Every time I try and go around 10pm (they're supposedly closing time) I get there 9:40-9:45pm and they are literally closed early every single time....and I jus want some simple stuff like gallon of tea and milk...this happens literally every time, multiple times a month....if anyone else had that kind of sweet tea, I would literally never go back and make it a point to avoidthis location....if you say closing at 10, then adhere to that...

This FD is not the best. Some of the employees are friendly and nice to speak to. The store it's self is horrible it is junky crowded not space to maneuver around products. They never have anything in stock that is mostly needed. You have to cypher through the mess. I don't know who is in charge but they need a reality check THE STORE IS JUNKY. I don't know what is going on but the store is HOT!!! I told the employees to walk out because obviously their supervisor or manager does not care about their health. I only came to get a few things. I couldn't even stay in the store, I just left.So I know the workers are exhausted. I asked for the manager the young lady said she was not there. She told me to come back in the morning and she shuold be in. I said no worries I'll just contact corporate to log a complaint.

I've never experienced bad customer service here; the people are always pleasent. The place is just always filthy. I very rarely come here because the aisles are always cluttered, sometimes to the point you can't walk down them. The fridges smell so bad that I have needed milk a couple times but can't bring myself to buy it from there. A good clean would do this place a lot of good.

This store would be a 5 out of 5 if it were more organized. There is so much extra stock sitting in the aisles, that it is very hard to navigate around all of it. There was a crew of people stocking today, so hopefully that will alleviate some of it!

The cashiers are always rude and even refuse to speak when you say hello. Also, aisles are blocked due to loads of products not placed on the shelves.

Was not all that great of a store but the parking area is kind of small and has the entrance you come in on the side with 'DO NOT ENTER' sign so you have to go thru the parking area for the strip mall on the other side to get out. So now you have other cars from there trying to get out the only exit.

I visited the store 07/22/22, and the Caucasian associate advised the store was closed. It was 945pm and their were other customers waiting to get in as well. I am very disappointed bc the store hours clearly states, 8 am-10 pm! The store should not close early bc an associate wants to go home, if the lazy bum don’t want to work, then stay home, it’s always something at this University boulevard store!

The sign on the door says they close at 10pm. I got there at 9:38. As soon as I pulled in the parking space a women came to the door and looked at me and locked the door and walked away. I live less than a mile away and only needed baby wipes for my baby. Due to her doing that I had to drive 6 miles to the next walmart.

It was alot easier finding quality products for such lower prices than the big retailers, they even had a much better assortment of cold items as well which makes me wanting to go there more often while on a shopping trip

This stores answer to panic shopping. Take hand baskets and carts away. Probably too lazy too clean them. Never come there again!

Literally filthy. Employees tossing clothes, food, cleaning products, and more in the floor as they stock shelves. I tripped 3 separate times with my baby on my hip in one aisle. Absolutely shocked at a business operating this way.

I had to make a return, but was hesitant after hearing negative reviews; but the cashier and manager was very sweet and the money was back on my card right away. I love the clothes at Family Dollar- the sun dresses are adorable and so comfortable!!

Pretty decent but therez alot of clutter in the isles. They could be as lot more organized. The employees were nice and very helpful. Other than be little more organized it was ok Family Dollar location. Look at the reviews that say same thing. Jus gotta fix clutter and organize.

Stopped in to get some storage items. The store was in shambles. Almost every aisle was blocked with something whether it was stock to be put up, or just piles of items that needed to be put back on the shelf (there are still Christmas items everywhere). I had to turn sideways to get on some of the aisles. This store by far is the worst store I have ever been in. I did not purchase anything being I couldn't find what I was looking for due to the mess.

Boxes everywhere can not push cart down isles. Very sloppy store..Every time I go there on University Blvd No Charleston, SC. The store could sell more if you could get down the isles.... Only one lady working as she told me so that she was by herself. Pitiful !!!!!! On Saturday afternoon 2pm.

Was removed from the store because of the type of ESA pet (sugar glider) I have for my PTSD and major depression disorders. Was told only animals that can enter are dogs and ponies.

I wish there was an option for negative syars...This place is a total wreck. Merchandise, boxes, freight carts everywhere!!! Everything on the shelves was unkempt and disorganized. The owner needs to lock the doors and not reopen until he hires more manpower and gets that store in order.

There was merchandise in containers to be put out on the floor blocking areas I needed to look at. Not just one area, all over the store. There were 7 people in line with one cashier. A guy I'm guessing manager came our with a till for cash register, he waited as a woman left behind the counter and then came back before that register was opened. Not right away. Family dollar expects their employees to be a cashier and stock at the same time. Poor customer service at this one. It was like a bother for her to ring me up. Family dollar - hire stockers!!!!!!

Can't beat the cost because the products that are compatible to the original products and that is why I like to shop here same ingredients it's just a different name and you save 80% cost.

Stocked but cramped store needed more help to assist and checkout customers. Poorly planned pos terminal placement and customer traffic flow. Felt like I needed to kick my way into and out of this store. When they did finally open a second register, it took a supervisor and a second employee multiple attempts to get the cash register to accept both of their passwords collectively to make the register work. (I didn't even know other employees were in the store until this incident}.

Shockingly, everything seems correctly priced. An old woman was holding up the line but they called up another cashier to assist. There was some totes of stock blocking the aisles waiting to be shelved, but that's the only problem we had.

This afternoon, I came into the store, during my lunch break, to have an items security tag removed. I had purchased this item a few weeks ago and kept forgetting to return it to the store to have the tag removed. I walked in and asked the older gentleman to remove the tag & I explained that I'd bought the item a few weeks ago. He looks at me and demands a receipt and accuses of possibly stealing the item. I looked at him confused. I stated, that I didn't have the receipt being that I had purchased the item a while back. He raises his voice and says he didn't know that & I could've easily stolen the item. I told him to roll back the cameras and see and he said that it'd taken him over an hour to do so. I was so taken a back by his extremely rude demaanor, I could hardly process what was happening. After barking at me in front of everyone in the store, he reluctantly removed the tag and as I walked out he yelled "You're welcome !!" I got into my car, almost at the point of tears. How dare he speak to a paying customer that way. It was very uncalled for and so nasty of him. I called the store wanting to get his name because I decided to call corporate. I called the store and he answered the phone & when I asked for his name, he claimed he couldn't understand me. I asked again and again and he refused to give it to me and said I had to come back into the store to get it then he hung up on me. I called back again and he picked up the phone and hung up on me again. I drove back to the store and walked inside and saw him immediately remove his name tag. I waited my turn in line and he asked what I wanted. I told him that I was appalled that he hung up the phone on me twice and he said he was helping other customers. I asked why he didn't put me on hold? Then I asked for his name, I stated to call corporate and tell them exactly what he told me. I told him I'd planned to call corporate as soon as I got his name. His unprofessional behavior caught a lot of attention in the store as he was yelling and carrying on I front of other customers. It was embarrassing. I asked his name for a final time and he said it was Anthony. I did not believe him and was unsure why he would give me such a hard time just to simply give me his name, so I confirmed with another employee named Tim, who said that was in fact his name. I can not believe the low level of treatment I received in your store. I was verbally accosted for no reason and I did not deserve it. I work in the customer service industry and understand how to provide a excellent service even to customers I don't care for. It's your job to make sure the customer is happy. I am absolutely appalled.

Filthy. The outside looks like a dump and the inside isn't much better. Although, from what I hear paying people 7.25 - 7.75 isn't going to get you great results. Companies need to appreciate their employees better pay = better results.

GUYS clean up your store it's absolutely filthy in there. Put someone on the schedule just to clean up or something if you're too busy at the front! Every aisle has over stuffed boxes of merch cluttering the walkway and I have seen a german cockroach in here more than once. There's always a creepy stray star balloon floating down a food aisle (which is located at like the opposite end of the balloon station, how does this even happen?) Yall know it's true so do better Lol.
