Palmetto Goodwill

Matthew was a TOTAL Santa for me on yesterday. He was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! Due to the busy holiday season, not very many customer service representatives have the time to not only help someone over the phone but to help me in the store , hours later while looking for something that my daughter saw the day before. HE DID and I am very grateful for his help along with the nice gentleman who helped me load the heavy item!
A very Merry Christmas to all of you and God Bless you for the continued blessings you give to the community!

I’m very impressed by this good Will shop that has the best prices as well as a very organized book set up and clothing racks. I got a lot of children books for less than $2 each and nice shoes for $8. Nice to support charity, reduce consumer waste by buying on line or in a shop ie boxes plastic bags etc. 5 star experience!!!!!

The store had really good variety. The prices are a little bit too steep especially for the purses. Also, many of the clothes had stains on them. Other than that, an average goodwill. I still don't like the fact that the CEO is a millionaire. This is a profitable business. The cashier was very nice and she had very good customer service.

This review is for the retail store specifically as I didn't go into the clearance center. The store is well organized and as someone who has been a life long thrift shopper, the prices are as expected for the time we live in. Employees were super friendly and polite, I left with a smile on my face and an armful of clothes for $22.

Everyone was greeted accordingly when entering the store.Great customer service. The shopping experience was great. Although you do have to spend time looking through the products. It wasn't very organized in some places, but overall it was great experience. When you take the time to look, valuable items and other things can be found to fit your needs.

One of the best thrift stores I’ve been to. If you can get over the fact that you’re sifting through peoples old clothes, then you can usually find some great things. Definitely recommend stopping by the binds. The prices are just so good.

We purchased a coffee grinder, brought it home only to discover it doesn’t actually work. Apparently they do not test anything prior to re-selling it. Buyer beware!!

Not a lot of clothing for men but they do have a lot for woman and kids. They have a lot of dishware and cool nic-nacs. They have some furniture as well that wasn't in terrible condition and even had some computers and stuff. It's worth walking in and checking out.

I gave the store one star because I couldn't get through on the phone so my buddy and I drove up here looking for a piece of artwork big enough to fix my broken picture frame and replace it with glass. I could have found out that they didn't have anything that big without driving that many miles up the road. At least I was able to talk to to other Goodwill locations the phone worked at these and I was able to talk to employees and not waste my gas

Not your typical shop!! The CLEARANCE CENTER has tables piled with random clothing, others piled with housewares, and some with books. These are all sold by the pound. I love it because if you have time to look, you're going to get amazing deals!!
If you're not this adventurous or don't have the time, head NEXT DOOR to the regular Goodwill store.

Everyone at this goodwill is essentially just waiting for you to get out. They start counting down the hour til it’s time to close starting an hour before. It is uncomfortable. If you come in past 7pm they literally greet you with “welcome to goodwill you have 45 minutes.” Thanks.

It's amazing that their prices are so high when they claim to employ the disabled as a charitable cause but place all items of value on ebay skipping the employment altogether. I donate all my Broken electronics and trash to goodwill cause of this greed.

Great place to find interesting things. Me and my dad found an old Panasonic boom box from the 1980s turns out it’s worth over $400s now. Highly recommended you to go to here if your looking for something rare because we found even more things since then. Not to mention the staff is very friendly and the prices are nice too. The old boom box was like $5 AND it works very well and so are the other things we found there.

I'm not happy with this location...the people handling the carts were letting certain regulars get 1st dibs on EVERY new cart that came out. There was even someone waiting by the door for guitars that were coming out that he was apparantly informed of beforehand and was able to get them 1st...they pick and choose when to ring the bell. If the regulars are waiting for the new stuff and not around..they ring it...if they're standing there waiting.. they dont ring it.
People were not happy and shaking their heads because it's very unfair to not have a chance at the new stuff.

There was alot of people and quite busy during our visit but the manager working the front checkout did an excellent job holding it down, did a professional job with a nice friendly attitude... something not seen often at alot of places. She deserves more help and a pay raise

Huge selection of everything at great price. Picked up several gently used designers brand men's clothes 10 pieces for under 25.00 One polo shirt alone would be 50 dollars new

Parking lot, flower beds and entrance had trash everywhere. It was aweful. Household and other items were extremely over priced. This was the worst Goodwill that I have ever been to.

Treasure hunting in this store is always time well spent. There's not a lot of men's clothing, and that may be my only complaint. I used to score hard to find PC and electronics components from their computer store located on the opposite side of the complex. Needless to say, the prices are more than reasonable.

It's a typical Goodwill. I was a bit frustrated in the lack of labeling for price. For example, I looked at their books. There was no sign stating specific books were a specific cost. I saw no book with a sticker with a price. I went to the register to ask how they were priced and was told they were all the same price. I asked if that was the case with all sizes. I was told that was correct. So I found a few books and went to pay. The first question out if the cashier's mouth was doi you have any children's books. I asked why, I thought they were all the same price. She said no. This was THE SAME girl. This was maybe 5 minutes prior to checking out. I felt like she could have just made up whatever price she felt like giving me. I did not appreciate that moment.

EVERYTHING WAS SO OVER PRICED. AND DIRTY. I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMETHING THAT'S DONATED. THERE SALEING FOR THIS PRICE. I BOUGHT A GEORGE FORMAN GRILL WHEN I PLUGGED IT UP TO MAKE SURE IT WORKED THE SMELL OF DIRTY GREASE. MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT BODY PART THEY HAD COOKED ON IT. THIS PLACE WAS NASTY. AND THERE WAS 2 CACHIERS. ONE WAS VERY POLITE. THE OTHER ONE NEEDS A COURSE. IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT WILL BE A COLD DAY IN HELL. IF I EVER STEP FOOT BACK IN THIS PLACE.

Main store was ok. The side where they bring the bins out at low, per pound prices, is a bit crazy. The need to grab stuff in a hurry brings out te wildside in some people, lol

Clean and not crowded. Unfortunately, not very organized. There were multiple things marked Small by Goodwill that said size 10, 12, or even 20 by the brand. Also, other goodwill stores that I have been to had the DVDs at the register, this one leaves the DVDs inside the case and you could see people's fingerprints all over.
