Despite having a large group reservation several weeks in advance and confirming the reservation details (4 different times) with the manager, Tyler, our group of 45 arrived and had one server. The server, Aylin, tried her very best. The last person in the group was served their meal three hours after we arrived. In addition, the cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable - dirty plates and table. We will never eat at the W. T.C. Jester location again.

We had a work meeting at Spaghetti Western Italian CafΓ©, and the food was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, from the stuffed mushrooms and chicken marsala. The service was great, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a perfect spot for a productive meeting. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a casual dining experience with amazing Italian mix fusion food. Will definitely be back!

Great service at this Italian restaurant. The complimentary bread tastes great. Good variety on the menu. Some seafood and some tavern foods like hot wings are available. The interior has plenty of seating and plenty of parking on the side of the building. Some menu items like the pizza need improvement but still good as is. Affordable food prices. Full bar with lots of seating available. Outside seating is also available.

Good bye.
To Tyler & the owners; you started charging 3% surcharge and I was told by the staff it was a result of the new computers for the staff. Why should I be paying for equipment that all customers need? I'm not going to start carrying cash and park in your dark, unguarded/insecure parking lot and then be penalized on the check as well.
Never.

Good bye.

this place is so yummy. the diet coke is CRISPPPPP. i got a caesar salad and a chicken parm sandwich with fries. the sandwich is huge with a good amount of sauce and cheese, the chicken is fried well to that it withstands the sauce without getting all soggy and weird. great cheese pull. the caesar salad even as a side salad was a very good portion. the amount of cheese was good, with these really yummy thin sheets of parm as well as the sprinkle variety. lettuce was cold and crisp. fair amount of croutons but as a bread person there can always be more!

my server, destiny, was really kind and accommodating. i sat outside and she was still very attentive without being toooo much. prompt service and very nice!!

Honestly, it is a favorite local place for me and my family. We are "usuals" there, so I wouldn't be surprised if they recognized us reviewing on here. Every time we go somewhere else, we regret not going here. With fair prices and good warm food, it's worth it. Everything in the heights area is pricey, and it's nice to go somewhere that isn't trying to steal your money

Spaghetti Western Italian Cafe in Houston is a fantastic spot with a cool vibe inside. Our waitress, Samantha, was amazing. They have daily specials from Monday to Friday, and the steak night on Thursdays is a must-tryβ€”it comes with a 10 oz grilled ribeye and a loaded potato for only $20! My son and I had "The Ugly" and "The Bad" pizzas for lunch after checking on our rental properties close by in the Houston Heights. Both pizzas were delicious, and we finished off our meal with their tiramisu, which was fantastic. This place has a unique blend of Italian classics and a casual atmosphere that's really inviting. Highly recommend checking out Spaghetti Western if you're in the area, and if you're not, it's definitely worth the drive.

Wow, what a great, fun place to get a wide variety of Italian dishes at very reasonable prices. While this was the first time going, it will not be the last.

The chicken Parmesan entree was 2 nice sized pieces of large tender meat served with a tasty red sauce. The meatballs were about the size of a golfball and well seasoned.

Wine is very reasonably priced at $9 to $11 per glass.

Imagine a place where the owner takes time to ensure that you are happy with the food and service. Now imagine that he sits with you, shares a bottle of wine and gets to know you. Now you understand what makes this place unique.
There are hundreds of restaurants in this area of Houston. We have been to many of them. None of the owners have taken this much interest in interacting with us.

Half is bar vibe with what seems to be an older regulars vibe and half tables/restaurant. Interior is western style but it's an older spot so it you want a classy Italian vibe it's not the spot for you but if you want cheap Italian that's great and are okay with the setup I'd definitely recommend it.

A surprisingly quaint little italian restaurant that leans heavily on the tongue-in-cheek Spaghetti Western theme.

While the decor is entirely Western film themed, the food is the classic Italian fare you would expect from any of the other Italian restaurants in the area. A fun combination that gives this place a little twist while keeping the food recognizable. Although, they do take a few liberties with the food titles in keeping with the theme.

We came here to dine at night and the place was a bit lonely with plenty of seating available, whereas the bar was packed with Cooking Network on one TV and the football game on the other.

The food itself was good to great. The tomato sauce on my 'Raviolo' was thankfully full of meat but a bit thin on the tomato, which is a minor gripe as my Ravioli was dense with beef and the Bowtie Pasta was full of chicken. Our calamari antipasta was also excellent. Also very happy with the portion sizes.

Service was good and our waiter was extremely friendly although I think he may have also been the manager or bartender as well. Clearly very busy with the packed bar but doing his best.

No genuine complaints but nothing besides the decor really stood out for me. I mainly focus on food quality but if you're someone that cares more about servics then this place is probably more for you.

Ok, loved it! Came in on a weeknight so it wasn't that busy. Lots of Uber Eats orders were noted. Upon entering we noted the western theme with a large center bar and great vibes.

They were playing 80's music playing featuring songs we hadn't heard in 20 years! It was great.

Service was quick and friendly. Literally, waitstaff will visit your table leisurely so that you can ask questions about the menu. We never felt rushed or in the way.

They do a great happy hour Italian Margarita. Order one...or 3, they are worth it. As soon as we sat down, the friendly waitstaff let us know they had fresh breadsticks in the oven that would be out momentarily. Even if breadsticks aren't on your favorites list, you will love these.

As you wait for your entrΓ©e, we ordered the side Caesar Salad. It was crispy, flavorful and served on a chilled plate. Delicious.

We also ordered the Chicken Marsala and the Formal Wear Pasta. Both were huge portions and were served hot and fresh from the kitchen.

We literally, can't wait to be in the area to have dinner here again.

A cousin organized a family reunion at this location. I'm told they gave us a large room for no fee so that is great. It was my first visit and I was not impressed by the atmosphere, cleanliness or service. The whole building inside and out needs work and cleaning. I ordered a beer and a water early on before most had arrived. I had to ask for the water three times before I received it. We had a large crowd, filling four tables and one server. I placed an order for an appetizer and entree. Everyone at my table was served their meals and had completed them before I got my appetizer. The loaded potato skins were alright. They had chicken, bacon and cheese on them yet were still bland. It came with a very thin, runny marinara sauce so I asked for ranch instead and that helped. I was glad to have them because my pork chop along with a handful of other entrees took a really long time to come out. The manager came out and offered to comp everyone's meals that had not yet been served and as he was speaking my pork chop came to the table. Not worth the $20 as the pork was rubbery and bland. The sauce had a good flavor. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were basic. I took it to go because everyone was leaving before I could get into it. I ultimately had a good time with family and their company really distracted from the underwhelming experience. I would not return.

Ok I have been eating at Speghetti Western for years on Shepherd. I rarely go to TC Jester location but today I made the mistake and did . I ordered the lunch special which comes with Entree, salad and a drink. I had eaten at Shepherd location the day before and usually atleast twice a week, so I know lunch the special for $12 includes Entree, salad, drink and bread . When I received my bill I noticed that I was charged for the drink.
I notified my waiter who happened to be part owner. His response was quite sassy "I just made the decision that drinks are no longer included. I have 2 kids in college"

I thought to myself I really could care less how many kids you have in college. His response was totally inappropriate. He must really be hard up to charge a long time customer for a couple of ice teas. Maybe he needs a gofundme? I will never step foot in the TC Jester location again. The TC Jester location looks abandoned to me. I thought they were closed at first glance from the looks of the outside and the umbrellas were torn and needed replacing, not to mention I was the only one in there at lunch time . Truly a frustrated owner taking it out on a customer. Good luck Buddy you need the money more than I do. Thats why I left you a $6 tip. Hopefully this will help your kids college fund.

I called the shepherd location to find out if they owned both locations and was told there are 2 owners. One owner runs shepherd and the other TC Jester. Truly the Shepherd location and wait staff are by far superior in my opinion and a better decision if you wish to have an enjoyable meal and service and not be charged for a drink when it comes with your meal. I will certainly avoid TC Jester in the future as will my large group of friends. Those 2 ice teas cost you more than you will ever know.

Thank you

I ordered the grilled chicken chipotle fettuccine and the chicken wasn't even grilled or seasoned... but just tossed in the watery sauce that tastes like ravioli with Tabasco in it.

I called ahead for my order and when I arrived my order wasn't even put in because the bartender, Lisa I believe, thought I was ordering thru doordash. She kept bringing up doordash and I never once mentioned doordash. I questioned the price because I didn't realize that I saw the price of an old menu photo on Google review versus what she quoted me on the phone.

For the price you pay and the small portion you get, i figured the quality and flavor of the food would at least be better. 😐

I've been here 3 times now and all 3 were very underwhelming. 1st, this place looks like the "before" on one of those restaurant rescue shows where they do a makeover. This place needs an upgrade because eventually their clientele are going to die off. Which brings me to another point - this place is a hangout at the bar for people over the age of 60. This is fine but you can tell it's a group of people who probably wouldn't like change - like upgrades to the place.

The 1st time I came here I had the meatloaf. I'm not sure what day it was made but I'm guessing I was on at least day 3. It was hard, dense, and like they had just warmed it in a microwave. No way it was made that day.

Another time I came I ordered their wings. The pic attached speaks for itself. They were cheap, frozen, small wings like you'd get at your grandfather's house who has lived alone for the past 30 yrs. Zero effort.

The best thing I had their was their margarita. It was decent.

We had a party of 20+ people that like to eat. Drink service was quick. Food service, including breadsticks was just as fast and all of the food came out at the same time! Everyone was happy with the quality and portions of their food
Our server, Jessica was all smiles and had a great attitude. Thanks for a great experience.

Had to go twice because they missed items in my pickup order. Couldn't give a refund for the missing item over the phone. Didn't include utensils. Told me to talk to the owner tomorrow...

I have been a few times before this and the service was OK. Liked to support local. Will not return again.

Good for a weeknight for me & the wife, to get sold service. The food is good & just adventurous enough to keep me coming back. It is just around the corner from us, so it's a good choice if the 2 of you can't decide where you want to eat. Go to Spag-West. We like to sit at the Bar. Get the location is equally as good & local restaurants need the support. After a few times at the bar, it's jest like Cheers.

Must have been short staffed today as we went in & said we needed to be seated outside as we had a dog with us. They said fine so we seated ourselves outside. We waited about 15 minutes with no sign of a server. We went back in and asked for help. Server took our order. Food came out but no silverware or napkins. Also had to go back in to help myself to parmesan salt pepper etc.

Eric, High School class used the back room for an event, our first time there.
We loved the atmosphere, and the locals who were there from other high schools in the area who were our school rivals was loads of fun!
We stayed here for two or three hours after our event with another classmate couple.
I wish we live closer and should go there more often. We will remember the next time we get to Houston and have time- a "go to" place for us!

We went to a 59th school reunion and it was fun! Our waiter was the owner, himself! Very nice guy, pleasant atmosphere, and great food! My hubby had the burger, which was HUGE! Fries done perfectly, and I had the Hawaiian pizza, which was TO DIE FOR!! Great selection, generous drinks and a bar, with regulars watching sports and talking amongst themselves. You can tell Jim, the owner, has a great personality and doesn't mind waiting tables and serving drinks from the bar- if you go in, tell him Jeff Davis Class of '64 says hi, and that he does a great job of making people feel welcome!! Try it, they have 2 locations, and we'll be stopping in again when in Houston!

Very casual atmosphere! A lot of variety as far as food, which is great when you have a toddler. Our server was friendly & attentive at the perfect times. Everthing we tried tasted fresh and was excellently seasoned. If this place was close to our home, we'd certainly be regulars.

One of Houston's renowned restaurants. The food is very good and loaded with flavor. Service was good. As is the theme with many restaurants, cutbacks on staff during non-busy hours catch some restaurants off guard when a large group shows up. My service was good.

The food was good but our waitress was awful. She was nice but she seemed so disengaged and after several tries we just gave up. Literally couldn't get our order and bill right and we ended up being over charged. We were so tired of going back and forth with her that we just paid it to get out of there.
