I visited Michael's store on
2-17-2023.

This is a very impressive craft store, and they have a variety of items. When I walked into the store, there were motion sliding doors and a large area with the carts and other larger items. When you look into the store, the first things I saw were the sales. Holiday items were on clearance, and they also had other upcoming holiday items regular priced. I couldn't turn down the candy on sale.
Walking through the store takes some time to look at everything. It was very clean and organized, and the store had a lot of lighting.

Most of the items had rows of items such as yarn, fabric, frames, and crafts.

There were numerous options to frame items, and they had a lot of sales going on. They even had large poster frames, which I have had a hard time finding for movie posters.

I found different items to keep sports memorbilla in.

They gad a large area for hobbies for kids and adults. There are a lot of activities for kids in different areas.

I was very impressed with all of the choices and with the prices. They had numerous sales going on.

If you are looking for hobby or craft items, I highly recommend checking out the store.

Anytime you need help there are several workers walking around and the staff I met were very nice and helpful.

They had so many stuff on sale when I went in it was do nice pluse they even have other spots where they have like little cubies that has all kinds of crafts for $1 $2 $3 so on all over the store all the time.at least when I went.that was I think 2 weeks ago it nov19th now. I always enjoy this store it's a great place for yarn and they have a wide array of home hobby and crafting items. I do a lot of crocheting blankets and they always have great prices on Carson yarn. And their staff is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of crafting there's nothing they can't help you with there.

Went in with my wife browsing the picture frames and they have a fair amount, not as much as other stores but a decent amount. They have a great art supply / craft selection. The staff is friendly and very helpful with questions. If you can't find what you are looking for at other stores, check in here.

Fair selection and pricing, though recently the diversity of brands has somewhat diminished. While most anything can be found related to art supplies, you may only be able to find the item in the Artist Loft store brand. Not the worst quality of store brand items but certainly not the brand name quality you may be in search of.
All in all, a good place to find art supplies and crafting materials at a reasonable price and most requests can be had with site to store purchases if you can afford a few days wait.
Staff is generally friendly and plentiful, most being knowledgeable and helpful. Always a pleasant visit.
Almost never a wait, even when busy but this location very rarely busy by anyone's standards.

Honest review...I live an hour away, I've been to this store about 8 times....( only twice since the start of Covid) this is the worst location. Employees are very nice but this store has only a fraction of what other locations have. I usually leave without buying anything. Extremely surprised it's still open with Hobby Lobby pretty much right next door.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Went in to get some things to augment my woodworking hobby/business, and because I am not exactly a "craftsy" sort of guy, I had a bunch of questions about the things I was looking for ie where they were how they worked etc. The staff went out of their way to answer all my questions and help me find the things I needed. They also made suggestions on other items I might be interested in, and if they didn't know the answer to a question, they collaborated with each other and found out the answer.
Also, they advised me of a couple of offers and discounts I could take advantage of as well. when they found out about why I was there, they also advised me of the launch of Michael's "Makers Place," where I can list the items I create for sale.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I fully intend to keep shopping here for my crafting materials. Totally recommend this place.

Going in here is a pretty big disappointment. The prices seem extremely steep for home decor. This place had 1 other person shopping here, on a Sunday. I'll stick with Hobby Lobby from now on because of the prices and selection. Since Hobby lobby is closed Sundays, I'll stay home instead. Just my experience.

Went there hoping to find a miniature latch for a small wooden gift box I had made. Although an entire aisle and a half of balsa wood crafting stuff, zero hardware.

Did however find an already made wooden gift box with a latch on it and the whole thing was 2 bucks. So in the end, I got my latch.

Not enough choses in gel pens. One large set when you want smaller sets of different kinds. A bit pricey.

Cashiers were helpful in using my app and putting my discounts on my card. Needed help finding a stitch counter and even though he didn't know what it was he directed me to the exact place the item was found. Customer service is #1 @ Michaels!❤

Prices are high, selection is half of what it was when first opened. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Get to know your stock and learn how to talk to customers.

November 24, 2021. Dropped off artwork at their customer framing center two weeks and a day ago. They gave me a deadline of yesterday. Pre-paid $$$. Came in today to see where the project is, turns out something happened to custom matting a week ago, but did not receive a call. I needed this project done before black Friday. Now I am out $$$$ on my projects being sold. No call.

Picked up other cheap products, went to cash in rewards, turns out they are not attached to one's phone and I had to download the app in-line. So many hoops to jump through and never got a chance to cash in any rewards.

This store is in serious trouble locally and nationally.

The store has very little to choose from for such a big store. The prices are outrageous, even with the "sales". Definitely bypass this store and go to Hobby Lobby.

The store is about half the size it used to be, and wow is it expensive! $7.99 for one 2" wide silk flower....I didn't even want silk flowers, I just saw one that looked like a dahlia and picked it up. I thought they were bunches,, but it was a single stem with one flower. Sticker shock! What I wanted were some baskets, and I was told by the (rather condescending) associate that "Oh, we don't carry them anymore....we haven't for a long time!" The vase selection is but a fraction of what it used to be, and the ones they did have were severely overpriced. I'm sorry I drove 52 miles to take a shopping cart for a walk. At least there was a Hobby Lobby & a Jo-Ann Fabrics closeby....but I won't be going back to Michael's.

Lots a great stuff. Whole bunches of crafty things that you need but didn't know it.... until you see it here. Friendly staff. Clean store. Make sure you have time to just look around the first time you go!

I'm only giving it a 3 based on difficulty finding my items and supply of them. I sketch alot....there is a super small selection of items. My local Walmart has a better sketching selection for supplies. Please fix this.
