A very cool and classic downtown location. If I lived in an area like this...no doubt I’d go there often. Kind and courteous staff, and the store stocks all the good and sensibly priced items you’d expect from any Dollar General.

This location doesn't look extremely clean. The store used to seem better, but on a recent trip, the selection seemed lacking, yet full of stuff. The deals/discounts weren't super clear and either something was placed in the wrong area or the employee (or manager) didn't ring it up correctly and she did not seem friendly. The person I was shopping with said she felt rushed. I think multiple things were rung up with different prices between what was expected and the price given after being scanned, and one was a big difference. The items weren't the same as before and, although some were good finds, not everything was.

This Dollar Gerneral is the best! The Manger at this store is really awesome! And all the workers there bust there buts to make sure everything you want and need is on the self. And pluse they make sure the rollers are out of your. Where you have No Promblem to get to the things you need and want. This is the top best clean and friendly workers you can come across to.... Alot better store inside since they've gotten new fridges for their cold groceries and moved some of the shelves for more space. The store just needs a bigger parking lot and the outside building remodeled to bring more attention to customers to gain more shoppers for business.

Never enough employees working on my book, this store is always cram packed seems like your estimated wait time to a register is about 10-25 mins.... No over exaggeration here folks!!!!! I was in this store last night,couldn't find everything I was looking for so I put my stuff back up, drove to another dollar store, found exactly what I needed, one of my products was almost $1.00 cheaper than this store on main street, now can anyone explain that to me????? I figured that all Dollar General stores, everywhere in the world had the same prices on every individual product, this fat girl was wrong again!!!!! Craziness

I'd really like to give this place a 3.5 but I can't so I gave it a 4. I grew up in the area around this store so naturally I have my rose-tinted nostalgia glasses on but I will try to be brutally honest as usual. This being a Dollar General store, you can usually find stuff at a fair price here. What's interesting about this particular store however is that over the years they have figured out how to stuff more items on the shelves then you would expect to see in such a small store. This is great because more choices are always a good thing to have when shopping. Unfortunately, this works as a double-edged sword because there is "so much stuff" there that it can feel overwhelming navigating the store. Although I'm sure the store has a back loading area to receive freight, if an emergency like a fire were to happen, with all the junk in there I could see it getting out of control very fast and someone feeling trapped because there seems to be only one way in and one way out at first glance (on the flip side, if a Xenomorph chases you in there and you have a flamethrower in your hand, you can be damn sure that he won't follow you inside). In one particular aisle, I tried to turn around but I couldn't because it was so narrow; I had to just continue to the end. I literally felt like I was Austin Powers trying to turn around in that narrow hallway in the movie. It can feel really claustrophobic in there but that is probably it's only flaw. The staff was friendly every time I've been in there and you can save some money...especially with coupons if you know what your doing.

This is a new remodel store which is great .they not new management which was also great.and the best part is the newly done and sealed parking lot that Deals Paving and excavating which who I work for and I'm one of the 2 I'm guys who did the job. And you can check it out for your self .d

One if my favorite places to shop, the dollarstore has moved way up with its selection and the quality of their products ...well atleast the one in Charlotte, TN has....not sure about the rest in Dickson county

I've done several reviews for Dollar General in my day and every single one of them are the same they're either overstocked or under stocked overstaffed are understaffed but one thing that always runs the same through all of them is that they have you both everywhere in the aisles during the day when people are trying to shop. I cannot tell you how frustrating this is to try and get a product and I got to move your U-boats out of the way I don't understand why you can't do this before and after the work day so that you're not inconveniencing your guests
