Love's Travel Stop

For the most part, this is a great store. Friendly staff, clean and well stocked. I would have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the shower experience.

To be fair, the shower wasn't horrible, but there were small problems

I was in shower 3, which is one of their handicap showers.

The first thing I noticed were some bits of toilet paper in front of the shower entrance. I picked those up and tossed them before thinking to get out the camera.

The lights are controlled by a motion sensor. If you sit on the toilet for too long without making any exaggerated movement, the lights will cut off. That was fun. 😬

The shower wand, which is really helpful for handicapped people, was laying on the floor with the hose connecting to it barely holding on for dear life, with what little reinforcement that was there completely gone. The adapter that the wand is supposed to slot into when not in use was very loose and floppy, and couldn't even hold the wand. Nobody likes a floppy wand anyway.

The last thing I noticed, after I'd stripped and started the shower, was that there was no rag. Showering with a hand towel is an absolute pain, let me tell ya!

And yeah, the lights cut off on me again while showering. So I had to step out and flail about for a few seconds every few minutes to keep it from doing it again.

Like I said previously, other than the shower experience, the rest of the store was great. I'll definitely be stopping by here again, and maybe that floppy wand will be fixed by then, eh?

This store in particular is my favorite, it's always clean and I'm always treated great. Especially by one employee named Perla, she gives definition to the name loves! My visits aren't the same when she's not working, she makes sure I leave with a smile on my face. Nonetheless this store is big part of my week and I recommend it to anyone passing through.

Personally I look forward to stopping at this location before heading out. Showers are always clean. Staff always friendly. It does occasionally get a little busy but it's to be expected. I am starting to see more and more 4 wheelers taking up our fuel islands. Not to happy about that. Otherwise keep up the great work.

People do take pride here doing their job; the place is very clean(they even clean the pumps)and has what you need. Kudos to management. Air on pump 20, and 17.

Clean store, nice employees, late evening tire repair at the loves shop was easy and pleasant, had a nice laugh and conversation with the guys. thank you for quick tire fix!

I'm usually happy with Arby's in Love's Travel Stop. But I arrived home to find my bun, not only looking burnt, but it SMELLS👃VERY♨️burned. I paid almost $8💸for one item of🗑️🚮 trash. There's worse things, but would've been happy to wait for another batch of buns to be toasted. I normally would rate the food side of Stop~5 ⭐, on occasion the leave out an item. So now, not only do I need to check all items are present in bag, but open them as well. Meat 🥩and a bun🍞, how is that done wrong?

I do enjoy Arby's, have been since birth, so I enjoy that the RGV has 3 stores that I know of.

On a positive note, this store is always quick in the drive thru and I like the setup of drive thru area. Easy in easy and out no matter which way you're heading on highway.

Price on the pump was $20 higher than what I was charged. Makes me wonder if there are no other issues with the pump.

One of the best loves I been to in a long time. O and yep the 3 weeks I been around I have gotten used to seeing miss smiles every time she has made it well worth visiting down here as long as I get to see her smile I could stay a Fer more days or so

Sooo much space to feel super comfortable of turning in pulling a trailer. Also gas was 6 cents cheaper than another gas station we'd passed about 2 miles earlier.

The security guard called the police with out speaking to the truck drivers that parked in the fire lane at 11:30 pm. had he had the bobtail trucks park in the correct spot the regular truckers would have had a place to park. One truck was over sized and shouldn't have had to move, the driver asked him to call DOT he didn't want to do that. These guys provide for all of US and for safety reasons I believe he was wrong. We will NOT spend a dime again .

Lots of great things to choose from at this loves truck stop convenience store! They have snacks, food, drinks, gift shopping (phone accessories,necklaces, earrings to key chains,etc), clean restrooms, showers for truckers also has an arbys that you can dine in for late night!

The young man cleaning the showers the 1st day I was there was doing an amazing job. I can't tell you the last time I saw anyone actually cleaning the showers. Most just make it look ok. This man was scrubbing. Pride in his job. I hit the ATM just to give him a thank you. I appreciated the job he's doing.

Very busy place but always neat and clean. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly, hot coffee all day as well as a wide variety of snacks and drinks. Electronics for travel can also be found here. Staff is always friendly and professional.

Unlike stripes and circle k it's an amazing gas station you can pay on the pump which is my favorite and they have a lot of food oh and it's delicious they have chargers Gatorade and all you need to go to the pool or to the beach.

Well I guess people in Texas are just rude. The lady at the counter in the truckers department spoke to us like we were dogs then proceeded to make fun of me with the manager the entire time I was in the store. I will be calling corporate. This is unacceptable behavior! Just because I’m not from here doesn’t give you the right to make fun of how I talk!
