The Quilted Bear

We saw this place while out to dinner and decide to stop in and see if we could find a gift for a friend. There was a sign on the door stating unique gifts. Store was clean and lots of cute decor of many kinds. It looks like they sell space to vendors. Some things are quite overpriced in my opinion, but we still find a great gift with engraving. Service at check out was friendly. Totally forgot to take pics.

I was so disappointed when I walked in. The place is overcrowded, and the decorating is terrible! What happened to Christy, the nice lady who used to decorate so beautifully? I felt so anxious by how cluttered it was that I didn't even stay very long to really shop. I can get better prices and just about the same things at other stores. I have always shopped the quilted bear and I miss the old way this was set up. It used to be such a relaxing shopping experience. Now the store is just too overwhelming and difficult to find anything unique. I still love the crafter booths in the back, but the rest of the store looks messy and over filled with inventory. I don't think I'll be back. I'm sad to see it changed so much from the way it used to be when it was more open and inviting.

I really like this store but seems empty all the time. There are a couple darling booths that I visit monthly to see what they invent next. I don't like the commercial products that they buy and reprice $$$. This is why I attend the boutique shows. I like different and unique crafts and a couple booth in particular have very talented people. They are side by side on the right hand of the store. One sells darling monthly themed wreaths and little figures, yes UTES are represented!! The neighboring booth sells the cutest holiday items. I love the mummies, witches and scarecrows. I enjoyed decorating for Halloween this year. IF they had more talent like this in the store I think they would find a draw and double the customers. I had to take a picture of her large witch, I mean who does this? That is a lot of work. Look forward to the wreaths and this booth for Christmas decoration. Already cleared off a storage shelf. . I have been shopping at the store since it was in Midvale. When they move to Draper, I love how they had the items at the front of the store. They sold high quality and classy style items. The store was organized and easy to see items that you could picture buying for your house. I am sad to see that the store is now becoming commercialized. The store has so much stuff that it's hard to focus on what to buy. The prices have gone up and I find that I can go to Hobby Lobby and pay less for the same items that are now being sold in the store. Quilted Bear had upper class style and stuff that you couldn't find at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I don't know what changed, but I am so sad to see that it's the same stuff I can buy at HL. Really wish you would go back to the upper style.

Truly a letdown. Front of store looks like made in China, items. Back area that says it's from local crafters, are items that local people are selling not necessarily making. Definitely a missed opportunity to showcase local artists..

I ordered an item in mid-December fully anticipating that it would arrive by Christmas. It's now mid-February. Not only has my order not arrived...I haven't heard a peep from Quilted Bear. No explanation...no apology...no update whatsoever!!!

So many beautiful locally made products!! Home decor, clothes, jewelry and more. There’s something for everyone’s taste. Items can be a bit pricey because they’re not manufactured items and are of high quality but even just walking through the store is fun :)

I’ve been there a handful of times in the past year and I just don’t buy anything except some gourmet candy or something. I think I’ve aged out of all the baby clothes. My kids are teens, I’m not LDS, and that’s okay, I’m just not a customer that’s interested in temple/returned missionary products, baby blessing dresses, etc.
I used to really enjoy the hungry bear, and all the awesome antiques at the other location. That would definitely draw me back in if they had a way of bringing it back. Miss the Ol’ Bear.
Still lots of talented crafters there, just less of them. 😭

I went the other day to look for a baptism dress for my baby and the lady was really rude and told me that I couldn't try it on my baby so I didn't buy it, today I went to look for some clothes for my baby and there was a lady there buying a baptism dress and they did let her try the dress on her baby! If you can't let people try on things is ok with me but be the same with everyone!

The store has so much to choose from. Very organized , Enough space between isles to work your way down from store front to back. The word "More" on sign in front of building does not give it justice.

I always forget how much I love The Quilted Bear until I walk in the store again. It always smells great, never gets crowded, and has such a lovely variety of products that I'm always able to find gifts for everyone on my list. This is a must shop location for me every Christmas. Highly recommend.

GREAT help from all of the girls I spoke to at different times on one day trying to track down some items. After an extremely unpleasant experience at the Ogden location the gals at the Draper store helped me with exactly what I needed over the phone, and went above and beyond to FaceTime to make sure we were talking about the same item. Although it is quite a bit further for me to drove to this location, it is where I will be going from now on.

Very disappointed in their customer service. I purchase a Leafy Treetop calendar from the Quilted Bear every year for Christmas for my wife. I purchased one in December and didn't realize until my wife opened her gift that the calendar was a 2020-2021 calendar (already half way over). I tried returning the calendar and they said they cannot take returns for this vendor (In The Leafy Treetops). I asked if they felt it was ethical to sell a $50 calendar for full price that was already half way over, or if they would be willing to do a small discount given the situation. They just replied that there is nothing that they can do and to contact the vendor. I've tried contacting the vendor in Lehi without any response. I understand that part of this is on me for not noticing that it was a 2020-2021 calendar (outsides aren't labeled) and that vendors rent spaces, but good businesses help take care of customers...

Super cute store! They have many booths that showcase many artists, quilted/sown items and more for your home decor and to wear! I bought a pair of matching bows for my baby and I to twin with and I love them! If you have any doubts about going, thrown them aside and you can spend a wonderful afternoon seeing so many beautiful products.

I LOVE this location! I drive all the way from the other side of the state to come here because I always have a great experience and today was exceptional! I am on crutches indefinitely so getting around is very challenging. Shawna helped me at the check out today and she went above and beyond her position to create an unforgettable experience for me. It’s acts of kindness like these that make a huge difference! I hope she is recognized for the amazing Employee that she is! The world is a better place because she is in it! I will definitely return!

Great selection of interior decoration and local crafts. I've had to reevaluate my rating as every time I go in there recently, they don't have any employees on the floor. Nobody to ask questions. The only people I see are the cashiers, who are busy.

Craft lovers of all brands rejoice. This is your mecca. There is practically something for everybody here from decorations to practical items to clothing. The space is pretty expansive. Prices do vary wildly. Employees are hit and miss as far as how helpful they are. There is plenty of parking available. Egress can be complicated. 123rd South is an over-engineered disaster.

I could spend hours here. Everything is so cute and the displays always look amazing. This is the best place to come for unique home decor. I've been going to The Quilted Bear ever since I was a kid. I loved it then and I love it now. Plus, I love supporting small local businesses!

This store always has some cute things! I wish the vendor booths would rotate in new things more often. Some are great but some always have the same things, which I guess is great when that's what you're looking for.

I just love shopping at the Quilted Bear! They have such a unique selection of things to decorate your home or there are even a couple of booths with delicious treats like Delectable Addictions food mixes! I swear every time I walk thru the store there is always something new and exciting to look at. The store is full of eye candy. I highly recommend the Quilted Bear.

I love this store filled with home decor and gifts because it has such a local flavor. The aisles are divided into "booths" displaying locally made goods such as clothing, blankets, hair accessories, wooden signs, art, and on and on. This is the best place to find headbands and bows for babies/little girls.
