Spirals Hot Dogs & More. I wanted to like it. But it didnt work out. Still the best Hot Dog I ever had is what I make at home. I would go to Sams or Costco for a dog at this point. Still searching for just a good, traditional hot dog in Norman that doesnt have relish on it that I thought was a nuclear experiment. Lastly, it was very hot in the restaurant and waiting an hour for what should have been a quick order just made it even worse. Lunch turned into being dinner.

The best Chicago hotdog I have tried in Oklahoma. The hotdogs are very freshly made and the fries are extra crunchy. Very tasty. Dont let this old mom and pop restaurant fools you. Great service and the people are very nice. Recommend the Nick-a-licious Chicago Hotdog combos. You wont regret.

The food is such a fun idea, and it test great! The employees are what makes this place what it is. The first time we went, the owner walked through the whole menu, and after we ordered, food came quickly. He sat with us, and asked us about what we do, and told us how we came up with the place. He also was so good with our kids. When it came time for sno cones, they had such fun mixtures and flavors. The, as she called herself, burr-ista let my son make most of the snocone itself. She sat out the pieces (just enough for him and the rest stayed behind the counter with her), and he was able to take them and make his snocone. Every time we have went back, they knew our names and so much about them.

It was pretty good. I got the beef hot dog and this one was called Judge Judy. It had chili, slaw, and crumbled chips on it. The hot dog itself wasnt the best quality (I know because I buy the really good ones at home). The toppings made it taste better, though the chili is just a packaged chili from Walmart. It wouldve been nice to have a homemade chili sauce. Next time I go it will be to take my niece for a snow cone. Oh and the place was busy. It took 35 minutes to get my one hot dog. The staff is nice, just wish I got my food faster.

Great place to eat. Clean, great food and above all, the staff is so attentive and kind. They really take an interest in making sure every customer is valued and has a good experience. Will definitely be making this a regular establishment in my dining out

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! The owner came over to our table and talked with us for 15 minutes. Hot dogs were fantastic!! Atmosphere was eclectic, yet simple. Price was reasonable. Highly recommend

We stop by this afternoon and had an incredible experience. There are soo many choices for their hot dogs and they have other options too including vegetarian options. The fries were the best I have had in a long time. We also got to meet the owner because he went up to each table and asked how the food was. He is a great man that talked to us for a few minutes. He also owns the thrift shop next door. I can not recommended this place enough.

The food is amazing! The staff is fantastic. We were greeted on our trip with a run down of how they do things, very kind and funny. Snocone was great too! I absolutely look forward to many return trips.
