The Human Bean

We used to like Human Bean and would get our morning coffee there... but it seemed to have gone downhill. :( Maybe it's the young kids working there now (like super young kids, I mean, ugh). But anyways now their lattes taste like steamed, weak coffee !! and yet you still pay the price of an espresso drink. Sigh. Guess I'll stick to my regular place. Sorry, HB, but thought you should know! ☕

Just a drive-thru but the vanilla latte was outstanding. I got a snickerdoodle cookie which was a pre-prepared thing which was okay. Nice little touches they serve to chocolate covered coffee beans with your drink. The server was friendly.

I bought a small Green tea smoothie that was full of ice chunks and two ham and provolone sandwich which was like biting into rubber. Spent $14 and change along with a generous $5 tip. This was at the North Bend OR location. I will not be going back. Very dissatisfied.

We waited for at least 10-15 minutes before the car in front of us even budged, then the girls who waited on us were talking a lot between themselves and didn't pay a lot of attention. So the last 3-4 its been bad service. The drink was bitter also even though I asked for it to be sweet.

They were amazing. Today was a huge day for them and no one was frazzled imo. The line was super long on both sides everyone was so organized.

Sadly, quality is rapidly deteriorating. Coffee is bitter, the amount of whipped cream has been cut in half, the granitas are thin and watery. Now there is a notice that prices are increasing, which would be understandable if the quality remained high.

At this point, I'm moving on.

Their mocha espresso shake is wondrous, and the staff are always awesome. I also appreciate how community oriented they are, frequently stepping up to help out community members in need. I am proud to support them with the same dedication and generosity they show to others.

We ordered our usual. 2 20oz Snickers with a shot of peanut butter. Staff was friendly and fast. The total opposite from the Coos bay store!

I asked for two shots of expresso and some milk and I basically was given an empty cup by a somewhat bored barista and I am not coming back..... Perhaps it was a problem of communication but the 12 oz cup was maybe 25% full 😢

Ordered a large hot chocolate and a large latte. Both absolutely delicious the correct temperature. Not too sweet. But with enough sweet. Will be going back. Customer service was fabulous fast efficient and affordable.

Awesome staff. They were all out of green tea products , hense the 4 star but it's a decent coffee drive through. They have a good selection of coffee, smoothies and even bagels. I must be lucky, everytime I've gone with my sister, theres no one at the drive through. But when I'm out on a walk, theres always a line!

I don't know why all these coffee places in this town don't know how to make a chai anything! Ordered a dirty chai and it tasted like plain coffee and everytime I order a regular chai it barely has a chai taste!
