I highly recommend this dining experience that my partner and I recently had in the Heights area of Houston, TX. We stumbled upon Local Table restaurant during our free time, and it turned out to be an extraordinary find.

From the moment we stepped in, we knew that this was not your average dining spot. The service was impeccable, with our server being extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I opted for the gyro plate while my partner enjoyed the shrimp tacos, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The use of fresh ingredients was evident in every bite, and we were thoroughly impressed.

What truly set Local Table Restaurant apart was the attention to detail from the staff. The manager, Michael, took the time to check on us multiple times, along with our dedicated server. Their commitment to ensuring a memorable dining experience did not go unnoticed.

I highly recommend visiting Local Table Restaurant for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the overall experience exceeded our expectations. It has quickly become a favorite of ours, and I have no doubt that you will enjoy it as much as we did.

This was my first visit. Everything and everyone from the greeting at the door to the final farewell was the absolute best. I was greeted and seated very quickly by a very inviting hostess. My server came by right after with the friendliest smile on his face. He was very nice when I had questions about the menu and promptly placed my order. I had the goat cheese, lemon pasta, and a Bailey’s latte. The apricots on the goats cheese was a pleasant first. Lemon pasta was so yummy and that latte was a perfect boost to a great meal and chill afternoon.

It is always good to come here. We've been like three times already, and the service and food are great. Brussels sprouts are really good here. Cocktails too. Nice environment inside with short brick walls. Recommended

This restaurant has the best service!! I got a server, her name was Alex D., and she was so incredibly polite and attentive. She was kind to my kid, and even brought out this adorable hand decorated cookie for him. 10/10 service, I would recommend her to anyone.

From the moment we walked in, the manager greeted us warmly and ensured we were settled comfortably. Throughout the meal, our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find such personalized and thoughtful service, and it truly made the evening special. The attention to detail and genuine care from the staff elevated the entire dining experience. Local Table is an America- style restaurant with several locations across the Houston area. This location, on 34th street, is one I have visited only a few times, but have always come away satisfied.

The atmosphere at this Local Table isn’t anything over the top or exciting, but that makes it just right when you want a casual meal without too many distractions. There are televisions in the bar area, usually tuned to sports. If you would rather not have that distraction, you can choose to be seated further from the bar or on the outside patio.

I like the food served at Local Table. I usually go for a burger or one of the entrees, like Mam’s Meatloaf or Anaheim Grilled Chicken. The burgers come with hand- cut fries, which are much better than the usual fries you get at other restaurants. Most all the other sandwiches, like the Philly cheesesteak, grilled chicken pesto, and others also include a side of these hand cut fries.

Local Table has a wide array of specialty drinks and wine, and they have a respectable beer selection that includes about twelve draft selections and twelve bottled selections. The prices are about in- line with what you would expect for this type of restaurant. Taken as a whole, it’s a good dining experience overall and a place worth visiting when you’re craving American cuisine.

The food here was SO GOOD! My camera was low on storage, so I only have 1 pic 😆. Service was super slow, but there could be a million reasons for that. This was my 1st time going & I will definitely be back! I got the Lemon Pasta and also had Artichoke Dip. YUM! 🤗❤️

Wonderful hidden Gem for the heights everyone was so welcoming and we received our food with in perfect timing the manager Michael was so nice and friendly if your every in the heights area this is a wonderful place to come get great food with a nice vibe our waitress Flynn B was awesome 10/10 definitely recommend this place

It was my first time having brunch at Local Table and I could say everything was amazing. I had Gabby as a server and she was so kind, also lets not even talk about the food and the manager Mike was always very friendly and attentive. I had the french toast and it was delicious. I would highly recomend this place for everybody. It has good music and good service.

We took advantage of the Thanksgiving meal for 10 and really enjoyed it. Everything came ready to eat - we picked it up the day before and it all reheated beautifully. The turkey was absolutely fantastic and arranged really aesthetically - we felt like there was way more food than 10 people could eat! We enjoyed it so much that we ordered the turkey and some sides a la carte for another party in early January. Michael, the catering manager, was really responsive and helpful, and I'm thrilled that he could make everything come together so seamlessly for us - all we had to do was pick up our food and serve! Great experience!

This place came through for me when I had a holiday catering order fall through at another place. Even though they had stopped taking holiday orders, Michael did me a huge favor and took my order. Other restaurants did not offer the same. They were so awesome and kind. I took a chance on this place having never had their food before and I was so glad. Their mashed potatoes with poblano gravy was amazing and an interesting twist on a traditional side. Thank you!!

Visite el restaurante en Diciembre para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi mamá, éramos un grupo de 12 personas y nos atendieron super bien.

En general el local es bastante tranquilo, cuenta con un gran tamaño, las porciones son ideales, y los precios muy accesibles.

El menú de Local Table es bastante variado por lo cual es ideal para ir en grupo.

Personalmente recomiendo los siguientes platos: Local's kabob Plate, Lemon Pasta, Mediterranean Salmon.

Con respecto a la Lemon Pasta aunque no es catalogado como un plato picante, al tener red pepper si estaba algo picante.

El Local's kabob Plate tiene un sabor especial, vegetales al punto, pita de buena calidad.

Seguro que vuelvo pronto a este lugar.

Such a great restaurant. Had the fajita salad and it was amazing. Best suggestion I can give is save room for dessert. The croissant bread pudding is to die for!!!!!

lemon pasta with chicken was good

cheeseburger was ok. not great, not bad

chicken fried chicken was dry. the sauce that comes with it wasn’t very good. nothing else was available as a sauce.

salmon was rubbery but tasted ok

bacon jam club sandwich was good

service was horrible. just, horrible. slow. inattentive. forgetful. even with semi ok food, the service ruined it.

Today was our first day trying Local Table, we dined in and the ambience, atmosphere, were so welcoming! The food was excellent and the server Flynn was even better. We even got a visit from the GM Michael who made our experience even that much more pleasant. We received a complimentary Croissant bread pudding that was the icing on the cake. This is a hidden gem, we will definitely be back!

We ordered a turkey and ham for our holiday gathering and they delivered on Christmas Eve! This was one of the only places that offered this option and it made our holiday gathering so much less stressful. The food was delivered warm and beautifully displayed and they came upstairs to set up disposable chafers to keep the food hot. Maria was so kind and helpful and we will absolutely be in ordering from here again. The turkey and ham received so many compliments and was so flavorful, tender, and juicy.

Went on a Sunday. Had a reservation. All started well. We ordered an appetizer & a meal for 2. Our meal arrived and no appetizer. Our server stated another waiter had mistakenly taken our appetizer order to another table. She offered to being us another appetizer but we declined as our meals were already in front of us. Our server apologized but offered no additional solutions. Not good for our first time experience.

We had brunch this morning at Local Table for the first time and what can I say everything was on point. Our server Flynn was great, our food was outstanding. Even the Manager Michael stopped and welcomed us to the neighborhood, he even gave us a croissant bread pudding to top off everything. Will definitely be back soon! Great job Local Table.

My first experience going here with my team was awesome. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate 12 of us. I enjoyed the food so much I decided to order to go the week after. Sadly I noticed hair in my food so I immediately called and Andrew was very nice and understanding, even stated to let them know when I come back cause they’ll accommodate. I decided to order a different dish to go the very next day without letting them know because getting a free meal wasn’t a necessity to me. Sad to say I noticed a piece of hair in my food so I immediately called inquiring about the containers being used and the person packing it. I was shocked that the very next day; being today I experienced the same issue. It sucks because their dishes are delicious but I can’t deal.

Great rapid service; went in on Monday for happy hour (Texans vs Cowboys) and sat at the bar, the bartender, Gabby was very friendly, attentive and made the best drinks!! Luis the manager stopped by and greeted each guest and asked how we were doing & if we needed anything. Hats off to the customer service and experience received during my visit! Delicious food and with great staff. I tried a couple of dishes, mahi mahi plate, eggs benedict, croissant french toast and chicken burger, all delish.
Gabby, our waitress, was awesome. She was so patient and kind and sooo accomodating to our needs.
The space was nice too, enough space between tables vs being over each other.

Hidden Gem! Our first visit to Local Table. Visited the Garden Oaks location and we were happy we choose to stop in. The restaurant was very clean (which is a must for me; even the bathrooms were clean!). It was also very aesthetically pleasing. Tables we set up far enough apart you didn’t feel as though you were encroaching on or eavesdropping on the next table. The hostess (hate I did not get her name) sat us promptly. Our server (Flynn) made great recommendations. She brought our beverages promptly and had a very friendly but professional disposition. Our food came out quickly and it was temperature perfect (I absolutely hate like warm food). Everything was fresh and seasoned well. My husband had the Southern California Omelet, and I ordered the Lemon Pasta and added Crispy Chicken. Both meals were spot-on. A young man, who introduced himself as Michael the manager (and said he was relatively new to this location), asked how we were doing. I gave him honest feedback and told him we were pleasantly pleased and impressed with every aspect of our dining experience. It was clear Michael was genuinely trying to connect with all guests. He too was polite, professional and very caring. We will definitely be back! If you have not been, be sure to stop by; you won’t be disappointed. It was me and my fiancés first time here, The environment was clean and the food was so good! Gabby was our server and she was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed and more!! Michale lopez the new general manager took care of us and gave us a croissant bread pudding as it was our first time dining there, he cares about the guests and there experience as well as his employees! **Amazing Experience at Local Table!**

I recently visited Local Table in Houston, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and lively. The food was absolutely delicious—everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Mediterranean options were especially stand-out, and I can’t stop thinking about the grilled ribeye and the house-made hummus.

What really made the experience memorable, though, was the incredible service we received. Flynn, our server, was an absolute delight! She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. Flynn went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her cheerful attitude made the meal that much more enjoyable, and we felt truly taken care of.

If you’re in Houston and looking for a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family, I highly recommend Local Table. Ask for Flynn—you won’t be disappointed!

Good service. Crab cake Eggs Benedict: poached egg & hollandaise sause was on par. Everything else tasted like it's was slapped on from another dish. The pallet was all over the place with under seasoned potato wedges. Get something other than brunch & your experience might be better than mine.

Really enjoyed lunch here today. Met some colleagues here and everyone commented on how good their dish was. I had the tuna poke bowl which is a favorite of mine and theirs is delicious. Seemed like there were plenty of healthy options on the menu which I appreciate.

We ate there tonight because I'd read it had gf choices, which I've just been told I should eat. Thinking I'd overlooked the markings at first glance, I asked the waitress (never were told her name) if all the gf items were marked and she said yes, then walked away as I started looking better. Only the kabob and salmon meals were marked gf. Was told later others could be if pita wasn't put on plate. My combo kabob plate was ok but too pricey. Only the first 2 bites of steak had gristles; chicken was tender. The 4 beans were barely cooked, zucchini was cut in very small pieces. Hubby ordered the gyro plate but said no jalapinoes in hummus and asked if there was some plain and was told yes. It is a part of the plate at Aladdins so we were surprised to get a $12 charge for it. The meat was very good but he didn't like just fries with it since he rarely eats fries. Waitress asked if food looked ok right after it was brought out but not tasted & didn't check again until I finished. (about 7:30+ Wed and almost nobody else eating) VERY doubtful we'll be back, maybe if we have to eat a late breakfast.

This is a place that my friends and I regularly suggest to each other because in addition to its good food and nice ambiance, it’s easily accessible (right off 610), has good parking options, and has great service. When I last visited this past Friday both the hostess and our waitress were super attentive and sweet! Was recommended adding the crispy chicken to my salad and that was absolutely the correct choice. :)

Looking forward to coming back and trying out more of the menu!

This place sucks!!!! Couldn't or wouldn't accommodate a party of 25 when told they could. Then we were told that we had to pay all together...will not patronize this establishment ever again...

i recently dined at local table and love it the food was grate and the atmosphere was cozy.
our waitress, Alex Nichols, provided outstanding service. she was attentive and friendly, making our experience even better.

Wow! What can I say? The food at Local Table is absolutely fantastic. I’ve never had something here that I did not love and that was not high quality. What I was surprised by, however, was the service I recieved today. Alex, our waitress, was above and beyond. Not only was she attentive, kind and personable, but she wrote us a recipe for a sauce that she thought we’d love. Truly the best! Thanks Alex.

Food is always good here. Drinks are always on point... it's all about the Froze for me! Atmosphere is great because the servers are all so cool!

This is our favorite restaurant for all the measures listed. Any we have been to A LOT of restaurants- all over for a LONG time. The menu selection and service just can not be beat. A very well run restaurant- for sure!

I've been coming to Local Table for several years now and recently found out I cannot have seed oils. The last time I was here was with a large party and the gentleman waiting on us was understandably busy, but kept forgetting about me. The only thing he said I could eat was the grilled hamburger. I ended up having a grilled patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato and a side of mixed fruit for $16.
It would be nice if they could come up with some menu items using healthier oils, butter, tallows etc.

Had brunch and it was very good. Between the four of us we had waffles, eggs Benedict, French toast and some fried chicken. Everything was great. Didn’t try the alcohol because it was a little pricey. However, the wait staff was amazing and the food l, while pricey, was cooked well. The only complaint was the fried chicken on the chicken and waffles, it was underseasoned and a little cold when it came out. Would come again

The service and food was great. We had the goat cheese appetizer, the chicken fried chicken and gyros plate. I would recommend all three. Definitely will be coming back. Grace our waitress was wonderful.

I went in for lunch and ordered Cast-Iron Fire-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Southern Chicken-Fried Chicken.
The restaurant has great atmosphere. Tables and decorations gave me a cozy feeling while dining in. Roasted brussels sprouts was an amazing starter that you can share amongst friends. Its slightly char flavor mixed well with the sweetness of honey and chili. Some places overcooked it a little bit and burned the bottom. So be sure to ask the waitstaff known your preference.
My entree Southern Fried Chicken was mediocre. The hero of the dish was that roasted Anaheim chile mushroom cream sauce. The sauce was creamy and robust in flavor. Both the chicken breast and green beans were cook just right. However, both need a tad more seasoning.

I had dinner here at the bar and the braised rib was awesome. It is a very clean and classy place. Angel was a very good and friendly bartender. Top notch 👌🏼

Is the Anaheim chicken no longer a chicken breast?

My order today looks like a few spare strips of chicken that should have gone on a side salad were thrown into the mushrooms and sauce. Was this a mistake or shrinkflation?

I got the Philly with fries. The sandwich was good just more bread than meat. Not a fan of the fries and most were not cooked all the way through.

It's a mile away but we had to spend $35 for it to be delivered

I enjoyed the Chipotle Cheddar burger. It was loaded with juicy veggies. Our server was Colin. I will say, Colin redeemed himself this time around. Thanks.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Had the Honey Ginger-Roasted Brussel Sprout Salad. It was very tasty, but the Brussel Sprouts were more raw than roasted. It would have been better if the Sprouts were trimmed and separated, then roasted.

Excellent place to eat at! I had the whisky peach to drink and two incredible appetizers the goat cheese and the Brussels sprouts (some of the best I’ve had)

Food was a little bland

Still was very open and staff were welcoming

I love this place! Our server today was Kat and she was absolutely amazing! She was friendly and helpful and did an amazing job. The food here is great. The atmosphere is great. It’s always nice to support our local bases. I highly recommend it. Family dinner, business lunch date night mother daughter time it all works here.

Was our first time trying it out and don't plan on ever visiting again. Food was decent but the service was terrible. We got there around 8:20pm on a Tuesday, not realizing they closed at 9pm. The entire time from the moment we sat down we felt rushed to pick a drink, barely seeing the menu. The appetizer hadn't even come out yet and we were being asked if we wanted to order dinner. The waiter came back again around 8:40pm letting us know the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and we then quickly put in our order. When it turned 9:00pm the servers started cleaning their empty stations, which is normal. However, it was OBVIOUS they wanted us to leave and were screeching the chairs and tables around multiple times obnoxiously. We just asked for the check, to-go boxes and left without finishing our meals. Walked out around 9:15 and as we were walking out they turned off the music. Having worked in the restaurant industry before, it's normal to leave an hour after closing for tables to wrap up. We will be going to Valencias next door instead. We never have terrible service there.

This restaurant was a breath of fresh air. The food was good, service was AMAZING, and the atmosphere was cute. Sean was my server and he was the most amazing person that has ever waited on me. I loved the place so much that it was hard to leave. lol. They have some really good cocktails. We ordered the spinach dip and blue crab cakes. *chefs kiss. I can’t wait to go back. I’m calling ahead of time to be sure Sean is there.

I had brunch with a friend on the patio at Local Table, and it was a wonderful experience! We ordered the crispy chicken with eggs and breakfast potatoes, a raspberry mimosa, a Mediterranean salad of some kind, a raspberry lemonade, an artichoke dip appetizer, and a piece of raspberry cheesecake. We were having a celebration. 🥳🥳

The food was exquisite. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful. The patio was spacious and had a comfortable amount of sun and shade for that time of day.

All in all, we enjoyed the meal. The food was so good that I didn't even think of photos until dessert. I would feel positive about eating here again.

Nice, clean, ample, modern atmosphere. Good service, good food. I didn't give the 5 stars to the food because it was a little acidic for my taste, but I think that is a characteristic of Mediterranean food. But very nice and fresh food. Nice place. Worth the visit.
