The young ladies working here truly make a great place amazing! The service and kindness of these young workers were amazing!

I opted for the cheesecake berries, and it was amazing! They roll the ice cream on a cold stone and fold the fresh berries into the ice cream. My wife and daughter each loved what they got as well.

We are going back again tonight:)

EDIT TO ADD: when I came to pick up, they told me to leave and then come back hours later, not just wait a little bit. She said it wasn’t ready at all, even though I received confirmation it would be ready by a certain time (12) and I still gave almost 2 hours after that time for it to be ready as I showed up closer to 2. The staff was sweet (2 teenage girls no manager there) but had no idea what to do and was obviously overwhelmed. She then wrote happy birthday in shaky letters across the cake last minute. It was very disappointing especially when the manager seems to have no remorse for the situation and instead blames it on the time I booked even though that option was available online. I received email confirmation too that it would be ready by that time, not that it might be ready or that I would have to switch it out for something different last second with hastily written words on it. I was also told there would be a refund given while I was in the store and stressing about what to do, as I was told to leave and come back hours later. They could have called to let me know the situation and that they were behind and what my options were beforehand if they knew they were slammed and running behind the confirmed times that were sent to paying costumers.

Placed an order online for a birthday cake to pick up the next day at 12. tried to pick up after 1 and was told the cake was not ready at all and I would have to come back. The party was happening within 20 minutes. The 2 workers told me to go ahead and grab a cake from the freezer (different than what I had initially ordered) that I would be refunded to my card. I rushed out to make the party. They then never refunded me and when I tried to dispute with my bank, they lied and said my husband came in (??) and just took a cake from the freezer and that my original cake was ready. This is not true at all and super bizarre they would lie. I was told for my hassle, wait time, and cake that was not the decoration or flavor we wanted, that we would be refunded but then they lied.

Love the ice cream variety, seating indoors or outside, and the ice cream taste amazing especially on a hot Sunday afternoon. Certainly my go to spot now for ice cream On Sundays.

Very clean location. The staff was attentive and efficient. We enjoyed a couple of different flavors with addings... it was all tasty.

legit so sad and disappointed. a gurl just wanted her sweet treat for the night, pull up at 8:40, door were locked and they close at 9. the “employees” all though they looked like hooligan TEENS were sitting down eating, messing around, hoping on each others backs and acting a FOOL just stared at us confused to why the door wouldn’t open. i can’t even express my disappointment. so not cool. y’all actually suck for that.

Sooooo just went to Coldstone and tried to use a coupon that was emailed to me for my birthday to get buy one, get one free. Worker told me I couldn’t use it because it was “computer generated” and basically tried to say I was trying to use a fake coupon. Now mind you, I have received this same coupon every year and have never had a problem using it until I tried to use it at this establishment. The coupon clearly was from Coldstone, and said to present it at a store for use. I can’t be the only person in America that has received this coupon…but oh well, won’t be going back.

UPDATE: Thank you for your response, however I went to another Coldstone, presented them the email from my phone and they honored the coupon without a problem. Take care and be well

I went to Cold Stone yesterday, the day of the .99 cent smoothies, at 7:00 ish, and as soon as I walked up this older man put up a sold out sign for the smoothies. I asked about it and one of the employees said they did not have any more.. So I bought ice cream and the customer service was very poor. Everybody was very rude and how you sell you out of smoothie mix? I will not be going back.

They locked the doors before 8:45 and they close at 9:00. They just looked at us through the door as they were sitting down and doing nothing. Very disappointed.

Ive had my bad experiences with this North Augusta Cold Stone. Its a really good franchise when it comes to everything being fresh and stuff. In this store its the management. As you can tell by the replies to this review section he is very snarky and just a straight a hole. Its so sad that a store with such potential is run the way it is. But you know there are 2 sides to every story

Love the ice cream but the management/owner treats his workers terribly and talks down to them instead of putting in time to properly train them. Just chill out. Its an ice cream shop. Its never busy and people arent gonna mind if the person is a little slow while learning.

It s a shame how poorly the staff are treated. The NUMEROUS stories I have heard of the disrespect from the management turns me away from giving them business. Employees are important in running any type of business and they should be treated that way.

No Public bathroom to wash your hands, rude staff, poor quality product, all reasons not to visit this place. Disgusting! Boycott this place! The owner will not respond to queries and questions and leaves his staff to answer for his failures!

If youre going in for a regular visit, you likely wont experience an issue. I had a coupon dispute with the owner/franchisee. He was in fact the one my complaint was routed to, and I should have guessed as much given my background in corporate ethics. My concern is not so much the dispute but the way I was treated. When I asked to whom I was speaking, the question was ignored three times. I dont appreciate such dishonesty. He even went so far as to refer to himself in third person. He repeated his argument to me over and again, so I gave up. Simply let him know that his mindset in customer service was foreign and while he may think hes making gains hes losing business in the long run. Were used to better customer service in this community. Im not the only customer with a negative experience. Join the All Things North Augusta page and search Cold Stone Creamery. He is perceived as rude by the majority of members. Try the Pink Dipper, a local ice cream shop instead. Or, drive across the river to the Evans location. Another issue is how he treats his employees, who are mostly teens due to the minimum wage. He tends to fire them the same day with unrealistic expectations. We all remember our first teenage jobs. We were shy at first and take some time to learn. He does not allow them the time they need. He also conducts training unpaid and pays cash when he fires these teens to deny any record. That is illegal, but I must admit cunning. So, the choice is up to you. Certainly dont allow your teen to work here. Beware if you have a conflict.

This was my very first time visiting and will NEVER come here again. The service was horrible and I felt rushed! I asked for a waffle cone and the lady puts the ice cream in a bowl..and says we are out of cones AFTER the fact. Very rude...never again!

Its NEVER READY ON TIME EVEN WHEN YOU ORDER ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME.recently It WAS ALREADY A 17 MINUTE WAIT,TURNED INTO 40 MINUTES TOTAL before we received our order.One girl was working everything when we first arrived..this has not been our first bad experience here with online pickup wait time. Will NOT BE BACK ...be PREPARED TO WAIT AND WAIT SOME MORE HERE.

False advertising: They dont offer curbside despite the huge advertisement on the door. Reply to the owner: I wasnt a third party delivery driver. Your associate said you dont offer it to anybody and that the signage was outdated.

The ice cream is phenomenal every single time, but the service... not so much. I ordered 2 ice creams in 2 different sizes through door dash. When I received the order they were both the smallest size they have and I only ordered one that size. I called the restaurant to let them know about the issue and the guy that answered the phone said it was door dashes fault and I had to contact them. Do the dashers make orders now?

This was a really good experience. I got there right after they opened, so everything was clean and organized and there wasnt a line for service. Theres no inside dining options since they are using tables to ensure 6 from the counter but it didnt prevent me from seeing the product or watching them make my ice cream. Really impressed with the customer service and efficiency overall and would definitely go back again!

Just a note. The North Augusta location does not have curbside pick up as listed. They do have no contact deliveries through Postmates.

Ice cream was OK, but only one of four servers had a mask correctly worn. No encouragement or enforcement of people for social distancing and no indication of hand washing or surface disinfection efforts
