ACME Markets

This ACME has an employee who violates health codes and food safety standards at every chance. The employee has been doing this for almost 40 years, yet ACME continues to hide it by quietly shuffling the employee around to different stores every few years. The employee in questions does the following: coughs and sneezes onto food, utensils, and supplies while preparing food, does not wash their hands after using the restroom, does not follow any basic grooming standards, and (as pictured) places their work apron on the floor by the toilet when using the restroom. Do not buy prepared food if you shop here. You will get sick!!!!

The store was clean the shelves looked stocked, now maybe because of the time there was no regaister open only self check out.
I personally don't care for self check out because the way I see it I'm spending top dollar on over priced goods and I'll be damned if I have to ring myself out plus bag those over priced goods ,, so yea, not a big fan.. the store can really use a remodel it's set up in a manner that tens to have no organization and small deadends with the worst floor displayed.

The manager whose name is, Russ is ignorant and self-consumed by himself he should learn how to treat and talk to his customers better and realize that the customers are the reason why that store is still open. Acme, you sent me a response to contact you. I did contact you when this happened. I’ve been waiting a week and no one has responded to me so I have already tried to contact you about this at your customer service number.

I called at 5pm to inquire about what time the seafood department closes. I was told by someone in the seafood department that they closed at 8pm. I get there at 6:50 and the seafood department is closed!! Waste of my time after driving 30mins to the store. To say I was annoyed is an understatement.

I ordered a ham from here and it was packaged two weeks before being sold to me. It also had an exp date of almost two months after the package date. It was spoiled, My son and I got sick. I reached out to corporate/HR and no one has responded although an email sent back to me said the manager of the store was notified, given my email/number and they will contact me. It’s been a month and nothing. Horrible customer service.

Twice now in the past two months where I bought something from this ACME that is past expiration date. First product is shelf stable oat milk, and second product is oatly's cream cheese. I am so over having to drive back to the store to either return or exchange these products.

I just had a terrible experience going through the self check out line. I asked for assistance and the lady told me she'll be with me and continued to have a converstation with another customer but it was personal not anything to do with work. I was checked out by a young girl who literally didn t bag a thing, and I had a rather large order with rather large items like Kansas soda things like that she didn t bag any of the smaller stuff so once I was done, she stood there and watched me bag my own things Rather than helping, and there was an elderly woman behind me who had to wait for all of this to happen and there was not one second of oh let me help you with that. Let me get that for you. There is nothing but attitude as if I was taking too long and I was in the way when I m not the one that gets paid to work also, when I left, she was begging everything for the woman behind me so they really need to do something about the people that had working there because they all the attitudes last time I checked I don t get paid to work at Acme and I don t work at Acme and they get a super poor customer service rating from me and I come here all the time and they always get a super poor customer service rating

Acme on Trooper is a good one stop shopping trip. It is never overly crowded when I am there so checkout is fast. The deli has good pick up selections for busy nights. The produce is kept fresh and presented and organized in an appealing way.

Compared to other stores in the area Acme is expensive! Ive also noticed that you have to really check the dates on fresh foods, I bought some prepackaged grapes and when I opened them the next day, there was mold in it.

Went to this ACME because it has a pharmacy that I use. Usually a small line waiting for service. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have not shopped the grocery store area yet.

Younger man in deli tonight refuse to help me get macaroons. He stated they dont pay me enough for that. It was rude. Lucky for me a young man Tyler came by and assist me. Thank you. Also the lady in the bakery was also washing the mop bucket in the industrial dishwasher they use to wash the cake pans! beware!

Nice, clean store. Pretty much you can get all the stuff. A bit pricy but as long as thats for a quality stuff its okay. The only complain is that they pretty much never has fresh fruits, especially strawberries, blueberries, etc. If they make them available all time fresh, Id not have to go to another store.

Shopping at Acme has been a pleasant experience so far. We all know how companys can change quickly but, so far by clipping digital coupons and the sale prices they offer my grocery bill has been consistent. Kind people nice offerings so I will continue to shop here.

ACME Supermarkets never disappoint. Fresh Deli food and wall to wall snacks and beverages. Perfect to stock up for NFL Sunday Night Football. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Always use the self checkout and there is always someone to help right away if I need help. Nothing is worse than waiting for a sales associate at self checkout, this has never been an issue here. Also everyone is super friendly!

Follow-up review stopped to get a few last min items for Thanksgiving. We did have to look a few times to find what was needed and options were limited but I suspect that was related to restocking which was underway when we visited. Thanks for having convenient hours so I can avoid the crowds and leverage self check out.

The Acme is one of my many stores I stop in for my Gatorade drinks and food ect.. Prices seem to be moderate or a little pricey however they have a good verity of food products & drinks! Acme often have sales on meats. For example 4 different items like extra meaty spareribs, chicken breast, NY Steaks, & Porkchops all high quality and delicious. Acme also sells youre favorite beer & Wine as well as SAVON PHARMACY where you may drop off your Prescriptions to a very nice & insightful pharmacist, John . Do youre shopping then pick up youre meds on your way out... Oh I almost forgot, you may play the Lottery , from scratch off tickets to the Powerball. Last but not least, Acme has a very nice assortment of beautiful & and amazingly smelling flowers. Good prices pick up a fresh bouquet for youre lady and make her day...Amce is truly a One Stop shopping experience. Check it out I think you will like it! Wheelchair accessible.

Usually Im happy with my shop however, the last few trips I was unable to purchase everything I needed due to not having it on shelf or ordered and stockers are not always sure if the product will be ordered or not- sometimes frustrating.

First time there in years. Has gotten a bit pricey considering I normally shop at Wegmans, Weiss and Walmart. Found it to be the most priciest in the area even compared to Giant. Not saying anything that is not a nice place to shop and people working there are very helpful and courteous. They definitely need to bite the bullet on profit margins for the and due to years of the owners and upper management profiting has them troubled and faultering and going to with stock will not remedy it at this point since no one has money to invest and people who do are not going to do so by investing in a doomed company. So my opion overall great place to shop or was Now just to pricey Great stores faultering on inflation and the company more worried about the bottom line. Customer retention is key and dont see it happening Like I said Great Grocery Store Too pricey due to lack of upper management profiting and now trying to recover by passing higher costs to you If you have money to burn great place, well stocked if you are on a budget. Look to several other in the area. One you all know does just 100 million a year in business and is still managing to keep prices down and shelves stocked THIS IS AN OPTION PLEASE CHECK FOR YOURSELF

Main reason I went to the store was to get lunch meat, and the deli was CLOSED! Only small paper bags available at checkout, and the attendant at self checkout was rude.

I am not the food shopper in the house. But I do love how fresh the fruits and vegetables are from this location. My family has no problems getting in and out of the market quickly, even though the place is full. The park lot is like driving on a nascar circuit. Everyone is always moving and fast.
