Egg Farm Cafe - Flower Mound

First time coming to Egg Farm Cafe this morning and walking in the place was so cute. Large seating area but they are understaffed. The waitress we had today was not very communicative and customer service was bare minimum. She did not state her name but she was a white blonde lady. The other 2 ladies there, 2 brunettes I witnessed greeting their customers and being super kind. Wish we had one of them as our server. While we were eating, the server never asked if we’d like anymore food and just brought us our check while we were eating. We barely sat for more than 15 minutes.

This was such a cute place that I’ve always wanted to try! It was so quiet and peaceful in there. My husband and I got to have a rare breakfast date. The food was delicious and cheap. I got the eggs waffles and sausage and it was so good for being so simple. Their bacon is also amazing! The price was just a little cheaper than any other breakfast place in the area. The service was great! The lady who served us was so sweet and had conversation with us. I will go back here every time.

Me and my boyfriend came here this morning, when we first walked in we didn’t feel comfortable. Our waiter had a bad attitude. She took our drinks then came back and took our food order, in the middle of my Order she thought I was done and cut me off. Then when she was taking my boyfriend’s order her iPad quit working and advised us that she would be right back. We thought she’d be back instantly.. we waited 15 minutes for her to come back and asked what my boyfriend wanted. Then she came back 10 minutes later and asked what was my order. With it not being busy in there, they had plenty of staff just standing around not doing anything .We waited 25 minutes for 2 simple meals to come out and they weren’t even hot, it was cold. When she set down my plate I noticed liquid on the bottom of it. Liquid doesn’t usually come with a scrambler.. and before mixing it, the Avocados Were brown and the plate already looked like it was mixed together. Then when she was was done setting out our plate I asked if I could get the Apple sausage I ordered. They forgot about it.. we took 2 bites out of our food and was done. Then we were plating up our food in the To-go box we noticed the bottom of our plates were very dirty. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because they came and took it away in the middle of me about to take the picture. Needles to say it was our first time coming here and the last time coming here. The issues with the customer service, and the cleanness and the wait. We weren’t pleased. We were highly annoyed.

My wife and I visited this place after seeing it driving by - always on the lookout for a good breakfast spot.
Due to its location surrounded by upscale apartments, we were concerned about a wait, however, we were seated immediately.
Our server, Susana, greeted us promptly and politely, and took our order quickly, repeating it back to ensure accuracy; coffee and water were delivered quickly.
We both had omelettes, but made modifications to the menu listings, along with a bowl of fruit for my wife, sliced tomatoes for me.
The omelettes were delivered quickly, were correctly made; all the modifications observed, and the English muffins we ordered dark were properly toasted the first time, a rarity in our experience.
I’m sure I’ve had better omelettes, but it would be difficult to remember when.
The ambiance is friendly and relaxed.
This place is a winner; we’ll return.

Jump start your day with this family owned business. Two eggs any style. The pancakes were flaky and had a good sweet essence of vanilla. The eggs and the hashbrowns did need a little salt. The out west omelette was made with fresh ingredients and savory. Parking was easy to find and the diner was as well. Black Approved

We went here today (day after Christmas). They were busy but we got seated in less than 10 minutes. My husband got the steak and eggs which he said was better compared to other brunch places. I got the chicken fried steak — delicious! Our kid got the Mickey Mouse pancake and it was huge for a 4-year-old! Everyone was friendly and nice. Someone was walking around with a coffee pot so our cups were never empty. I think we found our new favorite breakfast place!

The service was fast, even when we came during a packed Sunday brunch. Our wait was brief and once we sat down, we were treated to a symphony of brunch excellence. The BLT with avocado was the very definition of what a BLT should be. Often I’m wary of someone reinventing the wheel, but they’ve made something better than the wheel with this sandwich. We loved the staff and really had more fun than any person should have at breakfast.

Nice background music playing upon entry. Everyone in the place was smiling from the patrons to the employees.
Very clean establishment.
Solid number of menu choices for breakfast or lunch.
My waitress was Mayra and she has a smile larger than life. She totally makes you feel right at home. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with jalapenos, hash browns, biscuit and sausage gravy with a side of bacon.
The food arrived quickly. And let me state for the record... The omlette was cooked to perfection. Lightly browned with everything inside hot and blended.
Everything was cooked with flavor and to a high standard. This is a highly recommended must try establishment.

If you guys are looking for someone to cater your food, look no further. we used egg farm café for a catering and it was a great hit. The chicken avocado wrap is one of the best wraps I ve ever had. The turkey and bacon wrap were also so delicious. Thank you, Sam, for providing us with such delicious wraps for our meeting. i m glad that you were able to answer all my questions when placing the order. Looking forward to using you guys again for any of our events and meetings. Strongly recommended

I used to be a regular customer to this place, but today I received the worst customer service, Ill never be back, I placed an order for pick-up to have Breakfast with my kids, I needed to repeat 2 times the order, and when I got there, I repeat my order one more time, when I arrived to my apartment and open the bags, One sandwich was missing and when I called them, The answer was But we didnt charge you for the sandwich and what about We are sorry? We Apologize?, nothing they were only worried about the money not about the customer. Not coming back ever to that place

Dont come over here! Because he doesnt care about unhappy consumers, the proprietor wont respond to you for days. The portion sizes are so tiny that their menu is deceptive, and nobody will advise you to anticipate less. In addition, he charged me without tipping his waitress. Very sad proprietor that gets upset with customers over the phone and a business that is constantly dead! refused to give me a refund, claiming that I was to blame and that he would take no action before hanging up! Now I know why no one is ever there. Ive worked in the food industry and Ive never seen such bad management and Ive seen a lot. Would appreciate my money back! - Dear Sam, I never mentioned what I left for a tip to the server over the phone when we spoke, even though we didnt see much of her, It seemed wrong to leave nothing to your server, but it seems that didn t matter. I didnt know I was subbing out anything due to your grammatically incorrect menu, which you admitted over the phone that you are aware of which is the reason my traditional did not come with all of my food but yes then again I found out your portions are small even if I hadn t been sharing that day. I can now understand how crucial the money you refuse to return to me was to maintaining the viability of the business you run, but for how much longer? Sam, theres a reason why the handful of negative reviews left by myself and other patrons on your restaurants website exist. Our assessment was accurate. BTW I think gifting my dad another day without coming to your restaurant would be a wonderful Fathers Day. XOXO

This place it s amazing the food and service are top notch my kids are very picky on what they eat. But not here they love everything on the menu the servers are super friendly and kind. So please don t let those reviews discourage you on trying this place. Remember some people just put bad reviews because they didn t get their way and putting bad reviews it s their way of retaliation.

Service was very slow we had to ask for someone to find us a waitress. The super cold. My sandwich was just okay not a good way to start my first time visiting this restaurant. My moms hash browns were not cooked all the way and the biscuit was very soggy.

Had the biscuit and gravy bowl with hash brown and eggs and English muffins. Perfectly cooked and wonderful selection of jelly. My co worker had chicken fried steak with pancakes was great. The coffee was delicious it was nice and strong. Our waitress was super friendly and did her job.

Went this weekend with my fiancé and had the best breakfast I have had in a long time! The butcher skillet and pancakes were phenomenal. The service was top notch and it was an incredible atmosphere and everyone there made you feel right at home! Will be going back soon for sure!

Went in on Friday , Dec 1st , with my friend to grab some orange juice to go ~ girl at counter was not very friendly and seemed annoyed . We waited and she makes the small styrofoam cups and it s very loud so I can barely hear her and she has an accent but I m pretty sure she said $14.. we step outside and look at receipt and I couldn t believe I was charged $14. So we went back inside to question the cost , and she confirmed . So we told her we would like to get our money back . She got the manager ( I guess ) he was not friendly and barely spoke 2 words . He gave me the cash back from what I was charged on my card , but took it upon himself to add $2 extra to the original amount . My total was 14.05 on my receipt , but posted as 16.05 for bank transaction . WHY?

Were looking for a new breakfast place, and sadly, this was not a good first impression. The service was good, prices were competitive with other similar places and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was very average. Hash browns were not edible, way too greasy, and tasted like they had been frozen. Other customers left theirs untouched, and we also noticed. Probably wont go back.

We have been guests, and diners, at the Egg Farm since it opened in 2020. Love everything about this local, and family owned, restaurant. Rocky was a lovely host making us feel as if it was our own home. Recently our beloved Egg Farm changed ownership. We were apprehensive!! Nothing to worry about. The new owners have not missed a step. Kept all the staff employed (thank you, classy touch) and we still love having breakfast/lunch at our (still) favorite brunch venue. Today was one of our (absent) great-grandsons 3rd birthday. We had a marvelous surprise. A tribute pancake to Arthur! Precious gesture! Thank you. Sue and Howard

Food was good, atmosphere was okay, but a bit noisy, as was expected. The only real complaint was when I was checking out. There was a long line to pay. They also had to-go transactions occurring. What was EXTREMELY ANNOYING was, as many of us were waiting to pay, a to-go customer who had just arrived was allowed to cut in front of SEVERAL of us who had already been in line before the to-go customer arrived. Was not happy!

its quiet Cafe. we ordered a latte and grapefruit juice. the latte had a chemically burnt taste and was not enjoyable. the grapefruit juice was more tolerable, but I would recommend to not juice the the skin on because ended up tasting very bitter. also got the smoked salmon Benedict with hash brown. they were very crunchy not very edible.

8-19 Egg Farm Café Egg Farm Cafe is AWESOME and the food is delicious! This is the best place to have a coffee, breakfast and lunch. They have the freshest ingredients for all the dishes. I HIGHLY recommend it and you will not be disappointed!!!

Been a while since weve been back to Egg Farm. Weve been trying out other places. But Egg Farm will always be one of our tried and true breakfast places. The food has always been good; cooked well and presented well. I ordered the Butchers Choice skillet. The rest of my party ordered the Salmon Benedict, the Breakfast Burrito, and the Garden Omelette. All tasted very good. Serving sizes are huge so everybody had their fill. Service was very fast and friendly but never rushed. Im glad that theyve continued to keep up the quality of the food and the service from the day they opened their doors.

I got sat in the back corner of the restaurant. Over 15 minutes went by without acknowledgement by anyone, even though I was literally five feet from several servers and a manager/hostess rolling silverware. Another manager eventually sees me and moves me to a different table and takes my drink order. Then, a server comes over and takes my food order but gets it wrong. I wanted the chicken fried chicken, not chicken fried steak. And the CF steak was rubbery as a chew toy. Will not go back.

IMHO Overrated and Overpriced. Very basic food with sub par service and premium prices. Ordered veg out skillet which had burnt hash browns as a base and paid 5.99 for a lukewarm macchiato. I heard rave reviews about this place. Disappointed.

The food was good and the portions were good sized for the price EXCEPT for the $3.59 food service coffee which was MORE than soda. I think our waiter forgot about us which was disappointing considering it wasnt super busy. If the manager needs a smoke he shouldnt do it on the front patio.

The waitress service was perfect. The food took a while to arrive, I ordered an omelet and some eggs Benedict. The omelette had a strange flavor like they werent real eggs and the Benedictine sauce was very thick and the bread was very hard to cut with the knife. I do not recommend it.

Amazing breakfast with friendly service every time. Super clean, everything fresh. I have tried about 5 things so far, all were homeruns. I ve usually gotten breakfast, but last 2 times got a big 8 oz juicy burger and one of the best Reuben s I ve had, and I am an expert! Ha

Difficult to order as a vegan here Dietary restrictions: I got avocado toast which was pretty boring. Grits which were great but I dont think were vegan. And I cant remember what the 3rd thing I got was. Nothing stood out.

Just had breakfast, I had 3 eggs scrambled with mushrooms, spinach and avocado. A side of bacon and coffee . Guess what the cost was $25.50. That really seems a lot. I know cost has gone up but 3 months ago I had the same thing for $17.50. I challenged it but they didn t budge. I won t be back and this was a regular spot for me.

The food was so flavorful. We had the Mickey Mouse Pancake, Smoked Salmon Benedict and the Butcher s Choice Skillet. The Mocha (not pictured) was fabulous. I did end spruce up the latte a bit by adding one of the French Vanilla flavorings that was on the table. Parking: Plenty of party even though there are plenty of shops around.

This was my first time in this place. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and was very disappointed in the food. The eggs were overcooked and the Salmon was undercooked and tasted super fishy. After taking one bite of the Salmon I scraped it off to the side and didnt eat anymore of it. As a general rule, I never send food back so I just dealt with it. The place was crowded and the service was decent so obviously all menu items cant be bad. Overall l found it overpriced for what it was.

Good selection and good food. Average prices and comfortable setting. Music wasnt too loud and everything was clean. Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options but more would be appreciated.

I am currently eating a Reuben and I have to tell you, this is the best Reuben I ve ever had. Superb service and fantastic food. Absolutely stellar. Food is like seed bursting through my mouth and filling my stomach until I m full. My stomach is inflating.

Egg Farm Cafe is AWESOME and the food is EXCELENT! They cater for our companys meetings and do not disappoint. We are so fortunate to have this local gem just a few minutes down the road from our offices. Rocky is extremely attentive and is so accommodating when I place the large orders. Either stop in to Egg Farm for breakfast/lunch, or order catering for your next event...I HIGHLY recommend it and you will not be disappointed!!!

I was expecting good things given the high ratings. We came at an early hour. 2 other tables were seated, so not too busy. The place felt fine atmosphere wise. One plate was served with an old avocado half with a significant amount of black on it. Clearly past ripe. When the manager was informed of this, he let us know that sometimes avocado comes like that. This is understandable, food does indeed go bad and sometimes you dont get fresh, especially with avocado. Most places have the sense to not serve those though, and if they accidentally do they will at least replace the bad item or discount the plate. Neither of these happened. I think they genuinely did not understand that the avocado was bad. The rest of the meal was fine. Taste-wise I would have otherwise rated a 4-ish. That said, there is no excuse for serving food that is going bad. The complete failure of management response drops the rating to what it is, as it makes me doubt the standards in the kitchen and the quality of the rest of the food.

Amazing everything! We went for a birthday celebration and had about 15 loud ladies!! The service was amazing. Elvida was our server and she was the best. The food was heavenly!! We will be back!

I m a truck driver so I try to find good places to eat everyday. I definitely found a great place today. Atmosphere was was delightful and the staff was very friendly. My new favorite place when deliver to this area again.

One of the best and fluffiest waffles I ever had in my life. I tried the chicken and waffle plate and the chicken was on point. Great service and staff are very attentive with customer. No long wait. Price was good Clean restaurant 10/10

I gave two stars because the food was decent but the male server with dark hair glasses and an accent was rude. I made an order beforehand and was told it included more food than what I received when I arrived to pick it up. I checked my food when I got into my car and noticed food was missing. I came back inside to ask about it and was told that I was given the wrong information by the server . He was rude about it and was basically like oh well .

We went here today (day after Christmas). They were busy but we got seated in less than 10 minutes. My husband got the steak and eggs which he said was better compared to other brunch places. I got the chicken fried steak delicious! Our kid got the Mickey Mouse pancake and it was huge for a 4-year-old! Everyone was friendly and nice. Someone was walking around with a coffee pot so our cups were never empty. I think we found our new favorite breakfast place!

Giving 3 stars b/c this has been the perfect breakfast restaurant until now. On this last visit, the waitress was extremely inattentive, it was almost impossible to get a warmup on the coffee. I ordered an omelet with chorizo. The chorizo was relatively flavorless and was about 90% gristle. Ill go back but will never again try anything with chorizo.

Egg farm, more like that s a neck farm. As in they ll slap your neck metaphorically if you think the prices on the online menus are the same. Ordered an Iron Man Scrambler for what I though would be $14, check came out for $23 smh. Wasn t even top quality, that meal was a soupy sadness with no mushrooms :( Hey owner if you can see this, I hope you profile some of deez.

My experience with the Egg Farm Cafe In flower mound Texas was nothing but perfect. The Cafe was absolutely beautiful, the owner is very pleasant and his staff is wonderful. The food is phenomenal and the music and ambience left me feeling refreshed. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Gluten free french toast, eggs, bacon and sausage. The french toast is phenomenal, the bacon had 2 thick slices of real bacon. The eggs and sausage were pretty normal over all great meal. The service was pleasent our server was nice and didnt take forever to comeback around to check on us. The environment was clean and comfortable has the feeling of a nice mom and pop shop but the look of a high end restaurant Definitely recommend.

Most of the food I ve had has been good. I m love hot biscuits, but they were cold when they were served The coffee is very good. The service depends on who you get. The staff is friendly.

My favorite breakfast place for awhile now! I never get disappointed with anything I order from their menu, the food is always fresh and delicious! If you are a coffee lover, you have found a good place to have a nice cup of coffee, whether its regular or any specialty coffees! The restaurant provides with a warm atmosphere and great service! Give this place a try, you will love it!

Service was good but the food and atmosphere were just okay. The food was a bit bland and our biscuits were dry. The iced latte was pretty good. There were a lot of gnats and flies buzzing around which was unpleasant.

Just got my 1st order & am beyond unimpressed. The smoked salmon ( which I imagined was lox) was baked/cooked. The scrambled eggs were chewy & over cooked...like on high heat the entire time. The fruit cup had 2 grapes, 2 cubes of watermelon, & 2 cantaloupe...which equaled almost half full. This was the most unappetizing thing I have ever laid my eyes on! I couldve made this better at home. It was almost $15 for w soggy pieces of shame.

Decently good breakfast but a little over priced for the quantity, hence the 3 stars. I was surprised to only get one piece of toast as a side and thought they could have given more hash browns. They cooked my bacon well which I appreciated. Server was good. My husbands pancakes didn t come with any side at all. Probably wouldn t go back again.

I am so glad I went there. The Butchers Choice was a great breakfast meal. Michelle did a great job, keeping my coffee hot and seeing that Ill be a repeat customer, trying something else on the breakfast menu.

This went from my favorite place for breakfast to the absolute worst. Whenever my friends or family are in town, We dine at Egg Farm, but I ll never return. Father s Day, my friend and I went for breakfast, our food was cooked to perfection and our service was amazing. But today was an experience from hell. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict and her eggs were over cooked and she explained to me that her salmon was fishy. I told her it wasn t a big deal because I thought it taste fine and I don t like sending food back, so she continued to eat it and finish the first one. After taking one bite into the second one, she said it was extremely pungent. She completely stopped eating it and asked for two over easy eggs and some toast instead. The cook came to look at us from the kitchen alongside two blonde servers. When our waitress came back she only gave us one egg and said it was because my friend had already finished one. We were confused because we had every intention on paying for the the new order. When I spoke to the owner to tell him of the experience, he explained to me that his server told him that we had been there before and sent our salmon back!!!!!!! I told him this couldn t have been true because we were there yesterday and we ordered something COMPLETELY different!!!!! We ordered two traditional meals. He refused to believe me even after I told him to check the cameras from the day before. I was embarrassed and felt racially profiled. Never again!!!

Nice background music playing upon entry. Everyone in the place was smiling from the patrons to the employees. Very clean establishment. Solid number of menu choices for breakfast or lunch. My waitress was Mayra and she has a smile larger than life. She totally makes you feel right at home. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with jalapenos, hash browns, biscuit and sausage gravy with a side of bacon. The food arrived quickly. And let me state for the record... The omlette was cooked to perfection. Lightly browned with everything inside hot and blended. Everything was cooked with flavor and to a high standard. This is a highly recommended must try establishment.
