I've been coming several years on the go with Banh Mi or Spring Rolls being Staples along with a Vietnamese Coffee or Avocado Smoothie with Boba. But I slowed down to eat lunch and asked for some low carb recommendations from the owner which worked awesome. The flavors of their seasoning will keep me coming back. Thank you for the great food and service.

The food was full of authentic flavors. The staff incredibly attentive and atmosphere was comfortable, clean with lots of happy energy.
This is my only "go to" place for my Vietnamese cravings!

I highly recommend this place. We have become regular customers to the point that they know what we want and they know us my name. The food is delicious, very fresh. The service is very attentive and caring. This is one of many reasons why we come back.

Came here based on other reviews and this place did not disappoint. This visit I went simple since I had my daughter with me and ordered the chicken fried rice and beef stew with french bread. Both were delicious especially the beef stew. The beef was very tender and melt in the mouth. It's quite fatty but I ate around it. The fried rice is good and the chicken was tender. The waiter said everything here is good and I can believe it. It's very authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Service here is good and the food comes out quickly. As far as food portion size I thought it was small but quite filling, I am not sure for others who may think the portions are small but for me and my daughter it was fine (especially for lunch).
The restaurant is quite small so tables do fill up quickly especially on the weekend. I will definitely come back here and try more their Vietnamese menu.

Always incredible customer service! They serve authentic Vietnamese dishes that always taste delicious. We have ordered everything from the banh mi, spring rolls, hu tieu, com tam, and bo kho, etc. We have also ordered their party trays and everything turned out really good! Our favorites was the ca ri and nuoc mam wings! Highly recommend!

Great place to eat viet food! They keep their prices respectable unlike many places and their food is amazing! Our family has eaten here for years and we have ordered their party trays multiple times. Bo kho here is the best in town hands down.

We came here for dinner after going to grocery store. The owner is very nice and sweet. We all ordered com tam since it was our first time here. The meat was very tender and egg cake was delicious. The price is very reasonable. We will come back to try other dishes.

The food was ok, but the lady who took our order was literally coughing her lungs out, and she wasn't wearing a mask. I saw her coughing into people's food as she was bringing it out. It was disgusting. We got out of there as fast as we could. Can't believe a restaurant would allow someone to work like that.

I came here on a Tuesday afternoon with my mom and ordered the “#57 com tam thap cam” which is chargrilled pork, pork egg cake, shredded pork skin, and fried egg (pictured). It was good. My mom ordered hu tieu which is a noodle soup dish. I really liked the flavor of that one! Service was quick and place is clean! We also got the goi cuon which is Vietnamese for spring rolls (pictured). Delicious!

They got shut down by the health department before so be cautious. HOWEVER Rice dishes are good, soups and noodles are delicious. Service is a bit iffy (it is an asian place).

It's a good price for how much food you're given, though drinks cost more than I would like. The staff had forgotten about my order, though when I brought it up with them, they handled it very well.

Service always bad. Food is worst!!
One order was rice and duck and bbq pork
Duck was raw!! The server came and got the plate he was blowing his nose on a napkin didn't wash his hand before he got the plate then snot napkin in the same hand that he grab the plate. Then used the same plate to put the new duck on the same plate is not safe to eat plus server still didn't wash his hand from blowing his nose.

Banh mi sandwiches were fantastic!!! I got the char grilled pork and the vegetarian and I loved how the bread was nice and crispy and very flavorful! Definitely recommend!

Visited here an hour before closing (sorry!) but the staff were still happy to greet us and take our orders. I understand what it's like at the end of the day, and I was happy with the service. Food gives the "homemade" feel with a restaurant presentation. I think the nuoc mam could have a little more sugar and water for my preference. Portion and pricing is fair. The building is clean, but it could use a bit more polish. Great food! I'll try the rice sometime.

Being originally from Houston, we were used to having a wide variety of restaurants available. We now live near Magnolia, Texas, and out here we have Mexican and Chinese food, and a million places to get hamburgers. We kind of dumbed into Com Tam, and we will be back! Good food, friendly people. And about time there is decent Vietnamese food we don't have to drive into Houston for!

The food is good but the service isn't that great, but it is what took wouldexpect of an Asian restaurant (good food, not so good service). The prices are very good and their party ready catering is the best up in NW Houston. Now that they've opened up a BBQ place next door, I go more often!

It's OK given it's location. Not bad but definitely not a substitute for Bellaire shops as it purports to do. Kind of small portion, with sweet grilled pork that tastes like beef jerky. The bo luc lac (shaky beef) was pretty tender but not enough for me. Service was spotty as typical of the small independent shops. They got several orders wrong from almost every surrounding tables, but was very nice about it.

Come by here every now and then and I can't say that their customer service is all that great. We are talking about a small mom and pop Vietnamese owned restaurant. Upon entering inside, you're already getting the stare down by the OG men drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes outside the restaurant.

Moving past all that mess, what I usually come here for and recommend is their shredded chicken banh mi! I feel like it's the best and often times I get frustrated that they've ran out of shredded chicken.

They do serve other dishes such as their rice platter (what they are supposedly known for as well as what the restaurant name is after) though I just thinks it's your typical rice platter like any ordinary place. You could get the same thing at the pho place literally 10 steps across the place. Oh and they serve pho too, almost forgot. I mean, they literally have a little bit of everything on their menu.

Just prepare when it gets over crowded and hot in that place...

First impression-place looked somewhat outdated and unhygienic - dirty dishes were left on several tables and furniture looked old. Proceeded on ordering, due to the good reviews, and was told they only served one size when it came to pho take outs. Then waited 20 mins for my order, they were sorry for that. What really got me upset though was finding a hair in my salad next to my egg rolls. Never coming back.

The place is kind of hit or miss, more hit than miss. When they are getting it done right the food is excellent, occasionally they will have a hiccup but not bad, I think it is one of the better Vietnamese places around

They just opened an Asian BBQ store next to their restaurant. Their Roasted Pork is the best in town. I definitely recommend this place over other ones in China Town.
