Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I ordered 3 orders of Tuesday special, look this is what i got. I got 6 dried old of chicken thighs no drum sticks at all. Those pieces hard like a rock and nasty, why would they do that to us.

They are lucky that I did not feel like going back up there because I’m right next door. I asked the cashier 4x to fry everything fresh. I even told her I would wait. I ordered 8pc spicy, cook to order. Ten minutes later she tell me that my chicken is ready . I told her that was very quick , and she continues to tell me it’s fresh. Tells me to touch the box and everything. A part of me knew she was lying but I didn’t want to be difficult. .I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe they had just fried some up. I get home and it’s 8pc mild with three legs and some mystery pieces that have been recooked to make it seem fresh. She could have made her job very difficult that day by not simply fulfilling the order. The sad part is they were not even busy so there was no excuse. She barely spoke English but she spoke enough to lie. During this whole exchange I was very polite and regretted it instantly. She almost had a bad shift. So whoever was working Sunday night around 6:30, you should be careful because some people are not as nice as me.

Sonya at this location (Greenhouse) is the absolute BEST!!! She corrected my order with NO hesitation! Sonya had the perfect customer service EVER! Like back in the 90's! I will always go to this location because of her going forward! Ethan was great too. It's always great seeing smiles!!! Especially nowadays. Thank you both! 2nd time in a row that the food had been below average. The chicken is tiny, even tiny for Popeyes in general, which is known for little chicken. Usually they mix small pieces with larges pieces, burr this time every prefer is tiny. The French fries today are not warm at the least, they are room temperature. This is the closest location to my house, but I don't think I'll be back.

I came through here a couple of hours before Hurricane Beryl made landfall, and Popeyes was the only fast food place that was open. I think my order was missing a biscuit, but I'm not worried about that. I appreciate y'all being willing to get Wizard Of Oz'd so that I don't go hungry. Give these people a raise.

Sat in line for 35 minutes for 3 cars because the employees can only process one order at a time! Which is consistent because this is the absolute slowest location I’ve ever been too and today was my last time. Waiting ALL that time just to pull to pay give my card and have the guy say they don’t have regular tenders! I will never go back at this point the poor service and constant issues outweigh the location convenience.

SLOWEST LOCATION EVER. Drive-Thru employee takes one order at a time. As in, you don’t get to order until person in front of you has payed and is gone. Then, I get to the window and get sent to park at the front of the store for just a sandwich and WAIT LONGER. Save yourself the trip.

If I could rate with no stars, I would. Made an order today, and it was not as expected. The chicken looked great, but once I bit into it, I almost vomited! The chicken smelled bad! Awfully bad, I went through the order, took it apart, and over half of my order smelled spoiled! I tried to contact the restaurant, and of course, no one answered. I will never, and believe me, never buy from this location ever again. JUST PLAIN GROSS!

Yesterday I went to the Popeyes on greenhouse and the young girl at the window was very attentive and very sweet and my order was perfectly packed it was on Tuesday 6/4/2024 around 6:30 pm kudos to you!!! I wished I got her name to honor her!

I love this popeyes because the food always be fresh but i hateeee the customer services, everytime i pull into the drive thru im always asked to hold on for at least 5 minutes before they can take my order EVEN if it’s a order that’s been placed through the mobile app prior to me making it there. This is the only restaurant i know that takes one order at a time. Just ridiculous.

I had a bad experience at Popeyes. When I pulled up to the drive-thru, nobody answered for five minutes. After I paid at the window, I was told the shrimp wasn't ready and asked me to park in front. After waiting 11 minutes, a staff member brought out my order, which was cold and incorrect. I went inside to return it and had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food. To make matters worse, the staff did not apologize or show any concern for the inconvenience caused.

I sat at the order speaker box for 5 minutes only to be told that at 230 on a Saturday there are no shrimp. I won't be back. That means there are a few people who are not doing their job efficiently.

I spent 30 minutes between the drive-thru and the lobby just trying to place an order and was never able to. This is the worst service I’ve ever seen in a fast food restaurant. Between employee’s sitting in the lobby having dinner or dates. Employees from other restaurants stopping whatever service was happening so they could pick up material for their restaurant I’m not sure which employees that don’t know what they’re doing behind the counter. Nobody getting waited on.

The manager was silent and rude. The guy who took the order was lost but nice. Ordered chicken nuggets and I received shrimp. Not great when you're allergic to shrimp. If 0 was a rating, that's what I would rate this location.

Very bad customer service, extremely unprofessional. My fiance and i came to this location 20 minutes prior to closing and they refused to service us. The gentleman response was “we already started cleaning”. Very terrible customer service.

This is by far the best Popeyes in the area (out of 4: this one, Barker Cypress & I-10, Fry & Morton, Clay & 99). Unfortunately, that's not really a compliment. They're courteous here compared to the rest, but they also do things like forget part of your order and make changes without informing you. It happens so often that I feel it's intentional. After all, since the day they opened I have yet to see a mistake that was made in my, the customer's, favor.

Example: I placed an order tonight for a 10pc family pack spicy mixed and a 6pc ghost pepper wings. One of the 2 large sides, a mac & cheese, was replaced with 2 regular ones. Ummm... the regular sides are 6.5oz vs 16oz for the large, thus I was shortchanged. In addition to that, the ghost pepper wings were missing entirely. Again, this happens frequently! Even when you stay at the window and check, it'll be something not obvious like giving you regular chicken instead of spicy, etc. A customer shouldn't have to spend 5 minutes checking everything in their order in the first place. I would think this is just a failure by one particular employee, but outside of the first few weeks this particular franchise opened this has been the case, and the entire staff has turned over multiple times since then. All I can say is don't use the drive thru, allow an extra 5 minutes to thoroughly check your entire order, and hope they're willing to correct their mistakes in a timely fashion. After all, the other 3 locations are even worse.

Waited forever at drive thru and I was the only car. They were out of honey, they didn’t give me a spoon for my side and the tea was so sweet I couldn’t drink it. Oh and no receipt. Guess they knew they’d done a horrible job.

Dear Popeyes, it's Ðecember 26, 2023. 9:30 pm. Please check your schedule, and give all of the employees working tonight raises and free food. They are collectively the sweetest bunch of workers you could want. You have a good crew working right now and should do whatever it takes to keep them. I have worked in the restaurant/service industry for 25 years and have even managed restaurants. These employees here are amazing. They are polite, caring, kind, have awesome manners, and are good workers. Reward them please!!!! The food is good as usual too, of course.

On November 11, 2023 I placed an online order at 8:53pm to be picked up in the drive through. I was the only car in line yet the cashier took 5 minutes to greet me.

Upon greeting, the cashier made me wait an additional 10 minutes before I was able to tell them I placed an online order that should’ve been ready already.

The cashier proceeded to say my order would take an additional “1-2 min” for my chicken sandwich to be ready. Mind you I placed my order at 8:53pm and it was already 9:10pm. By 9:15pm the cashier said it would take an additional “1-2 min” for my strawberry biscuit to be made. By 9:20 my order was still not ready.

Ultimately I placed an order at 8:53pm that was rather small but I was made to wait until 9:25pm. Although there wasn’t a customer inside the building and cars behind me got their food first. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I ORDER ONLINE AT THIS LOCATION.

I ordered the sweet and spicy wings with fries and I asked the manager to make sure that my food was dropped fresh. She told me to park in the front of the store with an attitude. There was a few other cars waiting on food as well. When they finally came out with my food nothing was fresh the chicken wasn't the sweet and spicy they was the ghost pepper wings hard and cold the fries was old and cold . The store is run without management. Staff are disrespectful. On the last occasion, I opted to go in because the drive-through was stacked 5 cars deep before the call box. Cars backed out because they were tired of waiting. Upon entering, there were two staff members wiping the serving bay that seemed bothered that there was a customer at the counter. One approached and began to take our order while the other began screeching some ear-piercing "song" to the point that it interrupted the ordering process and caused the staff member taking the order to pull off her headset in frustration at him and slam it on the counter.

At that point, I had enough and just canceled my order and drove to the Popeyes on Barker Cypress to which we were greeted when we opened the door by the staff that had a "working" manager behind the bins taking drive-through orders and checked out within minutes of us arriving. Good Job BC Popeyes, great staff.

Back to the Greenhouse Popeyes, this isn't the first failed experience at this location. Oftentimes, I visit close to closing but never less than 45 minutes of closing time. Quite often, "they are out of..." meaning they don't want to cook it because they've started the closing process an hour early and don't want to start cleaning up earlier.

This is a review to get the attention of the Regional Manager of Popeyes and the Greenhouse Franchise owner. You are losing money at the expense of your staff that is failing. I advise that you routinely have secret shoppers go in and rate the place.

Quality of the food was horrible. Chicken was stale and greasy. I ordered a 10pc spicy family meal and received 6 drumsticks, 2 thigh, 1 breast and 1 wing. I ordered fries and they were stale and cold. After I complained twice I was advised it would be a 3 min wait for fresh fries. I should have checked chicken after that but I didn’t . Called the store for a manager and was greeted very unprofessional. I was giving the store manager info and was told they are only there on Tuesday. After driving 1 hour in traffic home I don’t have time or patience to drive back to Popeyes for food that should have be right the first time. I was not given my receipt but I called back and they found it. Store employee’s need training and to understand not to serve bad quality food.

I got a 2 piece chicken combo and the chicken was black as sin. The fact that thought it was ok to serve this to anyone is beyond me. I had to tell myself not to go back and slap the person who gave me that rotten food. I called back and they said they could do nothing for me. This location is deplorable and I'm definitely telling Texas Health Department. The owners of this restaurant should be dealt with.🖕🖕🖕🖕

Chicken and red beans were good. Thats about it. Strawberry biscuits look nothing like the ads. They r burnt and disgusting biscuits w a sliver of strawberry jelly. No icing. I got an order of red beans n rice and would think the employee would b smart enough to include a spork to eat it with.....nope. This place is run by millenial idiots. Had to go inside and get a spoon to eat my beans.
