8 AM breakfast on a Monday morning during a holiday week and it was fairly busy. Wait was 30 minutes for a table for 2 but we were able to sit immediately at the bar. Food came out quick, hot, and as described. I ordered the small breakfast with eggs over medium, sausage, potatoes, and a pancake. It was all pretty basic for a breakfast, but the pancake was a bit salty for my taste. I would probably try something else next time, but wasn’t feeling incredibly hungry this time. I would definitely give it another try. Great price for quality and quantity.

I normally come to this place twice a month, but last Thursday I was there with my family and I totally regret it! My server Denise was extremely rude and mean it seems like she doesn’t like Latinos , she was very friendly with the table next to me who was a white couple. I will never come back to this location, normally I always spend between 90 and 100 to 120 every time congratulations you just lost 4000 dls on your P&L

I've gone to Penny Anns for several years now. I have never been served a meal like this before. I had a ham and egg sandwich, ask for cheese on it. There was no cheese on it. There was nothing to go with it. It was takeout. Worst meal i've ever received from there. Somebody must been having a very terrible morning. Cathie Ewing

My French toast was really good, their yogurt did taste like they just bought it from Walmart and stuck some over the counter oats in it. Which isn't the end of the world It was still pretty good but I wouldn't recommend that dish specifically. We had a pretty good size party, and they were very accommodating. Overall everyone was pretty satisfied.

Just left Penny Anne’s and they suck tremendously! They told me a 15-20 minutes wait for 2 people so we stood 5 ft away from the guy and girl up front. For 15 minutes I watched multiple people get seated before us. After almost 20 minutes I took 3 steps towards them because remember I have been right in front of them the WHOLE TIME, and asked why we hadn’t been called yet.

This dude looks at me clueless as to who I am even though he took my information down and I’ve been standing in front of him for 20 minutes. They say they don’t have me listed and will put me on the list now, and the wait is now…. 30 minutes! When I asked if that was 10 minutes more or 30 minutes more for a total of 50 minutes he said yes, another 30 minutes! On top of that he acted as though I was being unreasonable.

Unfreakingbelievable way to treat a customer. You suck and I will never be back.

For the record we went over to Black Bear Diner that is 3 minutes down the rode and got a table in 5 minutes. The food is vastly superior and better priced. At Black Bear Diner they actually care about customers and deliver a great experience.

Penny Anne’s is garbage!!!

12/01/24: Stopped in again with the family today and had another delicious breakfast! Everyone got their favorites, and it didn't disappoint! The only complaint I would have from this visit is that we got the draft table. If you've had the disappointment of being seated at this table in the wintertime, you know exactly what I'm referring to. Every time someone opens the front door to enter or exit, you get a nice, chilling reminder of how cold it is outside compared to how cozy it is inside. This is not really something that can be controlled by the business except a temporary lobby in the wintertime, and not seating anyone in that table would just move the problem (maybe a discount on some delicious hot chocolate for anyone seated at the draft table to help keep them warm?).

On the positive side, the service was fast, and the food was hot (unless the door gets held open). If you're planning a visit here, get on the waitlist ahead of time, and you'll be glad you did!

But the guy whom took our name did get us a table earlier than what we expected. But the service, & the food was delicious. I definitely would go back again. My friend had a skillet, & I had the small breakfast, which had, 2 eggs, potatoes, sausage, & a pancake.

Quite a different experience recently than what we've had before. What happened?

We arrived Saturday morning about 9:30 and placed our name on the waiting list for a party of 5. My wife provided the host with her cell number so they could contact her when our table was ready. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, my wife checked with the host for an update only to be told by the same man who took our name and cell number down that we weren't on the waiting list at all. She looked at his notes and found that he never wrote her name down, but did write down an incorrect cell number. When she pressed him on this issue, he told her "Well, I guess I better get you seated next then." He crammed us into a corner and we had to move two tables together to seat our party.

Ordered our food and everything was brought out and served to us. I had ordered the corned beef hash omelet. The egg content has been scaled back considerably, so much so that the thin veneer of egg barely contained the corned beef content. It used to be a much heartier / thicker egg composition, so it's obviously been cut back due to costs but the price has been increased.

Everything else was okay, but notable less stellar than what we've enjoyed in past visits. Seems like quality and customer service have both declined sadly. Not sure we would return based on our recent visit.

It was the most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever had, the manager was waiting on me and I had to wait more than 10 minutes for a coffee refill. Yes, I timed it. I don’t leave reviews often because I don’t ever want to hurt anyone’s feelings so I hope if anything this helps the owners. My fiancé and I went here for the first time today and we walked in and stood there waiting for someone to come seat us. Finally, a tall guy (Andres) with the BIGGEST frown on his face came over and without even saying HI, he simply goes HOW MANY and then motioned us to a table and abruptly walked off. I looked around and noticed how filthy the floors were. Then I got up to use the restroom and ALL the rugs and floor EVERYWHERE were so gross. This kind of made me wonder what kind of shape the kitchen was in. The food was meh. Not bad, not great. I’m a business owner, and mannn it’s super important you greet your customers warmly and keep your place tidy. Even your “please wait to be seated” sign has a random, tall, OPEN trash can right next to it.

The food is typically fantastic. My husband and I both enjoy the Cordon Bleu breakfast. The first time I ordered it, there was chunks rotisserie chicken and plenty of swiss cheese to enjoy.

What's bring the ratings down to three stars, is the lack of warmed plates for the food. Unfortunately, this oversight causes my meal to cool down and get cold. The ratings will go to a 5 star review if warm food gets served on warm plates.

We were seated very quickly and the food was delicious! The wait staff was friendly and efficient. All of the dishes we had, especially the pancakes, were amazing!

This place is amazing - you have to try the Penny Puffs! Coffee is good, brunch plates are large and delicious, the service is fantastic - and all at a great price point. Penny Ann's is quickly becoming our go-to brunch spot. Expect a long wait during busy brunch times, but it's worth it!

Really good food, so it's very popular. You may have to wait for a table. During off times we get right in, but during busy times we've waited for an hour. They were doing this Yelp reservation thing and we had just shown up in person.

Philly cheesesteak omelette with feta cheese was delicious 10/10. Hot cakes are amazing! I see why they sell the mix! The hot cakes alone are enough to want to come back there everyday! Nice diner style place with incredibly nice servers.

One of our top and favorite breakfast spots. The pancakes melt in your mouth and everything on the menu is delicious. We love the hot chocolate, it's so rich and delicious. I would love if they put some ice in the fresh squeezed orange juice, mine was warm, but other than that it was a great experience!

It is disorganized and extremely loud. Our server didn’t even speak to us she was over extended on tables. I’ll order to go though.

First time eating here and definitely making this a favorite. I ordered the PAC Benedict with their heavenly hotcakes and my boyfriend ordered the Reuben. The only complaint with mine is that the hollandaise sauce was way too thin. With the super thin sauce and egg yolk, the edges of the croissant started getting soggy only after a few minutes. I scraped the sauce and yolk off and just dipped my bite into it. The potatoes are some of the best I've ever had, but the hotcakes.....OMG. To call them Heavenly is the perfect way to describe them. BEST PANCAKES BY FAR!!!
My boyfriend's choice of meal was amazing as well. The reuben is one of the best I've had and the caesar salad might be the best.
The only other complaint was that the waitress told me that the raspberry tea was sweet. I told her I wanted an iced tea and asked if they have a sweet tea or if it's just a black tea iced w/no sugar. She told me that they do have a sweet tea and that it is raspberry. I asked again just to make sure the raspberry tea was sweet because I've been to a lot of places that have iced raspberry tea but no added sweetener. As you can guess, it was not sweet which is perfectly fine, I can add sugar to it, but you shouldn't tell your customers something you don't know for sure. She seemed a tiny bit nervous so maybe she was new, but should have told me, "I'm not sure, let me find out". She was really nice and seemed like she was trying to do a good job.
Overall, this place is amazing and will be going back again & again!!

Yeah, atmosphere is really friendly and the music is really good on top of that. The food is perfect with options of toast, heavenly pancakes, or French toast.
