This was my first time at an Ikea, and it was just as crazy as people say it is. It's like the store never ends! The further we went, the more in shock we were that we had only gotten a quarter or so of the way through the store. Eventually, we made it to a place selling food, and we got some amazing tasting meatballs. The meatballs made the entire trip well worth it. However, we had a lot of trouble finding the exit. Every time we had thought we found the way out, it would either be a fire exit we couldn't use yet or an employee only room. The directions given throughout the store didn't help us all that much with finding our way out. We had to ask an employee to give us an idea of where to go. Other than that, this place was amazing. Some of the prices of furniture we came across seemed crazy cheap for what they were. There were some really good deals as we went through the store. I'd recommend visiting this place if you want to grab more furniture, or if you want to try some new, really good meatballs.

I'm not a believer that the quality is worth the climbing prices.
Also now the majority of large items are in the "order pickup" department so you get the wait in line (and write negative reviews) while they pull the product you just paid for.
I waited 24 minutes, yes, I timed it.. just to pick up a table that could have easily been picked from the self-serve area.
Not a happy camper here..

Very nice and clean and I love their style. Despite that though I was so shocked at how easy they make their return policies. All I needed to provide was the total on the receipt and date it was purchased so they could locate the order and they offered to refund or offer a store credit. Anyway, who doesn’t love IKEA?! It’s iconic!

IKEA never disappoints! The store was so well-organized, making it easy to find everything I needed (and plenty I didn’t know I needed!). Highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for stylish, affordable home goods and a fun shopping experience!

Dropping this review to 1 star from 2- Definitely got FOOD POISONING from the cafeteria.
Standard IKEA, not as great as the other 2 locations I've visited, but about the same. The downside: The food here was absolutely terrible. We actually felt sick by the time we made it through after eating, so yeah, I recommend avoiding the cafeteria.

I don’t know how a company as large as IKEA can have so many major technology issues. I ordered a table and 6 chairs online due to there not being enough chairs in-person. I got a notification the my order was ready, but without the table and with one missing chair. Obviously I had to request a refund because why would I want 5 random chairs and no table?
I keep checking online to see when they have more than enough chairs in stock and have more than enough tables in stock. That day was today as there were apparently 5 tables in stock and 11 chairs in stock. I go and get all 6 chairs and have to use the kiosk computer to order the table to be picked up by the parking lot door. Everything seemed to be going to plan.
However, I was fooled again. I showed my receipt for the table to the guy who gets the larger furniture boxes and waited for my name to be called. After 45 minutes, I figure there must be something wrong because they still had not called my name. I ask what is going on and was informed that the table is not in stock. So I just wasted 2 hours on a trip to IKEA despite doing everything in my power to ensure that what happened wouldn’t happen.
I will never be shopping at IKEA again.

We went there to get some dressers and other home furniture, turns out most of it was overpriced and cheaply made which really goes against the Swiss reputation of making quality merchandise. While we were shopping we ate at their cafeteria. I would highly recommend to everyone that they DO NOT eat there. My wife and I got sick from it. I took two bites out of the barbecue brisket and it smelled really bad like stinky feet so I threw it away. I had bad gas and diarrhea the whole night, pretty sure I got parasites from the meat 🪱. I think they don't actually cook their food it's all prepackaged and really disgusting. We did buy a couple of wire racks and kitchen utensils but a lot of the items there are really cheaply made and sketchy. I'd say overall the place is sketchy. I plan on filing a complaint with the health department about their food.

If your item forces you to use the pick up point to get the item, just go home. We have been waiting 30+ minutes for our item that would’ve taken 5 minutes if we could’ve grabbed it ourselves. After waiting for 15 minutes, we asked how much longer. The girl came back to tell us that they just barely started putting our order together. It’s disorganized and unclear how this process works. Apparently, they were super busy in the back. We were the only people waiting. Not sure how that works. I wish I would’ve been warned I’d be stuck waiting for this long!

I like Ikea but the guy that was running the checkout today was a jerk. They had no cash lanes open and the credit line was super long. I simply asked if they don't do cash anymore and he snapped at me stating that they only do it on request. So I asked if we could please get a lane open to pay with cash as that was our plan in the first place. He seemed very upset that we wanted to pay with cash. They opened the lane and after we paid, there were a bunch of people that wanted to pay with cash as well. There is obviously a demand for it.

They sold me a “new” product that had clearly been glued together and drilled into by someone else. Unfortunately with health issues and then a pregnancy that put me on bedrest, I didn’t get around to returning it in the 6 month return window and they also said I can’t have a spare part despite them still selling that product in store. Absolutely frustrated that I spent 45min driving out there to try to get this taken care of, when the “new” product came clearly damaged (it’s obvious it was drilled into and glued badly), and it’s obvious we only pulled one piece out of the box—the damaged piece, so we definitely didn’t do that ourselves. Terrible customer service to deny a spare part and refuse to make it right when it’s IKEA’s fault for reselling an obviously used and damaged product as new.

Really don't get why people like Ikea. I've been there several times and have bought some marginally useful stuff. Their furniture is all undersized. Chairs for example are 17" tall instead of the standard 18". Most stuff costs as much as RC Willey or a legit furniture store. You have to assemble the furniture yourself.
The store is a 5 mile long nightmarish trap designed by M. Night Shyamalan. Most recently, after spending 4 hours walking through their death maze, the chairs we came to buy were out of stock. Homegirl at the checkout said we'd have to comeback to walk another marathon on Friday. We got escalated to homeboy who said we could pick up the chairs at their depot in Salt Lake on Monday. My pregnant wife drove 40 min to the depot in Salt Lake. When she got there they said they don't have our chairs, we'd have to come back on Friday.
What a bunch of jags.

IKEA: A Home Furnishing Haven
IKEA remains a popular destination for affordable and stylish home furnishings. With its wide range of products, from furniture and appliances to kitchenware and textiles, there's something for everyone. The store's unique layout encourages exploration and discovery, making it a fun and engaging shopping experience. While the Swedish meatballs and coffee are a must-try, be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends. Overall, IKEA offers a great value for your money and is a reliable source for home goods.

Everyone is familiar with what you’re getting product wise with Ikea. The review is indicative of this location, specifically their customer service, or rather, lack of.
Forget trying to make a return, you will wait for over 30 minutes regardless if you do the pre-return process through the app, check in at the kiosk, AND have your receipt and barcode ready. There are countless employees standing around looking clueless that claim they’re unable to help - while the one person that evidently is able to help, is in no hurry to do so.
I understand there are staffing issues and this location is under construction to expand, but how can you expect to successfully expand when you can’t manage the area you currently have.

I was disappointed with the experience at this location. I've only ever been to the IKEA stores in Texas, but on the way through Utah, we stopped at this location to get some lunch and buy a couple things. The food had been sitting for a while so the salmon was dry and the veggies were mushy. The chocolate cake was as I remembered, just a thin slice. We were disappointed that the berry cheesecake wasn't offered (perhaps discontinued?), but the plain cheesecake filling was excellent. The crust was just mush, though. To top that experience off, the roof was leaking everywhere during a thunderstorm, and we got dripped on all through the food ordering experience. The rest of the shopping experience was ok; things were just difficult to find. The checkout process was a little frustrating as we had to wait for them to find someone to check us out as we paid with cash. We left disappointed overall.

We had the most amazing help from all of the staff, and they have always been really lovely and dedicated to making it an amazing experience, quality is decent and prices are pretty good for what you get.
